The office is located off Taylor Blvd, which is a busy street. The building isn't hard to miss. Upon our arrival, there was a huge parking lot with plenty of parking spots available. We arrived shortly before 8am so maybe that's why. The digestive clinic is located on the 3rd floor of the building. It's surround by other offices but fairly easy to find. The office was clean and there were plenty of seats in the waiting room. Upon checking in, we were greeted by the staff. The woman working the front desk appeared to be very friendly and welcoming. My loved one didn't wait too long to be seen. The provider was very friendly and informative. Answered all our questions and addressed my loved one's concerns. She promptly submitted all the information needed to get the ball rolling for their plan of treatment. We didn't feel rushed at all which is a huge plus. I was very impressed with their services during our first visit. I will circle back to this to provide you with an updated review later down the line.

If you ask you might get an answer and you might be transferred to a line that never picks up or calls back. Results are in. I get email but nothing from the doctor. I guess I just have to read them myself. I took a tolerance test at office. Called 3 times to get the results and no luck. They tell me that the results are in but the doctor will tell me at my appointment which is a month later. I guess in the mean time I'll just leave my faith to luck and keep dealing with the consequences. My advice is just go somewhere else.

We arrived to her office 7 minutes earlier than my father's appointment and the receptionist told us that Dr. Helm is running behind and she is in traffic; She should be here in 30 minutes which was not acceptable. We waited for an hour, but she still didn't come the office. I called my father's primary doctor to give us another nephrologist referral. She will spend as much time with you as needed to make sure that everything in covered that needs to be addressed. She has addressed and corrected health issues that other doctors have overlooked and/or never addressed before. She is sharp and up to date on all the current kidney and health information. The only down side is that, because she spends so much time with her patients, the wait times in her waiting room can be very long but I just plan accordingly and know that it is worth it to be seen by her.
