STAY AWAY FROM THESE THIEVES!! After my car broke down on…read moreHwy 27, I limped it back to this gas station to be on a safe area and grab my nieces and nephew something to drink since it was so hot at 6pm when we broke down. I was assured by a young, Spanish cashier around 8pm last night that my car was ok to leave on the side of the building, out of anyone's way, until I could have someone retrieve it for repair. I returned to find my car had been towed away. Even after she told me she was informing the next shift I was coming for it but had to get my family home out of the heat. After I asked what happened, the guy behind the counter told me there's signs that say no parking and I should not have left it. Regardless of being told it was ok or not, it doesn't matter to him who i told. When I asked for a manager or owner to contact to find out who took my car, he smirked, grabbed a business card, and tossed it to me across the counter. Then grinned and said I shouldn't have left the car. I tried calling the number multiple times, only to be answered instantly by a machine. Seemingly a fake number because all 3 numbers online are doing the same thing- no ring, straight to a machine, for a '24 hour tow company'. I'm putting this effort into this to WARN others in the area to stay away from this establishment. If you break down, they'll have somebody tow your vehicle then offer nothing for answers except smart mouth comments until management and owners are brought up. After I told him I was going to warn others of them doing shady things, he said "get out", I was angry and said "eff this", to which he responded "no eff you, get the eff out."
