I've randomly stopped in this place 4 times in the last 5 years and the owner told me the same EXACT lie on every occasion. No matter what I ask for upon entering, he claims "You're a day late and a dollar short. I just sold that yesterday! Got paid well too." No joke, he told me this 4 times in a row, years apart, regardless of the item I make up. It's sad too because the place would be great if the people running it were actual business-people and not ego-crazy hoarders who just happen to own a storefront. read more

This place does have some legitimate items. Unfortunately, they're way overpriced. The owner and his wife do not want to hear that. A lot of their items are pirated. They will give you a new word for it but a lot of items signs which they sell for $300 to $400 Are brand new remakes from India. They won't tell you where they order them from. The businesses along side R&R can't stand him. Way overpriced. Owner exaggerates value on everything and is not a friendly person. His wife is no better.Stay away from this place. read more

this merchant is an habitual liar, he was screaming at me at the top of his lungs. He threatened me literally right in my face. He sold me 10 rings marked .925, when I got home and tested it, 8 had been fake silver, another words they were copper. I don't think you should buy silver from this crazy man, that constantly yelled he tested it himself, which is an absolute lie! He would not let me show him, which I could have easily had shown him , because I had my testers! He also made an anti semetic remark against Jews, of which I am! Every word out of his mouth is that he just sold 60,000 worth 50,000 worth 800,000 worth it really gets ridiculous! He said he's doing this a lot longer than me at least 10 times, but he would not submit to the silver test, and if he did test them self, and they came up silver there's something wrong with this guy, because I know my stuff! read more

Came to his location 3 years ago and the person working was moderately pleasant and unalarming. Went again this week with my 12 year old son. Different story- guy working the toys side walked in on my son in the restroom and instead of quickly leaving, lingered for a few moments, making my child uncomfortable. On top of that, instead of helping find an item I was looking for, directed me to a clustering of similar items ( some of which were out of reach, and I'm 5'11") and showed no concern for assisting. Additionally, he did not have any comics of Andy consequence, and seemed very proud about telling me of a $60k sale he made the prior week. Very odd and uncomfortable vinbe in this store. If you are cisiting myrtle beach and like collecting records, GO HERE. the other shop in town does not have 1/100 of the albums this guys has. You could spend a week digging here. More vinyl than i have ever seen in one location. Owner cares about making relationships not sales. I bought 21 records, all rare, all in decent shape. I got a signed barry white and a mobile fidelity beatles abby road and a beatles white album (white vinyl) and many black sabbath and judas priest. Be smart and spend time here. I went to the other shop in town. Trust me when i say, no comparison on selection. You will find a gem in here. read more

Cool store. Lots of good stuff. Most of the Hot Wheels are from nineties and newer. But like the other person that wrote a review said, nothing is priced and the owner/manager is kind of a pushy jerk. If you have hours to debate the price of everything you want to buy, go for it. I'd rather walk in and at least have a clearly marked jumping off point. Kept hounding me repeatedly, verging on being downright rude, said it was all for charity but also seemed super slimy/scammy. Dirty place to find stuff. Records packed everywhere, dirty display, some even warped or severely damaged. I saw bugs crawling in a pile too in a filthy back room. Selling them for extremely expensive prices is not a plus, either. Consistently promised to find me an item yet never remembered me the next day. Did not like the customer service as I found the two people there to be rude and checking online market value for some items did not impress me. Overall, it was dirty and though it had some neat things, I would not recommend it compared to the record stores and antique markets in our area. I say save your money and buy an item that is in working condition, clean, and affordable, trust me, with all the antique markets in this town and other record joints you will definitely find the item you are looking for elsewhere in better quality and price. Lots of stuff. Mostly old NASCAR, Hot Wheels, etc. The place is chock full so good luck finding anything quickly. It also has no A/C...a big mistake at the beach. Nothing is priced so you have to ask about everything...a real pain. And here's the worst part: They just look up the price on ebay! And of course they look up the selling prices...NOT what has sold...that is the true value. There are no deals here and I caught the guy in several lies (like ebay taking 30%...I sell on ebay and they and Paypal only take about 13% combined). Looking up the prices gives the guy plenty of time to hard sell you on how good a deal you're getting from buying from him...but save your time and money. Anything you want is on-line and probably cheaper and easier than dealing with these guys. read more

I purchase a lot from here. Mostly old Nascar diecast but he has many Hotwheels, old records, magazines and baseball cards. I know the prices of what diecast cars are going for and he is always fair to me. I have also sold old Barbie dolls and Boyds Bears and i received more money than i thought i would have gotten. the owner and his wife who has a store next door are extremely nice and they do not stand over you and watch you "which bothers me". I like my space and if i have questions ill ask. It is true he does not have prices on his stuff but if you are into this type of stuff you have an idea of asking prices. read more
