The work Dr. Melton has done is far and away the best of anyone I have ever interacted with - dentally. The tangible results speak for themselves. He knows what he's doing and focuses on that. He tells me what I need to hear in order to properly take care of my mouth. This, matters more than anything else. And yes, I do find him agreeable and easy to interact with. I was referred to him by my dentist and will never let him touch me. His not the only periodontist in town. During my consultation he made me feel hopeless, helpless, overwhelmed and extremely anxious. I have had another consultation and was treated with respect and compassion. When I booked my consultation I was told no charge for the appointment, now I have a bill which I have asked to have amended. He's just about the money. My recommendation seek another periodontist who acts with care about the feelings and well being of their patients. UPDATE: The office apparently has nobody in charge with customer service, I have written them 2 letters about my billing. I was billed for a consultation, that when I booked my appointment and asked them if there was a consultation fee the woman who answered said there was no charge. I paid for my x-rays and received a bill for the consultation after i requested it be removed. When I called the office to speak to the person in charge of billing I was told there was nobody who handled billing ! Really ?? That bill I also paid In exasperation with this issue. I now have been sent yet another bill for $16.58 which is apparently compounded interest. This I refuse to pay. It's absolutely ridiculous. Stay away from this horrible Dr. and the inept office which is so poorly managed.
