Horrible service. I have attempted to use all 3 bays for the self car wash not a single side works. The water pressure is horrible, the suds and soap sprays everywhere due to the lack of maintenance. This car wash spot is extremely neglected. 0 stars wouldn't recommend. read more

NOBODY GO HERE!!! Went thru cash wash and something literally RIPPED the upper tail-light off my SUV. Literally tore the screws and clips off. of. it. Called to report it, hopefully thinking they had insurance that would cover it. NOPE. They reviewed the tape and said "it must have been loose." Asked if we could send photographs of it. NOPE. "we do not have a system for that." Further pressed and Susan stated "they are not responsible" and there are signs posted stating that. So looking at all these reviews on here, nobody should get service here. Small town community and this is how you treat your customers. Shame. Gets 1 star only because Susan the representative was very polite. TLDR: Auto Car wash damaged car. Car wash not responsible per their signs. Unwilling to discuss further. This location as well as the Richmond, IL location aren't rinsing properly. It doesn't matter which wash you choose, the rinse cycle is skipped. After a blue, soapy wash, the cycle goes right to spot free rinse which is like spitting on your car to rinse it. After spending $15 I had to take my car to the hand wash bay and for another $5.00 rinse it myself. Quite the scam you have going on there. I will never use this car wash again, no matter what the location. If you want it done right, do it yourself. read more

Update 2: After 1 week and three voicemails with no return phone call I still have the junk on my car. All I am calling for is to find out what chemical was left on my car to figure out the best way to get it off. Do not go here. Horrible service. Equipment that allows you to go in even being out of service. No indicator that it is out of service and costumer service that is useless! Zero accountability and zero help. Update 2: Called again on Friday evening because after my car got wet it dried with some nasty "something" on my paint. And now I have two spots on my roof where the paint seems tacky. I wanted suggestions on how to get this off as they may have an ideas what was on my car. Never got a call back and it is now Tuesday. I spent $35 on a different car wash that did not work, $50 on car wash supplies and spent 4 hours SCRUBBING my car. Will not be going back to this wash. The drive to Fox Lake will be worth it. Update: I got a call back and apparently there is supposed to be a cone in front of that bay. The car wash was out of service but someone must have taken the cone. I am expecting coupons in the mail for another car wash. I had suggested that something besides a cone should be an indicator that the wash is out of order (shut the pay screen down, garage door, etc) I am not one to be super picky about car washes. But I will say this, my car came out of that car wash dirtier than it went in. I chose the $15 car wash and when I chose to print the receipt what came out was an empty piece of paper. I went to the left bay that had the automatic cleaning brushes. I'm not sure what they are called. I am pretty sure I only got half of the $15 car wash that I chose. I didn't get the multicolored soap or the wax or the "hot carbona" whatever and the rinse was a drizzle at most. The brushes that wash the car left marks all over my car. The marks are all over my windshield, my trunk, and the whole top of my car. And I have water spots all over. Feel free to see the pictures. I tried calling, but I got a voicemail so we will see if I get a call back. I will not be going back to that car wash. I don't know if the water is dirty or the brushes are dirty or what. No soap in the pressure wash setting and the spot free rinse intermittently spits out chemical from the last setting and of course there's no attendant. Basically a waste of money. read more

This is the WORST car wash I've ever used. I pd $10. last Fri 9/16/22, bay #2 broke down and didn't wash my car. I Called the posted phone number twice and have not received a call back. I'm out $10. Updating review as of 4/12/18. It has been three months since my last review and there has been zero improvement. I used the same wash bay as a previous visit. Fittings still leak at the top of the wash bay and the spot free rinse STILL DOES NOT WORK! The fact that nothing has been improved in the last three months shows the owner is either too cheap to maintain the facility, simply doesn't care to fix problems when they arise or doesn't bother to test the function of the components. My guess is the filters that purify the normally hard water are completely clogged and when the spot free rinse is selected, the clogged filters don't allow for sufficient water pressure. The result is you're left with a weak useless pencil like stream of water instead of an even fan/spray. Frustrating for people that actually care about their vehicles and don't want the worry of water spots/clear coat etching. read more

Just got charged 49.90 for a carwash. A couple days after carwash checked my bank statements only to find this place decided to charge me 49.90 for a short wash (rinse salt off). After numerous attempts to contact them they told me I would recieve a credit after 24 hours as this was the norm. So anyways five days later no credit and no response from managment. I am heading to bank to dispute charges. What a ripoff! Dont use your card here they are thieves! read more

Now here it is, october 2018 and guess what...still not working. Closest place with vac is clear on the other side of mchenry. Update to original post, adding a star after owner called to explain how to get car on ads to begin wash. Great overall wash, now, the new machine in first bay makes it easy to pull in without a hassle of getting on a pad to run wash. Attendant took my trailer hitch off before wash after I forgot to remove it. Good price and quick. read more
