We decided to clean up the area so we could host an important family event, and our search led to Gio and his team. He responded quickly, and we discussed what we were looking for in re-purposing the rear 1/3 of our property. He described his vision and methods, and provided a very reasonable quote. We decided to move forward, and we left it up to him to provide and plant what was needed to create a perfect space that was both functional for entertainment and really pleasant to just relax and enjoy. Gio and his team did not disappoint. He met (and exceeded) our expectations, and stuck to the schedule and budget. And he didn't just create planter areas and new lawn, he also installed a paver walkway to match our existing patio stones. When he was finished with the original scope, he offered to maintain the rear yard to make sure our investment (and his hard work) would continue to look as good as the day he finished. He is not a typical "mow-blow-& go" gardening service. When he and his team arrive, they look around, see whatever needs care and attention, make everything right, and leave every inch of the yard neatly trimmed and clean. We are looking forward to asking Gio and his team to re-imagine and transform the side and front landscaped areas of our home. We can't recommend him enough.

When I spoke to Mario, he was friendly, incredibly responsive via text, and willing to help me for a fair price on the same day. Really good guy. He even came out while I was and did the work. After reviewing his work, I pod him via Zelle. The product he used was very good quality. I really appreciated the entire experience and therefore, strongly recommend him for your home. He requested a large sum for the initial clean up, feeding of plants and more, I agreed. The Initial clean up was done very poorly and when I messaged him the day after he was full of excuses. So I cleaned it all up myself. Keep in mind I agreed to the large sum for the initial service as a part of the promise that he will come to service our property. He never showed up. If I could give less than one star on the review trust me I would. He is not accountable or reliable in my opinion.

Luis wants guaranteed business by charging a monthly fee to show up 2x/month year round. However, for simple lawn/hedge trimming and leaf clean-up, the amount he charges does not make sense. We struck a deal with him for ad hoc service, because nothing grows in the dry months of summer. However, we had a "no-call, no-show" during the rainy season when he had told us multiple weeks in a row that he would come by. When he finally showed up weeks later, he decided to charge us TWICE for overgrowth. Had he shown up the first time he said he would, that would not have happened. It seems he decided our business was no longer worth his time, so he decided to extract the most cash he could from us before we moved on. Needless to say, I cannot recommend Lona's to anyone after this experience.

On the day of the service, he gave me a heads up that he was running a little late, and adjusted the start time which he did keep. Please don't hold that against him! As a person, he is very polite, attentive to any concerns you may have, and overall seems like a very kind hearted individual. He was working with his Father, and had a couple of gentlemen to stop by to help pick up some of the heavier items.
