The store was very clean, well-organized, displays were beautifully labeled, & the racks were well-stocked. Everything about this location screamed perfection. All entering customers were greeted. The store was brightly lit. All prices & sizes were easily visible. Currently, get a second pair of shoes @ 70% off (w/ the exception of clearance). Paid $59.99 for my first pair & just $17.99 for the second pair, both w/ memory foam-- see pic. Will definitely return when in the market for casual footwear-- shoes, sneakers, sandals, boots, etc.

I'm visiting my sister and she says there is a Sperry Outlet store at the Premium Outlet Mall right down the road from her! Shopping girls day! And whoa- it was Buy One and Get the 2nd and/or 3rd pair for 50% off!!! Needless to say I left with three pairs of shoes. I made short order of it too. My sister only indulged in 2 pair. But all day I've been talking about the yellow pair that I wish I had bought. The female salesperson was so wonderful. She found what I wanted and along with her male colleague, found my size. I was given heel padding for when I need to break in my new shoes. If the store doesn't have what you're looking for, it will be ordered for you. The attitude of the employees is up and will make you want to continue to return. I highly recommend this location.

I went through the store for quite some time looking at items from SHEIN, Target, some brand names. I looked for myself and family, I saw a few things I liked, but way overpriced. I literally could purchase new stuff for the same or just a few dollars more. I was disappointed not only about the prices but the selection and quality. I didn't get the hype, as I've definitely found better stuff at thrift stores for cheaper. I do see they appear to cater to the teen and young adult demographic, and maybe that's why they get repeat business. Not for cost savings or quality, because if they'd spend a little time at other thrift stores they'd get more for their buck. I did buy one item that my grand really liked. Of the items I brought in, 90% weren't accepted even though in season, like new, and clean. The 10% they wanted to keep, they offered an insulting amount and I declined selling. When asked why they didn't want the nice brand name items, "just not what we wanted". I did sell all my items on Vintage and all sold for a good price. It's a national chain, so that explains a lot. As for customer service that was lacking. I observed the young adults on cell phones, ignoring customers while chatting to each other and the store needed some attention, as it was dirty and clothes were off hangers or in wrong sections for sizes. I'll skip this one and leave it for young adults who want convenience and not value for their buck.

There was a period when Fleet Feet New Tampa was genuinely special. Under different leadership, the focus was on caring for people, not pushing sales. We were taught to educate customers, listen to their needs, and help them make the best decisions for themselves. The culture centered on community, integrity, and service. It felt aligned with Fleet Feet's stated values and with the Tampa running community. In my experience, that culture no longer exists. Under the current management structure (with the exception of the current in-store manager, who is brand new and not responsible for what I'm describing), the environment shifted entirely toward profit maximization at the expense of people. In my opinion, anyone who questioned these priorities was marginalized, pressured, or pushed out. I personally witnessed and experienced practices that I believe are unethical and harmful to employees. In my experience, employees were terminated shortly after requesting to use earned and accrued time off, allegedly because it was "not in the budget," which effectively prevented them from ever being able to use time they had earned before it expired. I also observed what I believe to be retaliation against employees who raised concerns about pay discrepancies and wage issues. When concerns were raised, meetings were held framing the situation as "not being handled the way management would have wanted," which in my opinion discouraged transparency and accountability. There was, in my experience, a pattern of bullying and intimidation. Employees were pressured to perform tasks outside their job scope, asked to work alone in the store despite safety concerns, and even pressured into running personal errands for management. When employees did not comply, I observed hours being cut, people being marginalized, or accusations of unrelated wrongdoing being raised. That said, I want to be very clear: many of the outfitters who work directly with customers are still good people with sincere intentions. They genuinely care about helping runners and walkers. My criticism is not aimed at them, nor at Fleet Feet as a brand, nor at franchise-owned stores, which I believe may still operate with integrity and customer-first values. This review reflects my experience with this specific corporate-owned location and the leadership overseeing it. In my opinion, the district leadership and operating partner responsible for this store created a toxic and hostile work environment that pressured people to act against their values in the name of profit. I believe this runs directly counter to Fleet Feet's core values and does not reflect the moral fiber of the Tampa community. There was a time when this store was something truly positive. I hope leadership changes so it can return to being a place that serves the community with integrity and treats its employees with dignity. Until then, I personally cannot recommend supporting this location if those values matter to you. This review reflects my personal opinion and experience with this specific location.

At one point, Lisa told her helper "you might need to go to the bank for me." Then, after the three of us had a lengthy conversation about traffic on Hwy 19, Lisa reached into the cash register and handed me $40. She made it seem like she was doing me a favor by paying me $40 for at least 23 items!! Last Spring, I took about 12 items in and she paid me $45 When I browsed through the shop, I saw one blouse with a $29 price tag on it. I wish I had kept my items and donated them to my church thrift store. I will not go back, and I do not recommend the resale shop to anyone.
