He doesn't ask for paystubs or anything so, people that do not have very good credit wind up here. To address that people say that they are coming to get their car after missing one payment, not true. I have bought a couple of cars from him when I was in a tight spot and just starting out. Life happens! I have friends that have bought cars from him. I have one friend who did not make a payment for almost 3 months before they picked it up. I know for a fact that if YOU take the initiative and call them and say hey, I don't get paid for a few more days, they will be ok with that. Do they sit around and shoot the breeze? Yes. If you go and ask them questions though, they will answer. They are just not following you around the whole time you're on the lot. Are the cars the greatest? Not always but, if there was anything ever wrong with the car immediately, they sent me to a mechanic they know, free of charge. They have never added it to my payments. If it is something that happens after having the car awhile, well that is your responsibility anyway. Have the car checked by someone you know before agreeing to buy it. Simple as that. They are not perfect but, they are decent if you are in a pinch and really need a vehicle.

My past experiences with buy here pay here places have been sub-par at best and I was a little sceptical about contacting them, but I am so glad I did. Alan is great to work with and more than fair. I found an SUV that was perfect for my needs a a second vehicleI, but it had a few minor issues. Most dealers especially BHPH places say it is strictly as is. Nope not Alan, he's going to fix those minor issues and hopefully I'll be in my new ride tomorrow. I just bought an F-150 from a major local car dealer and now I wish I'd found Alan before I bought from them. I highly recommend Dino Auto sales and when rating BHPH, they get 10 stars in my book, but alas I can only give 5. Oh, and he is in no way the cheesy, greesey, fast talking, trickster that you usually run into in this kind of dealership. He's not out to take advantage of the under-banked with less than stellar credit, he really enjoys what he does and honestly wants to help you get into a car, not just take your money. When I asked for the website to check them out he got immediately defensive and said I wasn't ready to sell and when I was to call him. Second red flag. Then he said well do it together and spelled out the exact site to go to with what I can only assume are fake reviews. While he was running his mouth telling me I couldn't sell it on my own I searched for other reviews and found several on scams, offers that never happened, and others in my boat with pushy and most of all rude sales staff. When I brought this to his attention he got even more agitated telling me those had all been resolved and I was only looking for the bad. He said they have an "A" rating and again, I don't want to sell and im wasting his time.He only works with sellers and I'm someone that isn't ready to sell. All this was at an elevated volume and more than "pushy". Rude was an understatement. Having been face to face I feel violence would have eventually occurred on MY PART, so not having worked with them, I wouldn't recommend them for anything. Their job is to work for the customer. I was the customer and they Told me what to do, and then became aggressive when I questioned them. HARD PASS here!!!

I paid $1,100.00 to list my two units. The sales rep told me they had just sold an identical dump truck and trailer within the previous 2 weeks. He said there were 11 competitive offers on the truck and 3 on the trailer. He estimated a few weeks to get the truck sold, and "maybe a month" to sell the trailer. A month went by, nothing. I reached out to the sales rep as he told me if I had any questions about my units I could contact him any time. When I contacted him he told me he deals with 100 listings and doesn't have time to monitor them all. He gave me the number for a receptionist. I called her and she told me how many "views" my listings have, as if that means anything. I lowered the price on both units considerably. A few weeks have gone by and I still have not received an offer. I was under the impression that the registry would be marketing my equipment in order to find a buyer. Instead, I believe I've paid 1100 dollars for them to put my units on eBay. I'd recommend saving your money and doing that yourself. I should have trusted my gut initially.
