No linens, blankets or pillows were laid out for the sleeper sofas. There are no doors separating the living room from the bedroom on the king garden suite. The barn door on the bathroom didn't fully close. The hall closet light would not automatically turn off. The reading lamp switch didn't work so had to turn on and off by twisting the bulb and the second toilet wasn't cleaned even after several requests. The air conditioning was supposed to be set to our liking prior to our arrival. I requested 71 but it was 78 when we got there. We were told that check-in time was 4:00, but if we were in town earlier and the rooms were ready we could have them. We got there about 2:30, dropped our bags and went off on our journey. When we returned, the much touted bar with the specialty drinks was closed because the only bartender took the weekend off which we hadn't been informed about ahead of time. The temp in the room was still 78, the toilet was still not cleaned. One sheet and one blanket was supplied for the couch but no top sheet or pillow. Called the front desk. Girl came up. I showed her the bathroom and her response was, I'll let management know. I requested another sheet and blanket. She wasn't sure if extras were available but that she would check. She came back from the dryer with a sheet and blanket wadded up in her arms. Didn't bother to fold them or make them look presentable. The second sheet was still damp so unless. I keep setting the temperature to 71 but it never went down. No instructions in the room about the ceiling fan, the WiFi code, or anything else. The shower, however, was spacious, clean, with great water pressure. Was looking forward to morning danishes, but got uninspiring muffins instead. When I asked about an adjustment to the room rate, I was informed that since we took early check in the boss would only allow $60. I protested that bit of chicanery. Eventually a $100 credit showed up in my bank statement. I will leave it to you dear reader to decide on the stars. Staff was sweet but obviously not problem solvers.

We went to the store and looked around for a while before getting serious about our search (the store is massive!), but as soon as we did bam! A display stand of animal noses! We continued to look at the costumes, because they are just so cool! They even have mascot costumes! We checked out with no problem and are very happy with our purchase. It looks great!
