So, I wrote a review in 2017. I will say that I did call R&D for a quote. They were the most responsive and reasonably priced. We decided to try them out. What initially was supposed to be irrigation turned into spring clean up, fixing some items in the yard and a fertilization program. Great guys who make sure you are 100% satisfied. read more

Mowing review- They miss spots, They turn tooo sharply on the grass, which tears it to shit. They miss trimming and blow grass onto sidewalks, patios and overall just do a terrible job. read more

I want to state that I did not have any work completed by this company. I had an estimate completed back in March for some landscaping to be completed around my patio (Approximately 400 to 500 sq. feet.) and to have 2 gutter spouts put under ground. The reason why I chose to have this company give me an estimate is because a really good worker who had his own business decided to quit his business and go work with this company. I could not begin to tell you how good of a worker this person was and I am sorry that he went to work for R & D Landscaping. When I received the quote, the next day I unfortunately had some financial issues arise. I went and spoke to Doug about this and to tell him I still wanted him to do some of the work. I was hoping he would understand my situation. Well after writing him several times with questions and when he could start my project he would tell me that I am not a priority (small project) and he would could not commit to a date to come out and do the work. Now....I am in the service industry as well and do consulting work for the government. The the last thing you do is tell to an end customer that their job is too small and is not worth their time. (How would that make you feel?) I even went ahead and told Doug that I realized this project is not big by any means and I am willing to go ahead and have him to about $1,500 to $1,800 of work. I sent him two emails regarding this work. He finally responds to me weeks later and said and I quote "I'm in a position where I have to choose the best work for our company, with that being said, I will have to decline the work at your house. Again my apologies but I have too much work close to home" I live 25 minutes from Holt!!! I guess that is too far. I am appalled by this company and I guess I am thankful that I did not have them do any work. Thanks for leading me along and finally after a month of communication telling me that you now are refusing my business. Don't be fooled if a company tells you that they are Christian based....that is just a cover to sound like they are good people and will do right by you. Conclusion - If you want R & D Landscaping to do any kind of work, you better be prepared to pay inflated prices and live within 25 miles from them or they will waist your time. read more
