Stopped by here today for a car wash and their prices have shot through the roof. Absolutely bonkers. $17 for a basic wash? No. Instead of keeping their prices at a reasonable rate they're trying to push people to get their membership to "save money" by making it ungodly expensive without one. Yeah, no. Papo's across town (like 10min) is $16 for their most expensive option. I'll be spending my money there instead. read more

I've washed my car here a few times. My only beef is with how the automatic car wash is. The ones where you have to line your tires up in the track really bug me. I have gone in these before at different places and the air valves have gotten damaged, causing my tire to go flat. I had a replacement plan on the tires for this particular car because I was stepping down from an SUV and it seemed to make sense. I swear I was replacing a tire at least once a month before that replacement plan wore out. So I've come here a few times with an SUV and not been disappointed. I think they are expensive, but it's popular opinion to just respond with "everything is expensive!" So I guess I should just shovel out my money and not complain. I just think for what I pay they could at least make sure my car wasn't dripping wet after pulling out of the wash. I want a longer session under those large air dryers or someone to do a quick towel down of my car. It doesn't have to be perfect where they open your doors. Just all the windows would be nice. It would also be nice that when my car did dry, that water spots weren't left all over the windshield. Hope this helps with your decision to come here. read more

Good car wash, very busy during weekends and warm winter days but they did a nice job on my smaller-size SUV. No damage to my back wiper which is an issue at many automatic car washes. Good, drive-thru carwash, always able to get in when I need to, never seems to be a long line. Reasonable prices, and usually friendly guy at the entrance. Quick in and out. However, the blow dryer at the end does not do a good job of actually drying the car. I always have to park across the road at Jewel to thoroughly dry it with my own microfiber towel. Really not that big of a deal, though. Biggest issue is there is no drop-box to leave keys before-hours. I had an appointment on 5/1/23 for the $265 detailing, arrived at 6:15am (have to be on a 6:30am train), had someone available to give me a ride, and there was no place to leave the keys. I left a message on their answering machine stating I'd need to reschedule and why isn't there a dropbox? But the call was never returned. Business must be good to turn down that type of job. Answering what the owner, Peter, wrote in response to my review: Agreed, the only way to thoroughy dry the car is to towel it down, I was merely pointing this out, not a big deal. I disagree with not having a dropbox, but that is the owner's perogative. HOWEVER, he DID NOT call me to reschedule. I checked my cell, office, and home phones just now for inbound calls on May 1-5, there is nothing. read more

If I could leave a review w 0 stars I would. I took my Tesla to get washed, when I'm leaving my sensors are going crazy. I got out, and the front end of my car is gone! The car washed ripped it off. I went back and told them, they found it in the car wash and acted like it wasn't a big deal. The front of my Tesla has all kinds of crazy scratches all over! I told them they needed to replace it, and he followed up with, "it was loose or it wouldn't have fallen off". No apology. No reimbursement for my car wash. Simply RUDE. I had to leave these guys a review because I have been coming here since this place was built and washing my cars and honestly there isn't another carwash like it anywhere around here especially for the $ Value package's that can clean my vehicle like it and they wipe it down afterwards with the $39.95 a month unlimited washs and you just can't beat that price they also offer custom detail work the world in a 2 car bay by appointment   Sol the on Site manager has been there as long as I can remember and has always treated me Awesome friendly and Jimmy the same always with a smile too I can't say enough about these guys. There always hustling and making it happen and my car is "always" clean when I leave. I can't imagine what to do without these guys quite honestly I'm lost. I was in the area earlier this week and treated my car to a wash and vacuuming at Village Car Wash. Great job! When I approached the kiosk to pay, there was a man standing there who greeted me, used my credit card to pay for the wash and thanked me for coming by that day. Nice touch. When the wash was over and I pulled up to have my car dried and vacuumed, the same man was there to help dry along with some other folks who were courteous, helpful and took extra care to make sure that the door jams were dry and that the mirrors didn't leak. I appreciated that they were quick and took great care of my car. Come to find out, the man who greeted me when I arrived was the owner. I was impressed that he took the time to interact with his customers and pitched in to help his staff dry off and finish up the cars. I'm in the Fox Lake area every now and then and will definitely be back! Five stars! read more

Do not go here! Read the other reviews posted on google. The owner is a complete jerk! I paid for the $35 wash. The receipt didn't print. When he asked for my receipt I said it didn't print but I paid $35 and had my debit acct open to show him. He basically accused me of lying as if I was trying to get a higher priced wash. Then he dried all the cars behind me and made me wait. I told him that I come there once a week and didn't appreciate the way I was being treated. Bought one month car washes but they repeatedly charged my credit card every month. My fault, I guess, for not watching my cc bill. Called to cancel, reverse charges and learned that I signed up for membership. Asked where that was posted and how was I to know? Smart-ass owner said it's not posted, i should know . Just got my car washed . Paid $30 and $6 for them to clean the mats. Door jams are still dirty. Had to ask them to clean the trim inside cause there was still mud streaks and dust . Even after she wiped it down it there was still dust in places . read more

Scheduled a detail incorrectly...my bad, but when I went in, I was told the service I wanted was 85 dollars more than what was advertised on their website. Called them on it and they agreed to do it for only 25 dollars more. Then I am called an hour later (after already having a stressful conversation with the person at the counter) to then have the owner argue with me about the price again! I am frustrated and asked if I need to come get my car and forfeit their service, which I was told I should do. When asked why the advertised price was different once I got there, I was told it wasn't my concern....Seriously! Your trying to overcharge your advertised price and it not my concern???? Then I got rude and again...my bad. Owner laughed at me when I called him out on wasting my time and I made the mistake of treating him in the same fashion. I'm not proud of how I acted even though I still feel justified. Avoid this place. The owner and staff have zero customer service skills and dont like being called out on their mistakes. I spent two decades in retail management and this is not how you treat customers. I would not have been an insufferable jerk if they had owned up to their mistake and stuck with the original compromise made when I dropped my car off, but the gamble of getting that extra 60 dollars out of me was worth losing the 200 I was going to pay. read more

every time I have come here they have done an EXCELLENT job on my vehicle. the only issue I have is one of the products they use to clean the inside of the car does give me a headache and a lump in my throat. I asked you six times for my antenna pyou refused to give it to me till the police arrived. You are a poooooooooooor businessman. Just because you have a sign does not mean it is legal. Great car wash if you do full service. They take a while to dry and clean the interior but it's worth the wait. When I just do express, they don't dry the outside so I just park across the street and dry it myself but what do expect for only $5. read more
