Best pedicure of my life, massage included. Gel polish still looks fresh over 2 weeks later. The nail design I chose was a no-brainer to them and executed my vision perfectly. Today was the first time I ever went to R Nails. My first impression was that it looked pretty nice and there were many, many colors to choose from. It went downhill from there. The man that was doing my pedicure was coughing all over my feet, calves, and knees. Coughing so hard that I could feel it!! He kept doing it! Never covering his mouth. Finally, I think a co-worker told him to cover his mouth so he did once (hard to tell it wasn't in English). Then he continued to cough on my legs as I hid behind my phone, holding my breath and closing my eyes. It was horrible and not a good experience. As far as the $55 pedicure went - he really put a lot of muscle into massaging my right foot and then hardly did the left foot. Same with the leg. Very strange. I don't know how long the polish will hold up - it is too soon to tell but I definitely will never step foot in that place again. I have visited this place twice. Once last year and today. I only come to town to visit family and rarely need nail services. This place is down the street and since I have no regular nail tech I decided to try this place. The first time I visited I had acrylic nails and needed a gel fill in. After already sitting down and having my nails started by a woman there, a man- could be the owner, stops her to tell me that gel is $30. I knew what the prices were and just wanted my service done. The lady was nice and we talked the entire time. The man insisted I pay before my service was done.... Fast forward to today, I go in there with my mom to get a regular manicure. I also had a regular gel manicure that I needed removed. The same man greets me but is quiet rude the entire time. Besides us there is a Caucasian woman in the salon as well. She's getting a pedicure and finishes before I do. They greet her well and charge at the end before she leaves. On the other hand, this man barely says anything to me and then tells me I need to pay before he finishes. I was hesitant to ask why if he didn't ask that of the other young lady but I just paid. He didn't even try to say anything as I left after we were done. Lastly, this time around I noticed that to clean off nail tools all they did was scrub them with a brush at the sink. I didn't notice this last time and wouldn't have came back if I did. I'm use to the nail techs opening a new pack and I did not like that. I will not be returning here and I do not recommend. I don't understand why the first and second time I was the only one having to pay for my nails ahead of time and being reminded of the prices each time and not out of courtesy! Every time I walked in there I was polite to everyone. My usual salon in Atlanta is a luxury nail spa where frankly the services and prices are higher! All I wanted was a simple manicure in a small town but apparently if you don't look like a certain race no matter how well dressed and well spoken you are, they think you can't pay and won't speak to you decently. read more

Dont have a Walk-ins Welcome sign up and then turn people away. And on top of it..be rude to people just walking in. It was my first time coming in, it was just a fill, and i will not be back because of that. Not everyone can make appointments due to crazy schedules so walk-ins a needed. read more

Just love this place been here three times now and every time has been great I've got a Mani & Pedi my feet just feel absolutely wonderful when I get done and my nails look just great I recommend this place to anyone and everyone and the prices aren't bad the only thing is sometimes there's a wait but you got a wait for a good job read more

The only thing I get done is spa pedicure, and here they are *incredible* with multiple menu options including different essential oils, scrubs and masks. Heavenly. Not inexpensive. But if you're going for the spa relaxation experience when you do a pedi, this is the one! Anywhere else I go I feel disappointed compared to R nails for the spa pedis. read more

I come here often but the past few times I have been disappointed in the service. Their prices recently went up too cause a mani pedi is normally about $85 bucks well this time is was $110! The powder/ dip I got started chipping the next day and today, only a few days later not even a full week one of them broke off from my nail completely! the. To top it off she was handling 3 customers at the same time, had my nails soaking in acetone for 10 mins. My fingers started to burn. I'm also pregnant! It was getting close to closing and she was still accepting appointments and walk ins in a very busy store already. I think she bit off more than she can chew that day. It still. Vacationing in LaPorte, I booked mani/pedi's for my daughter, niece, and myself. They couldn't have been nicer, and did an excellent job (though I felt my feet could've used a little more attention). For 37 I got the works or at least that's how it felt. I highly recommend you give them a chance. Would NOT recommend R Nails, especially if you are looking for a nail appointment for prom or a wedding. Over a month before my wedding day, I called R Nails and apparently booked an appointment for my bridal party of 6 ladies. I was assured that all 6 ladies would be able to come in at a designated time and that the appointment take about an hour or so. I called another few times to confirm and was again reassured that R Nails would be prepared. When I walked in at the designated time the day before my wedding, there was absolutely no recognition of my appointment. There were two people working and both were occupied with other customers. When I told them I had spoken with both of them and had made an appointment, they said that they don't do appointments, hadn't written anything down, and certainly couldn't do 6 ladies within an hour. When I brought up repeatedly that they had reassured me of my appointment multiple times on the phone, they both wouldn't look up from their work and would not say anything further. No apology, no recognition of their lies, and no attempt to make the situation better. I'd never been to this place before, and I certainly will never go and would not recommend this to anyone. We ended up going to C&K nails without appointments and were treated much better there. read more
