I could not recommend them enough! My car started breaking down and making a LOT of grinding and sputtering noise. I was due to drive out of state that same day and wanted it taken care of before making the drive and being stranded. They were able to see me the same day, and fixed the issues within a few hours... I'm always a little wary of going to new shops because I don't know much about cars, but they were honest, diagnosed the issue (which was a much simpler fix than I thought) and fixed the issue for far less than I thought it would be. I was given a price and had to go talk to the owner, I humbly requested a change at the price simply because I was going to start working with my car and can not afford this, he looked at me and said " do not worry, just tell them to do what you need" and boom the guy charged me half. When I brought the car back they ganged up on me and and swore that this could NOT be the result of anything they had did , they would not repair it or even as tempt to try and resolve this problem . We decided to take my boyfriend's new commuter here. He drives 100 miles a day so we bought a gas saver 2002 Altima with a bad transmission for a steal of a price. We dealt with Andy who let us have a low mileage transmission we bought online be shipped to them to install on our car. These guys do honest work and don't try to sell you a bunch of BS. They're also always busy which is a great sign. They're open Saturdays and Sundays which works best for us as we have weekends off. Prices are beyond competitive and we've never had any issues with any of their work. Highly recommend! read more

This is not a place I recommend. I spent about 1k on repairs/ maintenance and my car ran like crap after. Not even a week later my engine blew up. My family and I been taking our cars to R&M for the past decade. The staff is very knowledgeable about cars, as well as reasonable with their prices. To me communication is key when I have a car at the shop. Every time I've drop off a car, Ramon and Andy get back to me in a matter of a few hours. Explaining what's wrong with the car and what they suggest should be done. It's hard to find an honest and reliable mechanic, which guarantees the work they do. Everyone has different experiences! Do not take your care here. I took my infiniti for a clutch and a few other things they managed to give me more problems. I asked for them to replace one water hoes that was leaking and they did yet they did not do it correctly and still leaked. I asked them to check my transmission fluid and i had to go back bc it was dry. Further more after the clutch i began to hear a weird noise, after going with a transmission mechanic he said my drive shaft might be damage, something that didn't exist before. To top it off i asked for the car to be align and today i took it to a tire shop for the same thing, it is obvious they did not align my car. This mechanic shop is a fraud they charged me for things they didn't check. To top it off they took a two weeks to return my car. Please do not support this fraud shop. read more

These guys were my mechanics for the past ten years. Anything that went wrong with my car I would come here. My family has probably spent several thousand dollars in fixing multiple cars. I always felt that their prices were fair and they guaranteed their work. This last time I took my car in because the alignment was off, the car was shaking and my gas gauge wasn't marking correctly. They charged me $400 but I noticed the shaking didn't go away. The alignment was still a bit off and they did nothing on the gas gauge (fine they didn't charge me for this). I took my car back because they said the labor and parts had warranty. I dropped it off on Sunday morning and I didn't hear back for 2 days. I called them on Tuesday and they said they would call me right back. I didn't hear back for another two days. By that time I was pretty frustrated. I had borrowed my sister's car and needed to return it to her. I picked up my car and although they didn't do anything to fix the problems they originally said they fixed, they charged me $65 for "running the scan tool". I've seen the scan tools at Harbor Freight tools and they cost roughly $65. So did I just help them pay for a new scan tool? I mean they didn't do anything although they always guarantee their work. I guess the owner is more concerned about his "rising" political career in Maywood (ha!). It's kind of a joke to think this guy is a "leader" in the community when he is a cheat and can't even speak English. Anyway, they can have my $65 dollars, but they've have lost a long time loyal customer and her family. read more

Do not come here. They over price any work they do. Also still your things that u might leave in your car. They took some sunglasses that I had in my car. Before I left my car I made sure that I had my sunglasses safe in my glove box. Came back picked my car up, and came back home then noticed that my glasses where not there any more. Called them and told them, owner told me that he did not know anything about any sunglasses, but that I also should be more careful of living things in the car!!!????
