NORDSTROM RACK From…read morethe scattered reviews I read, I decided to stop at Nordstrom Rack. I was only three miles from their Brandon store and in need of a few men's shirts and dress pants. I was aware that Nordstrom Rack is the off-price retail division of the luxury department store chain, Nordstrom. I went there not expecting Walmart or other merchants prices. I found the men's shirts and pants racks and found several items that were the color and size I was looking for. A shirt that listed at $198.98 was on sale reduced 68% to a mere $74.96. It was a regular long sleeve shirt by Polo, Ralph Lauren. With all due respect to India where the shirt was made, I wondered what costly threads were used to make such a pricey shirt. The same was true of the pants and several other items. Mind you that these items in the off price store were on yet another discounted clearance rack in the store. Nordstrom may want to rethink their sales techniques at their chain of stores before people start realizing it's not a really an off price store.

As you walk around you will find all of the major retailers and some good food places. I got a chance to stop and rest at one of the many seating areas when my wife went in to shop at her favorites. I also got a chance to take advantage of the Military Veteran discounts at some of the stores. Many are offered.

Donna Nelson was a God send! I was in so much pain in my feet from arthritis I was in tears. After…read moregoing to a podiatrist 5 days earlier and purchasing $50 inserts, my feet had gotten worse instead of better. After working several hours and hurting, I decided, to hell with the podiatrist I needed to go try Happy Feet Plus in Wesley Chapel Florida, a 40 minute drive from the house. I walked in the store and was greeted by Donna. Donna explained the scanning process and revealed my true show size (8 EE), she placed the correct inserts in my old tennis shoes, my feet were 100% better! I haven't had relief in so long that I thought I was going to be forever crippled with pain and in a wheel chair. Donna then recommended a pair of sandals, since they didn't have any work or casual shoes in my size in the store, I put them on and what relief, to be able to walk again without the sharp pain radiating from my feet. After spending quality time with Donna, I walked out with two pairs of shoes and inserts for my old shoes. Donna spent a lot of time with me and I am so grateful for her understanding and her help. I've always had wide feet and had a hard time finding shoes that fit growing up. When I had to shop for shoes before, I would pass the Happy Feet Plus stores thinking it had "old people shoes" BOY I was wrong. I am now a permanent customer forever! I will say the shoes were a little pricey but they are high quality and I would had paid any price for the relief from the pain. Thank you Donna! I'm not sure of the names of these employees as they never turned in my direction enough to get see…read moretheir name tags but it was around 3:45pm on Sunday Nov 9th, my 5 year old and I walked in and up to an employee to ask if he could use the restroom. She ignored us and didn't say a word and then there was another employee in the next aisle over who looked at her coworker (without acknowledging us) and said "I just mopped in there, it's probably wet." Again neither of them said anything to us for about a minute until I said "so can he use it?" With my son clearly next to me wiggling in distress and this lady who had not said a single word to me or looked in my direction said "well she just said she mopped it and it's wet" I stood there in disbelief for a second and said "so that's a no?" And neither one of them said anything to us. I walked out saying "wow you guys are really weird for that" I actually usually buy all of my shoes from famous footwear but I will never be stepping in this location and probably no other location ever again. They should not be retail employees.

It was the first day the Tropical Storm Debby was coming through. It hasn't rained yet so why not go to an outside outlet mall. It is covered in some parts. Once I got into this store it started down pouring. It's still covered, but I said hey let's check this out. The back is my first place to go. It's where the clearances are, hello! An orange pair of sandals caught my eye. It's my fave color, & it was my size. I'll try it on not thinking anything of it bc I'm lazy fastening buckles. Oh course I fell in love with these shoes, and they fit my wide awkward feet and they were comfortable. The price was right. It went from 139 to 40 to 20. Can't be beat, I'm taking them. Service was friendly. Since I was walking and didn't think id buy anything, I asked for them to put the shoes aside and I came back with my card. I'm so happy with these orange sandals. I always notice the bright colors let alone orange. It was the only pair. It def had my name on it!

He just bought a pair of the Cole Haan pull on sneakers that has the giant rubber sole. Ohmygosh he loves them. He says they are so comfortable & they make him feel taller hahah. Each time I've searched for a specific brand or otherwise needed assistance, someone was nearby, easy to find, & very helpful. Selection here is very broad, with shoe styles for everyone. BOGO 1/2 OFF is regularly offered, plus many styles are on sale at any given time. They also have a decent rewards program with occasional coupons.
