I completely lost trust with this company. I had an appointment for heater maintenance not too long ago. The technician stated everything was running okay except for the blower wheel. He said that it is completely dirty and needed immediate attention to be cleaned or else my system will not run correctly. I was given a quote and he asked if I wanted it done the same day. He did not show any pictures or anything to support his reasoning. I declined the service because I got a new system less than a year ago. I got a second opinion from a different company. The technician took out the blower wheel, took it out and showed it to me. It was not dirty just a few specks of dust. That was all! It was not in a condition where it was dirty and required immediate attention as stated from the tech from this company. This is very upsetting because the fact that the technician lied and just wanted to take advantage of making money. Do your research and hire a reliable and honest business! read more

For customers looking to use this company for a new system I would look elsewhere. I had a new system installed by Cool Air Solutions less than three years ago. Since then, I have had nothing but trouble. My AC system recently failed due to a refrigerant leak coming from a poorly brazed copper joint behind the AC unit outside. This failure was due to poor workmanship during the installation. The quality of work performed by this company is just not very good. See photographs of their poor workmanship. The most recent problem was right before the last heatwave. I turned on the system however it would no longer cool the house. I contacted Cool Air Solutions for a service call. Their tech came out and suggested a leak test on the system due to low refrigerant. This required adding dye to the system and recharging it with new refrigerant to get the system to cool again. I paid the service fee which was $845 for 4 pounds of refrigerant and the labor for the recharge. I was told leaks do happen and he suspected it could be anywhere in the system including from the new equipment itself. After a few days, I discovered the leak was not coming from the equipment but instead it was a brazed copper joint on the larger vapor refrigerant line behind the unit. The leak was very obvious as there was a large amount oily residue behind the unit and the soil around it. Cool Air Solutions acknowledged the poor workmanship and returned to fix the leak. When asked about reimbursement for the initial service call to recharge the system, they cited because I was not enrolled in their maintenance plan and was out of warranty, I would not be reimbursed. I have a hard time accepting this argument. Again, this leak should have never happened if their installers took their time and did the job correctly during the initial installation. A few other issues were also discovered over this period. These included them damaging a wire in the wall which almost caused a fire behind the new fuse disconnect box they installed. This caused them to replace the breaker in my service panel to a lower amperage and they simply left the box with the burn markings on the wall and just backed out the screw. Also, two of the manual dampers in the air ducts were also installed backwards. When switched to open they are actually closed. Also during brazing of the copper refrigerant lines, they did not protect the plastic platform causing it to melt and it left some indentations. Again, this to me is simply poor workmanship where they install these systems as fast as they can and go on to the next one. This is unacceptable as these systems are very expensive and future customers should be aware. read more

I've owned my current home since it was built in 2020 and have been a member of Cool Air Solutions routine maintenance program for nearly a decade, partnering with them across multiple properties over the years. Because of that long-standing relationship, this experience has been especially disappointing. My recent experience has been deeply frustrating and is ongoing despite my various attempts at resolution. Communication from Selina and Jorge has been inconsistent and slow, with follow-ups requiring repeated outreach on my end. As of this review, I am still awaiting return correspondence that was requested more than 72 hours ago. More concerning is the lack of accountability. Responsibility for ongoing HVAC issues has been repeatedly shifted to the builder or manufacturer, despite prior diagnoses acknowledging a known defective component that is still awaiting manufacturer revision and replacement. To add to that, I was charged a trip fee for a part that was installed less than one year ago and should fall under warranty per the company's own contractual agreement! Rather than proactively addressing this, I've had to request invoice reviews and clarifications after receiving multiple, conflicting bills. At this point, the issue is no longer just the HVAC system. It's the process. Clear answers are avoided, documentation is incomplete unless specifically requested, and the burden is placed on the homeowner to chase resolution. I expect transparency, clear communication, and accountability from a licensed HVAC company, especially one servicing long-term customers. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience here. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves both internal communication and customer service practices. read more

Unfortunately this company quoted us for work that was already done. We were on their year membership plan and paid to have a medical grade filter installed to help with our air quality, when that was installed they also installed a thermostat. The problem was this thermostat did not work with the air purifier. This (Google Nest) thermostat did not run a "circulation fan" setting. Only included a manual option so the tech should have known that the $600 air purifier was not going to work with the new thermostat they installed. The cost for installation of the Nest thermostat was 3x's the cost of the thermostat at Lowe's. We understand the charge for labor but 1 hour tops and no discount with a yearly membership did not feel worth the install. We understand people make mistakes but this thermostat was an item that they mentioned we should switch to and had it already in the truck ready to go so we felt they should have known this would defeat the purpose of the new air filter. The techs are all really nice guys, the office staff has always been professional but I feel being quoted for work that was already done and given the excuse "we quoted you for a job that costs around the same amount because that's how we have to invoice it" sounds like we were being scammed. We ended up canceling our membership, and went with a different company who has been transparent and totally honest. read more

A few days ago I called them to diagnose an issue for my other rental property, they came out but I was not able to answer the phone in time to give authorization for the repair due to a family emergency, so they charged me nearly $100 for the service call. The next day I called them and scheduled the repair that following day, only to find out they charged me for the repair and for the service call, most companies will deduct the cost of the service call and apply it to the repair cost, but not these folks. I called and explained myself to a guy named "George" but he did not care about my emergency and would not "waive" or even credit the service call towards the repair bill, he told me it was "unfair" to other customers and there was nothing he could do. Our home air conditioner went out 5pm on a Sunday 8/17. My wife and I we're like great we're screwed its going be over 100 degrees all week good luck trying to find someone at this time on a Sunday....Well we were fortunate enough to stumble across Cool Air Solutions We called about 6pm and low and behold the gal (forgot her name) answered the call and was friendly and genuinely concerned about us. She set up an appointment next day 8/18 for 3pm which we accepted. On 8/18 we were sweating bullets in the house and dying without the A/C around 2pm we got notified that Issac will be coming to service us and he can arrive earlier than the original time because he was available. We said absolutely send him over. We got an email with a picture of Issac and a little bio about him so we knew who we were expecting which was nice. We were a little reluctant at first because Issac looked so young and only had two year experience. However, we were totally blown away with Issac. Issac was professional, knowledgeable, and so friendly we actually enjoyed having him so much we wanted him to stay over for dinner. About 30 minutes into the job Issac announced his supervisor would be stopping by to check on things and make sure all was good. Issac supervisor Jorge stopped over about 15 minutes later and was also friendly, respectful, and professional. It was awesome having both guys over because my system needed some work and both of them got to work immediately diagnosing the problem and explaining in great detail with pictures what issues we were having. We went over prices which was we felt were fair and also they offer a a monthly club membership for $14.95 to discount the overall cost of repair and service the system when needed at future discount prices! Nice! We signed up for it. Issac and Jorge got to work and was able to fix our A/C in about 2 hours these guys saved our lives. But most importantly, he got along with and was not intimidated by my large German Shepard dog. I had the same experience Joe D. expressed in his review dated 2/24/2025. I had a routing service call on 3/10/2025 and was also told the heat exchanger on my heating unit was cracked. The unit was red tagged and shut down. I was quoted $3,600-$4,400 to repair the heat exchanger or they could send someone out to give an estimate on a new unit. I called for a second opinion. This HVAC company found no damage to the heat exchanger and advised my system was operating in good condition. Beware of upselling from this company. I will be giving my future business to the honest company that gave me the second opinion. read more

If you deal with this company, you better hide your wallet. All they try to do is sell you a replacement unit or a high cost repair. During a routine annual service call, I was told the heat exchanger on my heater was cracked. The heater was "RED TAGGED" and shut down. The office folks told me that since the heater was 20 years old, it would be best to install a new system rather than make a repair. Also, a heater exchanger may not be available to fit the current unit. When a tech arrived at the house, he went into the internet and immediately found a heater exchanger to fit my system at the low cost of $3,500.00. I had a second Heat and Air company confirm the damage to the heat exchanger. They found none. It only cost me $150.00 for the second opinion and the truth. read more
