Do not use this company…read more First, this review does not apply to John R. at this company- he was great to work with and did his best to help us. We used First Painting for our interior job, the house was empty when they came in to paint, so there were no obstacles in their way. From start to finish this was a horrible experience. I sent very detailed paint choices as directed, and when I came to check on the house realized multiple instances of the color being wrong. At the same time I noted how messy the job was looking. We notified the company and they said they agreed, and they would "fix it". Upon the company finishing the job, we found white paint throughout the ENTIRE house. Paint spray, drips, and shoe prints everywhere. We had just refinished our floors and they are completely ruined. The paint job was incredibly messy. There is the previous paint color poking through in multiple places. The bathrooms have paint all over the tile, looks like no care was taken there. There is one wall that wasn't painted at all. They painted over old command strips on the wall. I could not believe the condition of the house. We notified the company and asked for a price adjustment. Instead -on two separated occasions someone showed up at our door to "fix it" without any notification. When we told them it was not a good time we were met with attitude and frustration from the receptionist, she claimed she had emailed us. She never did. After deciding we did not trust this company enough to come in to correct this job (and would have required us moving all of our furniture again right after moving in), we received a couple hundred dollars off our bill. I cannot believe we paid what we did for the job. Do not use.

The very next morning, as promised, a tech rang me first thing to let me know they were on the way. Aiden and his assistant not only did an excellent job cleaning my gutters, but took pictures and video of trouble spots and a soffit that had some damage. Aiden explained what was causing the problem and provided some potential solutions. They then did a fantastic job cleaning up and even cleared off my entire deck! It has been a long time, since I have experienced such professional and outstanding customer service!!! I would not hesitate to use this company again in the future (and plan to)!!! Their website claims that their mission is to "treat their customers and each other as family"... and based on what I have experienced thus far, they are living their mission!!! DO NOT USE THEM IF YOU HAVE A SPECIFIC PROBLEM. THEY SEEK ACCESS TO YOUR HOUSE TO TELL YOU YOU NEED THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS OF REPAIRS. I got to explain it every time i applied for something, i had excellent credit other than them. So they got free advertising. Especially when it's at my expense. Allison has cleaned for me a number times over the years and her cleaning is by far the better of anybody else that I have hired. Also by using the same person over and over again you develop a trust that makes you not believe or even consider asking them if they know about anything missing. So when you go on a website looking for what you may be missing and you find this person that you have built a trusting relationship has not only lied to you, but has also stolen your belongings. I think that the first time Allison cleaned for me was in 2007. I have used three other Cleaning companies one time each and haven't ever even thought something was missing. I am shocked that someone that has worked for me for this long has done this to me. But you live and you learn. So beware out there if you hire detailed cleaning for your needs, I would highly recommend going elsewhere.
