They had me scheduled to come in for my cleaning/exam and had stated before I scheduled, that X-rays would not be forced on me. Thus, I drove in the high heat to the office for my appointment even though I am older and the heat makes me fatigued and ill. When I got there they tried to force dirty ionizing radiation old school dental X-rays upon me. I asked if they had the new radiation free DEXIS CARIVU technology and they did not, but they had said prior that they would not force me to get dirty ionizing radiation scans. But when I got to the office, I felt tricked. They said they wouldn't do the exam without forcing me to be exposed to the radiation cancer-causing scans. They tried claim the x-rays are low dose as ever as the industry has lied about for decades. However, there is no safe dose of ionizing radiation according to LNT, just look it up. IONIZING RADIATION IS A KNOWN CLASS 1 CARCINOGEN. The only safe dose is no dose. Everyone should be asking for the new dental technology and RADIATION-FREE DENTAL EXAMS! These dentists should not be forcing cancer-causing scans on their patients. The first rule of a healthcare provider should be to DO NO HARM. Especially for children. read more

Called to try and get an emergency walk in today, the lady asked for my insurance and I begun telling her the number, she then tells me that I have Medicaid and when I told her no it's a private insurance she tells me that I won't be able to go in to them because my insurance might cover in-network only, just checked my insurance and it shows full coverage on both in and out of network. Sleazy practices! I asked if they took my insurance when booking my first appointment and they said yes. However, when I arrived, they told me I had to pay because they aren't in network with my insurance. They also wanted to do a full mouth xray at the first visit. This is only covered by insurance once every five years and is supposed be for serious issues. I have never had another dentist use it except when trying to determine if I needed surgery for an impacted tooth. That should not be a required xray! You will be charged a lot of money if you have already had another one within five years and your insurance denied coverage. Worst thing is that I stopped looking for another dentist two weeks ago and now it might be a few weeks before I can be seen somewhere else. I'm not paying for services that would be free somewhere else and neither should you. Answer questions properly when people call and don't trick them into expensive, unnecessary, unvcovered X-rays! read more

I have a mixed review. This office and dentist seemed decent but largely seemed motivated by money. They gave the same recommendations as the last dentist but quoted more than $200 more out of pocket than the other dentist not sure how most people afford dental prices but I for one can't. Also pretty much walking around with a hole in my tooth where the filling fell out and I have no doubt they could have done something temporary for me and the issue.
