As an adult, I keep track of my appointments and dont want to be infantilized. If you don't confirm an appointment by the time they want, they will cancel your slot and make you an 'anytime appointment'. I understand needing a schedule, but I really dont like threats. Additionally, they just didn't show up for an appointment they pestered me about and when i contacted them at 6pm, i got an 'oopsie' reply from a third party person who said i'd be contacted by the office. That was several months ago so.... All in all I just didn't appreciate how I was treated.

I reached out to Rodent Retreat specifically because they are a local veteran-owned business, not a franchise. The whole team was amazing. I was able to schedule an inspection right away, and the gentleman who came explained different options to humanely remove the raccoon and prevent any other critters (including field mice and roof rats) from getting to the house. Based on the services I selected, they came back several times to repair the eaves, seal up possible points of entry on the roof and around the foundation, set rodent traps in the attic and garage, and sanitize the attic. Everyone I dealt with was incredibly friendly and polite, communication was exceptional, and pricing is very reasonable, especially given the high quality of service. They really went above and beyond. I highly recommend Rodent Retreat!

Now as long as their work is okay then at least you got something in return for the $$$ you paid, but that is not the case. I fell for the fear bait and the service I got was not at all worth the price. They constantly missed sealing spots that the sales person said and after I asked multiple times did a half effort to seal it which resulted in absolutely 0 rodents or animals removed or captured. Then randomly my biweekly check ups just stopped happening and they ghosted me. When I confronted management after a few months of no response they offered to pay for me to keep my mouth shut and offered a contract for me to sign that I wouldn't make a bad review or tell anyone. Of course I did not sign and called my bank for a refund. Please be aware that they don't have worse reviews because they'll pay and give you a binding contract to keep your mouth shut. We called them for an inspection after a roof repair a few years ago, and they came right out. We lost our contact and missed a couple of inspections. In June we heard a noise and called the office. We discussed the warranty issue, paid for the inspection, and they quickly sent out Raul to perform an inspection. During the inspection, Raul found a recurring problem area where the flashing pulled up at a roof return. He made the repair and set traps. Raul came out a few days later, and all was clear. Omega performs quality work and honors their warranty. I suggest that when you use them that you put an annual reminder in your calendar to schedule annual inspections.

He came out with his partner and was kind, patient, knowledgeable and very hardworking. He had a very calming presence which kept us from spiraling and assuming the worst. He communicated with us well (we were on vacation ourselves!) and kept us updated on all of the progress. They were also so sweet with our little kids who were at home. Christian and his partner were in our attic for approximately two and a half hours, crawling through insulation then ultimately used their thermal equipment to locate Mowgli. My husband and I genuinely felt like these guys were committed and went out of their way to help us in an emergency situation. Wildlife X Team was an absolute nightmare--unresponsive, ineffective, unprofessional, and completely lacking in accountability. I initially paid them to handle a rat problem in my attic, only to be left with the same issue and an even bigger headache. After multiple visits, the issue was never resolved. The technician who was supposed to be my point of contact stopped responding, and when I finally reached him, he told me he no longer worked for the company. When I tried contacting the main office via email and phone, I was met with silence. With no response from the company, I submitted a credit card dispute and forgot about it. When I finally got a hold of someone (after being criticized for using the very email address listed on my invoice and their email signature), they sent out another representative. Instead of actually addressing the problem, he provided a new estimate for $21,000--a staggering price for a job they should have already completed. Management was rude, dismissive, and completely unaccountable throughout every interaction. They were difficult to work with from start to finish, showing no real interest in resolving the issue. The office manager eventually agreed to issue a refund and wrote me a check--but it was rejected by the bank. Had the check cleared, I would have canceled the credit card dispute. Instead, when they found out about the dispute, the office manager called me, yelled at me, and was downright degrading. It was beyond unprofessional and only confirmed how poorly this company is run. Rather than deal with their incompetence any longer, I hired a local vendor who completely resolved the issue for just $273.63. Wildlife X Team is a rip-off. They overcharge, underdeliver, ignore their customers, and treat them with outright disrespect. Save yourself the frustration and go with a reputable local business like Pest Pro, Terminix, or literally anyone else.
