I'm going to lay out my timeline of events and let the reader decide what happened for themselves. 4/17 - I called and began discussing Prinsu Racks with Zach. EoD decide to move on with ordering and installing a prinsu rack for my 2022 rav4 hybrid. 4/18 - I place a deposit over the phone with Zach and have a receipt for a $500 deposit in my email. 5/2 - I call and chat with Zach again looking for an update on my Prinsu rack, he says they don't have an update or tracking info, but will call me when they do. 5/10 - I call and chat with Hunter the first call, he says he has to check with his boss and he will call me back, calls me back and says they called Prinsu and did not get a tracking number but were looking at another 1-2 weeks lead time. 5/10 - I call Prinsu directly looking for an update as 3 weeks +1/2 weeks is far beyond the suggested 1-2 week lead time posted on their website. They confirm that lead times for a 22' rav4 hybrid is 1-2 weeks, says to check the shop didn't accidently order the pro model. 5/10 - I call back rack n road, and Hunter double checks they didn't order the pro, he informs me he shows an order on 5/3 for the original, not pro. I remind him I have a deposit from 4/18 for $500 on my Rack and install, not 5/3, so I'm not sure why they would show an order to Prinsu on 5/3. 5/10 - I called back and spoke with Hunter that I was no longer interested in doing business with them and he was able to issue me a full refund. read more

I went back and they returned it without hesitation and sold me a Yakima roof cargo box (Skybox 21) and we LOVE IT. I highly recommend Rack N Road. They ordered in and installed a hitch for my Tesla Model S. The installation was done quicker than the estimate, and they did an excellent job. I had one minor problem when I picked up the car. A sensor wire had not been connected, and I was getting a constant warning that a system was unavailable. The next morning I went back to the store and told them the problem. They immediately took the car back in the shop, and very quickly fixed the problem while I waited. This was going to a five star but no more. I purchased Yakima additions to one of my racks. They didn't have the same cores as I had and offered to replace my cores - free of charge - so I would have a single key solution; that was the five star service. I returned later with my other cores and was told they didn't have enough of the 'new' core but could change them all out for a different core; different than what I originally had and different from the first set they exchanged. Okay, an extra trip now to replace the first set of cores from the original purchase. I arrived today with the last seven cores and was told they would not exchange them, that some were not even Yakima cores (which they were, that's all I have) and was told I would have to purchase cores if I wanted the same cores. WTH?!?!? Needless to say I'm not going back and will not purchase from them again. read more
