Bob is an amazing car doctor! They call him 2 knob Bob since she has been a mechanic for 40 years. If the car has 2 knobs on the radio Bob will know what to do w it! I have brought him things that he wasn't familiar with and that man does his homework and the next day ur car is fixed. I brought him a 1983 rv overheating supposedly. Bob work diligently for three days to find out overheating wasn't the problem at all. It was the fuel pump. Long story short he came up with a affordable solution for me and made me promise to stick with E450 on my next rv purchase! Ha ha. So i did! He is so very talented and great work ethic! Highly recommend him! Keith is great too! He always find time to get me in when I need. He also went above and beyond to help me with a tire return to the manufacture. I had a flat tire on my Uhaul and a second wanting to happen. He changed both tires fast and efficiently. He took good notes too, so when Uhaul tried to charge me for the tires, I was able to hand them the receipt, and they accepted that they were at fault. These guys are great. Prices are fair and service is always friendly and prompt. When I came in to buy some tires for the Subaru they told me all about different options and didn't try to upsell me to the most expensive tires. Although buying tires is always like a kick to the gut Hulk Hogan style (late 80's Hogan--not geriatric Hogan. Although I'm 100% sure he could still kick my butt), they make it a little more bearable. Free tire rotations and balancing for the life of the tires, and they carry tires with some really good warranties. When any of my friends are looking for tires, I always send them here. And as an added bonus, no popcorn machine, so you don't have to smell that while you wait for your car to be worked on. read more

The customer service is non-existent here, right when I first walked in the gentlemen at the front desk didn't even say hello, I had to say hello first in order for him to acknowledge me at all. John, who works the front desk told me that I have 4 vehicles in front of me. as I sat down, I waited an hour and with no one else in the waiting room with me.... you would think a company would pride themselves in taking care of customers who are waiting in their lobby first. at this point I have now been here 2 hours and yet my vehicle has still not been taking back..... John decided to get attitude with me... at this point I realized the customer service is zero. After two hours of waiting, and I'm still the only person in the waiting room. I left with zero service getting done to my vehicle. All I wanted was 4 tires changes out that already have all the sensors in and are already balanced. read more

I came here after 3 different tire shops and all of them gave me no hope about my 22' inches tires, I was so frustrated so I came here and Keith was GREAT! He patiently looked up for tires deals near the area, offer me solutions and even gave me an amazing deal to change 4 all tires for winter time!! Tire world is always so good to me!!! They always greet me promptly, remember my name, give me updates on the process and have fast service. I've taken my car there multiple times I've run into issues with flat tires and they've repaired my flat tire multiple times free of charge. One time, I had a flat and went to Big O Tires on south temple because it was near where my flat occurred, they lied to me and told me I needed a new tire and scheduled me for the next morning. I went to Tire World for a second opinion, not a problem they repaired my tire, wouldn't even let me pay for labor. These guys are great and I'll never go anywhere else. read more

I used to be a customer of Firestone, but since they closed all but one of the Firestone stores, I was looking for a repair service close to home. After searching reviews, I decided on Tire World. They were fantastic!! From the moment I walked in, they took good care of me and my car. They explained what would be done, gave me the cost up front, and kept me informed of the progress on my car. They did not try to sell me on things I did not need. They were always courteous and concerned about my time. I was very impressed. I will definitely use them again. read more

I had a terrible experience here. My previous set of tires were worn and needed to be replaced, so I went to Tire World bought the new tires from them. From the get go, one tire kept losing air and I had to fill it every three weeks to a month after the low tire pressure light came on. I had to do it so often that I bought a tire air compressor pump from Amazon so that I didn't have to keep going back to the gas station and pay $2 each time to fill it. I brought the car back to Tire World and they said they put the tire in the water tank and couldn't find a leak. I brought it back another time specifically for the slow leak (after I felt the car "slip" in wet weather and had the low pressure light come on right when it slipped) and got the same response. Recently, I had a flat in another tire which they repaired and I also asked them to check the slow leak again and got the same response that they couldn't find a leak. At this point, I was annoyed that they couldn't find the problem and concerned about the obvious safety issue, so I took it to a different tire shop in Salt Lake. They were able to diagnose and fix the problem in under half an hour. Once they took the tire off the rim, they found corrosion on the rim, which can lead to slow leaks because it prevents the tire from completely sealing. They cleaned the corrosion and put the tire back on. The problem was fixed for around $20. I waited to write this review for a month to ensure that the leak was fixed and can confirm that the tire is fixed. The tire has not lost any pressure since the other shop fixed it over a month ago. The other tire shop said that Tire World must not have taken the tire off the rim after not finding a leak in the tank, which is what I would guess as well, though I don't know for sure. The other tire shop said rim corrosion in Salt Lake is common from the salt and it's easy to spot and fix, but you have to take the tire completely off the rim to do it. I find it completely unacceptable that Tire World repeatedly sent me away with a potentially dangerous leak and did not do everything they could to address the problem, particularly given that they put the tires on in the first place. The people there appear nice and friendly, but that's meaningless if they can't address trickier issues you may have with your tires. After I got the tire fixed I sent an email to Tire World about the ordeal and received a call from the manager, which was perhaps even worse than their failure to fix the problem. Instead of a simple, "we are really sorry I wish we would have done better," he challenged me on my timeline (sorry, I didn't remember exactly when I purchased the tires - I don't keep a journal about trips to the tire shop), said I "only" brought the car in three times (because yes, I should bring it in monthly so that they can tell me nothing is wrong while I also either waste time waiting or pay for Uber) and gave me a "sorry if you were inconvenienced" speech (which is the equivalent of the non-apology "sorry if you were offended.") The bottom line is they didn't care about sending a customer away with a potentially dangerous leaking tire and certainly didn't do all that they could to diagnose and address the problem. Even though they seem nice when you take your car in, if you have a problem beyond a simple nail in the tire that they actually have to work on and diagnose, good luck to you. Based on this experience, I would never recommend them and will never go back even though they offer free rotations if you purchase the tires there. I learned the hard way that you can do a lot better in the Salt Lake area if you need new tires and/or tire repairs. read more

Tire world was the only shop I could find to work on my RX7 in the Salt Lake City area. While they will admit that they are not experts on the car (very few people are), they always try to determine the best course of action and do an excellent job. They also have done a ton of research on my behalf in order to figure out how best to solve a problem and how to find parts (which is not easy for this car!). I get all of my tires there as well and they are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. It's like going to visit friends when I go to their shop. What a great place to do business! read more

Had a great experience with Tire World truck tire center in Salt Lake City Utah. While traveling on the road with my family in our 45 foot RV we had a tire blowout which we have replaced on the road and needed to check out the rest of our tires and align the coach. I was pleasantly surprised at the professionalism with this outfit and helpful crew that works there from Cameron behind the counter to Dave in the alignment shop. Living In my RV full time with my wife and four dogs makes a situation like this very inconvenient if we would've had to have waited a long time for service. They took us right in to work on us right anyway and perform their duties exceptionally well, so well in fact I looked at the tires on my jeep decided that I would replace two tires that were starting to look a bit worn. Then I asked if they knew of anybody in the area that I could get my generator serviced and they said they could handle it there as well. So I purchased two truck tires for my RV mounted and balanced had the coach aligned , the rest of the tires (6) flipped on the rims and rotated changed two tires on the jeep, rotated and balanced, the generator service (air filter, oil filter and lube, fuel filter) and they even straightened out my 8' mudflap which was bent from the tire blowout. And when I get the bill I was even more pleasantly surprised they didn't try to take advantage of the situation of a stranger coming in from out of town with a luxury motor coach and try to oversell they simply resolved my problem quickly and efficiently at a very fair price I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs tire service or alignment when you're in Salt Lake City Utah. read more
