BEWARE: DISHONEST; WILL DESTROY YOUR WIRING TO TEMPORARILY "FIX" YOUR AC. I came in April 2023 looking for a trustworthy shop to fix my AC. It would go out intermittently and not blow cold air. The owner told me that it was a "simple relay issue" and presented my car back to me with it blowing ice cold air. He told me to keep the AC always on for the first couple of weeks just to help the airflow. Since that time, I continued to have issues where the AC would still go out and stop working. I also inherited more issues: cold vapor of air flowing through the vents even when AC is not turned on. White flakes sometimes came through, as if it was snowing in my car. Unfortunately, I did not have money to keep taking it back to get fixed, so I deal with it. Fast forward to 2026, I take my car to Seiko's auto shop in Monrovia to finally address the AC issue before another summer season hits. To my surprise, they let me know that the previous shop I took my car to (SWIFTGIRL AC AUTO) has completely jerryrigged the wiring. They had my AC compressor set to always be turned on even when it's not actually on (now the owner's "airflow" instruction makes sense!... load of BS!!) The temperature of the AC was reading as 15 degrees when normally should be at 40 degrees. This explains the cold vapor of air and snowflakes. It was so cold that it made an ice block in my car and prevented airflow from coming through. I had to pay thousands to get this problem diagnosed, re-do ALL the wiring that Swiftgirl messed up, and then pay more to finally get to the bottom of the original cause of the AC problem. DO NOT trust this shop!!!! If you don't know much about cars, they will not be the ones to do honest work! THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU. They will purposely mess up your car and give you a temporary fix to make it seem like it's working just to take your money. Shame on this business and everyone associated with it. Anyone who has recently gotten their AC fixed by Swiftgirl, I HIGHLY recommend to take it somewhere else and double check your wiring before you end up with a bigger problem like I did. read more

Long overdue review- came in the spring to fix my 2014 Honda Civic AC that I had pretty much replaced in 2020 and my AC did not last 2 years. We SUFFERED for years without it until I found this amazing shop. I brought in my car last year to get my AC fixed because it was blowing hot air. I had initially taken it to the Honda Service Center in Downey and supposedly they found a "leak" in the evaporator which would cost $1900 to fix. I said no thanks. The AC in my 2016 Honda Civic has given me trouble almost since I got it. The Honda dealership around the corner from my house was quoting me almost $4,000!! Memo, the owner, was extremely professional and was able to repair my AC the same day I took it in!! When I went to pick up the car, Memo showed me the parts that he replaced and what the problem was and even explained to me how it could have happened. He gave me an estimate and told me to go in. Went there talked to the person at the site and they quickly dignosed the issue , he was right my car was empty on frion. They filled up my frion at a reasonable price and when they did they they noticed one of the hoes was bad so they replaced it free of charge. Swiftgirl AC is a lifesaver. So let's do a little back story. So I have a 2016 Kia Soul and out of all cars my car make and model HAD to be the one that has the blower motor not under the glove compartment of the passenger side(like most cars) but under the side of the driver's side which is a pain to do (so I've been told). I have seen varies YouTube videos and a few auto shops that have said that on average it takes up to 3-4 hours of labor just to get it done. My husband called around and asked for quotes on how much they will charge for a new blower motor and for labor. They were practically telling us it'll be around $800-$900+ to do just cuz the labor on it is so tedious. We were literally a few days away just to pull the trigger on spending that much money. But luckily it seems like our guardian angels were with us that day when my husband decided to browse online one more time and came across Swiftgirl AC. Pedro knew exactly what my husband was talking about and said if we bought the parts he'll do the labor for $180. Like what? So immediately my husband said okay is there any other parts we should get that accompanies the blower motor and he suggested the resistor. So we bought the parts online which came out to be $190 with tax and shipping. And as soon as we got the parts the following days later we headed over to the shop ASAP. My husband and I feel like Pedro is an honest mechanic who knows exactly what he's talking about and does not try to use and abuse his knowledge and suck you up dry. He made sure to diagnose our car first just to make sure it wasn't anything else. This by the way was free of charge other places wanted to charge us $200 just to diagnose it. Did I mention it only took him about 1.5 hours to work on the car. Now our car is freezing cold I can't complain. Pedro was very pleasant to work with easy to communicate and conversate with. I brought my 10th gen, 2016 Honda Civic here in Feb, 2022 to repair my broken AC. Any 10th gen civic driver knows that this generation is notorious for AC's breaking down prematurely. I had so many questions, and the owner, Pedro, answered all my questions. I have since moved to Dallas, Texas in May, where the heat has been 100deg + for a month straight, and my AC is working strong/ice cold as ever. My AC gave out a week ago. I called Honda World Downey to ask if there were any recent recalls on AC systems. They said yes and that I can take my car in for a diagnosis to confirm if the components failing were part of the recall. This has happened before and they fix it for free. I went in today and they told me the last time I was there they recommended I replace the evaporator because it was leaking. A $1900 cost!!! They said that was likely the cause of my AC failing this time around. They didn't run a diagnosis at all. I took my car back and immediately requested quotes on yelp. This business was the first one to reply! The great reviews plus the great customer service I received from Adriana over chat brought me here. Adriana said that dealerships usually misdiagnose. In this case they didn't even bother running a diagnosis. She was right! Memo took in my car and ran a diagnosis. Turns out it was my compressor!!! When I went to pick up my car, he showed me my old compressor and explained what went wrong. Showed me the camera he used to check for a leak in the evaporator. There was no leak!!!!!
