I was rear-ended by a drunk driver while stopped at a red light on a highway exit. I have clear phone footage of him admitting fault and even attempting to bribe me on camera. When I contacted the firm, they told me I had a strong case and advised me to seek immediate medical treatment, which I did through a chiropractor they were familiar with. However, the other driver then made a completely false statement to his insurance company, claiming I reversed into him -- on a highway exit -- which makes no sense. Despite having video proof of his intoxication and admission, the attorneys told me the footage "wasn't enough" due to my past accident history even though most were not my fault including the last case they handled or my personal past. Instead of fighting harder, they pivoted and focused solely on building a personal injury claim by pushing me to continue chiropractic treatment. Eventually, they said the case would have to go to trial, but that doing so could backfire because opposing counsel might bring up my personal life and past. After that, communication changed. For months, I was ignored -- no updates, no responses to emails. Then out of nowhere, nearly a year later, I received a cold, generic letter stating they were dropping my case. The next day, I heard from the chiropractor that the attorneys had notified him too. I was left with a $5,000 medical bill for treatment they advised me to undergo -- now with no support, no closure, and no justice. This entire experience has been traumatizing. I was the victim of a drunk driver, with clear evidence, yet I ended up being abandoned and blamed, and now I'm being forced to pay out of pocket for following my attorney's guidance.
