All my tune-ups at Pedalinx were professionally done. Pedalinx service has always been friendly and great. Getting the tune-up this year was complicated by Covid 19; demand for bike tune-ups this year went through the roof. I had to wait more than a month for my scheduled tune-up. But the shop did a fantastic tuneup job on my dura ace road bike, and in 1 day! Pedalinx is one of the best bike shops.

The customer service is consistently disappointing. Staff rarely makes eye contact, there is little to no acknowledgment when customers enter the store, and basic courtesies such as greeting customers or providing updates on wait times are completely absent. It is extremely inefficient and disorganized. What makes the experience particularly frustrating is that there can be only a couple of customers in the store while several employees are on the floor, yet it can still take 30 minutes to an hour just to get someone's attention or speak with a staff member. During these waits, there is often no communication, no indication of who is being helped next, and no confirmation that anyone will be assisting you. As a family that loves biking and has invested a lot of time and money on our bikes, it's so frustrating to get it serviced at this location and will be looking at going elsewhere.

I am a proud Fauxleton owner which means I purchased a used spin bike and use it in conjunction with the Peloton app (DM me about this because it's a great hack for someone how wants to be part of the Pelo Fam without the hefty price tag!). The bike I purchased came with cage pedals which means you can use regular running shoes that slide in to a cage to keep your feet in place. Now for someone with minimal spinning experience, this was fine for me at first. But as I did more research on the benefits of spin and started taking it more seriously, I determined it was time to upgrade the pedals to clip ins. I am lucky to have a friend that was able to recommend not only Cyclepath but also the specific pedals I needed. I wanted dual SPD's so that I could clip in on one side, but that someone without cleats could use the bike on the other side. Cyclepath has developed an online shopping experience during COVID and offered curbside pick up. The pedals were in stock, and comparably at a decent price. I ordered them online and they were ready for pickup a few days later. The pedals were exactly as described, easy to install, and have worked wonderfully for me! I hope to shop inside Cyclepath one day and get lost in all things cycling.

They're very accommodating and they really know their products. The stores carries a wide selection of bikes from road bike to mountain bike. They carry Mostly Giant and Trek bicycles. I've been cycling for over 30 years and Peter and his mechanic are the easiest guys to talk to. I never felt pressured to buy a bike, but when I made the decision to buy Peter gave me a great deal. The bike was ready when he said it would be and his mechanic fit the bike to match my body. My new bike has exceeded my expectations and I look forward to many more years of cycling enjoyment.

I ended up coming to Van de Velo after I was turned away from another bike shop because they didn't have the tube that I needed.  Since I was already out and had my bike with me, I decided to head here after confirming they had a tube. On their website, appointments are required, but I was happy they had time to accommodate me. Solved my issue at a reasonable rate, so I'm happy!  I was afraid that I'd hafta head to a park and take a walk, but I literally waited 10mins for the repair.  Good as new! Shop is owned by a couple, so I was happy to support a small business.  :)

I had the person change my roadbike's chain and adjust gears and he only took $30 bucks. You may think if the bike mechanic isn't charging much, he is probably not a professional. But that's not the case either, he has actually taken courses in bike repair (building wheel etc) and knows his shit. My gears have never shifted this better, he also fixed my breaks and adjusted the rear deraiuler, "I saw your derailuer was bent and your breaks were kinda misalligned, i fixed them too". We had just replaced my wife's Specialized bike (had to go into the U.S. to find exactly the same bike) that was stolen so I wanted to "keep up" with a new bike of my own. One of the sales staff, Derry, was really helpful and being a serious rider himself, was able to find me a Specialized bike that was exactly what I was looking for. We have been back in a number of times to get outfitted and all the staff at the store we have talked to, like Ryan, are all serious riders and very helpful and enthusiastic. Great experience!

This place completely and utterly destroyed my bike. I brought mine in for a simple tuneup, and they called me to suggest changing the pedals. I agreed. And within 1 hour of my first bike ride the pedals slowly fell off and it destroyed my crank arm and front chain wheel. My god! After bringing my bike back they very reluctantly agreed to fix it but replaced my very good chain wheel with a chain wheel you'd get in a cereal box. My bike has never functioned so poorly in the years I've owned it. Very incompetent staff. I just wanted a simple tune up and I got back a bike with lesser parts that functions significantly worse than it ever had.

My bike required some mineral hydraulic brake oil as it was low . But during these times were in right now with COVID these bicycles shops are all out if stock of not only bikes but almost anything you require including some bike shops like Cyclepath in Brampton closing down after 40 yrs in business , things have really been tough for some of these business , I also found that most of the bike shops in peeel also had majorly reduced hours, except Trek . After many calls Trek had the oil I required so I drove down to pick it up at there mississauga location just east of Winston Churchill on Dundas . This is a fairly new and large location that they openmed up recently. Seems like they had a good selection and variety of there Trek brand bikes and a great selection of parts and accessories for bikes , most bike related items . They also have nike techs on staff to do any tuning or bike repairs you require. They were friendly professional and helped me in a quick manner. Nice knowledgable staff , as I had some questions and they seem to really know there stuff there. I really recomend this store and just earned me as a new loyal customer. They seem to have most things in stock and an amazing variety of tools that I have not seen at other bike shops. Great experience and I got my oil.
