You could not pay me to go back here again. I had the most horrifying visit ever. Realizing it would cost me approximately $30 to wash my car in the self wash using my credit card I went to question the older employee. He began to accuse me and treat me like I was stupid and didn't know how to use the machine. I began to feel so threatened by him I actually felt the need to call the police. I kept telling him to get away from me as he was yelling at me on how payment works. I even spoke with the regional manager who seemed to not believe me. Said he has never received a complaint on him. This is the second encounter where this man has treated me like I was a stupid woman. I left with soap frozen to my car. There was no apology nothing. Basically same complaint as other recent reviews. This place was the spot to go too if you wanted to hand wash your car. Now they're basically just trying to force everyone into a membership. The cost is $5 for 3 MINUTES, yes $5 for 3 minutes and then like the owner said in his reply to the other person it's an additional .25 cents for 9 seconds after that. Do you know how insane that is? ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!! By the time it takes to go, put in a quarter, and then grab the wand/nozzle and go back to clean your car, you basically have like 1 second! Feels almost scam like now. I've been going to Wow Car Wash for quite awhile because it was clean and the price was reasonable. The price has increased substantially, must be the tariffs on water??? The other thing I've notice now when you wash your car, the 5:00 minute timer moves ridiculously fast . I have a small car and no sooner than you get half way around the car in the wash cycle the timer is asking you to add more money. So, I've emailed the Illinois Department of Weights and measurements to audit these machines. read more

THIS IS A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY. I just paid for the highest car wash and none of the dirt came off my car. It's a touchless wash, without any high powered jets. You pay $12, and they still want to charge another $2 to use the dryers. Such a rip off. read more

This place is a waste of money. Your better off hooking up the garden hose and do it yourself from home. Stopped for a quick wash of dirt and leaves and I can not believe the price for a self serve wash. $3 to start which it wastes about 10 seconds of your time getting the system ready. Doesn't seem so bad right? Well it cost .25 for 20 seconds after initial wash fee. Then switching between soap and rinse is another 20 seconds off your time. All around horrible place for quick wash. Super Wash was much better. I believe it was $1.50 to start the wash so time wasted between soap and rinse didn't really make a difference because you could still get a quick wash for $4. Decent car wash, never really busy so makes getting in and out a breeze and honestly there's nothing like an old school self wash.

If you come to this car wash and you're approached by the owner possibly or one of them I guess, (older heavy guy with gray long beard) be ready to receive the worse service possible. There were a few before but I didn't feel like writing about it. For example, I had a problem with the soap and was treated like it was my fault. Today was different all around. You should never treat your customers like they are nothing to you when we pay your wages. It's sad to think I spend $8-10 dollars at a time there in the self wash and this man wants to say your $2.00 is nothing here. Could of ended in a more positive note but it had to come here. Secondly, the amount of money we spend at this location and for the soap to still not be that great off and on is another reason. The soap is an on and off thing. You will be washing your vehicle and you will have soap coming out and next you know it, it's not. While it's just sucking up your hard earn dollars. I shouldn't be washing my car and have to wait to wash another part of my vehicle because the soap isn't out but it's still deducting time and money. I thought maybe it was just a bad day but then I see the reviews in here and it explains why. If my money isn't good here, trust me, I won't come back. This isn't how you run a business. The super was is great and all if you have time to dry off your own car. I completely forgot that this wash does not have an automatic dryer option and had to rush home to water blade and dry my car. They should definitely consider adding a 60 second dryer somehow in there read more

Your typical do it yourself carwash and does the job during the winter months. I personally feel you get more time for your quarters here than you do at most other places. For most of the time the equipment is in working order and the money exchanger always seems to be working too. The only complaint I have here is at times the soap they use does not seem to bubble up good enough and may not have the right amount of antifreeze because there are times that I've seen it actually freeze up. I was excited to hear that they took credit cards for the self service wash. When I pulled into a bay, the credit card reader didn't work. Ok no biggie, just move over to the next one. On my next attempt the card reader did work but the water sprayer only sprinkled out water no matter what setting I had on it. Also if you use your credit card, they do charge $15 up front, but refund you back. We shall see about that. read more

This place has 2 automatic bays and 5 self wash bays. Vacs are available in front of the self bays. Usually not crowded except on weekends.

This a nice car wash just don't like the fact that they took out 15$s out of my credit card when all I used up was a dollar worth

I went here to wash my car and noticed i didn't have any cash on me. Then i saw they have a machine that takes credit/debit cards, I swipe my card one time and then the machine says to press the stop button or else you will be charged $15. I did that and when the machine stopped, and i mean the one with the water and soap turned off i check the credit card machine and said my total was $1.25 I wasn't done cleaning my car so i decided to swipe my card again and finish washing my car. I finished and when the carwash machine stopped i go and check the credit card machine and it said total was either $2.48 or $3.48 i can't remember, but any ways I followed the instructions like it said on the credit card machine and when i get home i check my account like I always do, becuase I was out shopping. I have two transactions for $15.00 each. I can't believe this!!!! For this kind of money i could've gotten a complete wash and detail at full service carwash. So i call the carwash and leave a message saying what happened and hopefully they call me back and refund me the money they took. I don't know why this happened if I followed the instructions. Sitting here now the old guy working here is a total a****** wanted to get the undercarriage wash turned off for my car, he has done it for me before and sat here and argued with me for 5 minutes that he couldn't do it and finally he said well I'll step on it and let it run and then you can go through. I will never come back here again I had the undercarriage wash on my cargo Van and it blew my transmission wire all to h*** I have had transmission headaches ever since.
