Before this RaceTrac opened, this area of Clermont/Groveland had no choices for food. Even delivery was difficult. We had one sad gas station that looks like it should be condemned with ridiculously high gas prices. Now there is a bright and shiny new one stop convenience store. AND it's open 24 hours a day. The food offered is amazing with a COFFEE BAR!, PIZZA!, chicken, hot and cold sandwiches, a hot dog roller grill spinning 24-7, a frozen yogurt buffet, an enormous candy selection and all the chips and snacks you could ever want. The coolers are huge and have all the beverages. There is also a fountain area with sodas and frozen concocts. The restrooms are sparkling clean. There's an indoor and outdoor seating area and a complete truck stop with diesel pumps and scales. I stopped in to fuel up the Jeep with 93 Octane, the prices are competitive although competitive these days is not the bargain it was as recent as a year ago. The fuel islands appeared to be well maintained and the pumps functioned as designed, the printer at the pump worked fine. Anyone driving across 27 can attest the traffic can be horrendous, this area has seen extraordinary growth over the past decade and what once were orange groves have been transitioned into housing developments so with the heavy traffic the easiest way to enter this location is from the rear, then exit directly on to Hwy. 27. I had no interaction with the staff since I paid at the pump. There was a lot of traffic in and out of the parking lot, it seems this location is a very popular destination, I'm sure during peak travel hours this place could become quite congested... read more

I had a bizarre experience here! I started to pump my gas and the hose fell from where it is connected to the pump and started spraying gas all over the place. Another customer hit the emergency shut off. The manager came out and asked if I had videotaped the incident. I said no, and he started yelling at me for not videotaping it. I am still in shock that a a manager would come out yelling at a customer for not videotaping their pump sprayed gas all over the place. Attached is the photo which he clearly saw. read more

Friendly staff, and multiple flavors of tea! We tried the blueberry hibiscus! It's an unsweetened tea. They had mango also. I don't remember the other flavors, but check out the tea area. Great staff. All are friendly. read more

I've been to a few racetracs and they're usually decent -good fresh coffee all the time, clean, friendly helpful employees, good selection of snacks and drinks. THIS ONE is stellar. Self-serve for-yo with terrific toppings and a much nicer store layout. One complaint: lots of people working, but only one cashier so our for-yo was all melted by the time we could eat it -fro-yo is pay by weight. At this time thirty-nine cents per ounce. This place gives me good gas for a good price. Nothing else I ask of it and it's just what I need it to be!

The reason why I provided such a poor rating is not due to the gas station and or the prices and or up keep of the gas station it's self... It all looks and is fine. The reason for the poor rating is due to the cashier person whom thought it I was appropriate to state "you are huge, look like you are going to pop, you have two in there?" Not sure if the woman behind the register was dropped as an infant and thought it was a brilliant idea to say something like that or perhaps was looking to make someone walk out. I guess you cannot expect much from this kind of person and or being able to use common sense to not insult people that walk in to the gas station read more

Great choices for drinks however, everytime I go in there the coffee station is a filthy mess. They need to staff someone on most shifts to maintain this area along with the yogurt station. read more
