My go to pool place in the entire GTA!…read more Was introduced to TNL Zone just under two months ago, and I can easily say I have since came here on average twice a week. After recently getting into pool/billiards these last couple of months, I've visited my fair share of pool halls. From locations in North York, to Mississauga, to my old go to spot Annex Billiards near Bloor & Bathurst, I can easily say this is my favourite pool hall to play at. TNL is never super busy, and I haven't had a single instance of waiting for a table. Even in the case that I did, a bonus that TNL has is the inclusion of other games including Darts, Table Tennis, Air Hockey, and Foosball. All of their games and pool tables feel pretty new, especially their pool cues that I feel are the best I've seen. What I also like is that the tables all have plenty of room around to be able to make hard shots. I've been to VIP down the street and always felt that there were times I would hit the walls prepping for a shot because there was no space. The employees/owners here incredibly friendly and will remember you BY NAME if you tel them your name. There was even an instance where I was charged the wrong amount one night, and without mention, the next time I visited she told me that she "owed me money" to which she deducted the incorrect amount from the previous visit, that's something that makes me a regular here. They do offer food, bubble tea, drinks, and alcohol. Rates for this stuff aren't the best, but I believe they make up for how cheap the playing rates are. TNL Zone has become a hub spot that I bring all of my friends to now, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to come hangout, maybe even host a date here. You won't regret it.

I came with my friends cause i had a groupon and wanted to try it out. it was worth it. Even after the 2 hours were up we stayed longer (paid of course) and had a great time. I purchased a Groupon for $15, which included 2 hours of pool for 2 people and $10 toward appetizers. Monte Carlo is located just east of Dundas and Dixie, but is not visible from the main roads, which made it hard to find. It's located in a fairly old strip mall that I usually drive by without giving a second glance. The bar itself is an older looking establishment, but very well kept. There are many pool tables and a handful of snooker tables that take up the large space, which consists of one long main room, and two smaller rooms. The staff were accommodating when I informed them that I had a Groupon. They even gave us a reminder when we had 5 minutes left in our promotional 2 hour limit, which was very nice of them. The drinks here are decently priced, with a beer costing about $3.50. The appetizers are decently priced as well, but don't expect anything special. I ordered the jalepeno poppers and they were clearly just heated from a frozen state, with some being colder than others. While the food was just alright, the actual pool tables were quite good! The tables are well kept, and ours didn't have any rips or bumps that would've impacted our game. There was ample space between tables, so at no point did we ever feel cramped for space. The cues are also decent and plentiful. I'd definitely recommend this place to others for those who want a pure pool experience. For a night out, I'd still recommend Wacky Wings because the food and entertainment is incomparable.

What a cool place to hang out with your group of friends on a Friday night. This place is the only…read more5 table pool hall in the Dundas and Ossington area. Drinks are solid, the owners are nice, and the vibe is hipster. The venue can easily hold 50+ people -it's massive-, which I'm sure is enough to hold any birthday party! It's also the only place to serve Wild Turkey bourbon on tap. The food is unusually good for bar food. Their kitchen is small and the menu is limited, but it's quality and is on par with the likes of Dock Ellis and EL Ruddy. We usually get the fries (thick cut British style) or the wings and they are divine. $1 dollar to play pool, and there's even a few arcade games. A perfect stop to any pub crawl along Dundas and the Oz.

This place is more than that, though. With an extensive beer and liquor menu and daily food specials, it's a great place to hang out and play pool on their four full-size pool table. The food menu is small but everything is fresh. Grilled cheese, wings, beef dip and chicken club - standard pub fare but made to order and very good quality. Add arcade games and lots of seating to the mix and it's a winner! The owners are super friendly too, having worked in the local area and bar industry for many years.
