I was nervous because she has never done a dance camp and I knew that if it was 6 hours of straight dancing she would hate it, but there are other fun and enriching activities as well that have sparked my daughter's imagination and creativity and she loves the dancing part as well. She loves the owner, Forest. Wish we had found this gem years ago.

They much preferred the subs whenever they had one. Disappointing. The owner was not interested in working with us even though we have classes remaining. The owner said classes would be honored through the end of June, then mid-June and then just got told today is the last class! Disappointing. The owner also passed judgements, wasn't interested in having a conversation, nor finding a positive resolution. I would not recommend this studio. Utterly disappointing. Also, last week I paid for an hour class for my eldest daughter. It started 15 minutes late and got out on time. (I won't say the "d" word again.) The only saving grace is the woman that works at the front desk, who at least apologized to us.

Extremely Disappointed - Do Not Send Your Kids Here…read more My son attended Camp Keystone last summer and loved it, so we were excited for him to return. Unfortunately, this year has been a completely different--and deeply upsetting--experience. At pickup, my 6-year-old was in tears and told me that a 13-year-old Counselor in Training yelled at him that he was "tired of him" and then threw him to the ground. Yes, my son had thrown a piece of chalk--something we've addressed and made clear was wrong--but the violent and aggressive response from an older child in a leadership role is completely unacceptable. Worse, there was no adult supervision when this happened, and no camp staff informed us. We only found out from our son. When I contacted the camp, they minimized the incident and failed to take any real accountability. The 13-year-old was not dismissed, and in fact, is being allowed to remain in the Counselor in Training program and return next summer to supervise other children. The camp's own Code of Conduct says it will not tolerate violence--but they are clearly not following through. This was not just a kid-to-kid disagreement. This was a teenager in a position of responsibility physically assaulting a child half his age. If Camp Keystone does not take this seriously, parents should. I can no longer recommend this camp to anyone. There is a complete lack of oversight, accountability, and concern for camper safety. We will not be returning, and I urge other parents to think twice before sending their children here.

Cool photo ops all around. They had a trivia game scrolling over the bar which is always fun. Lots of lounge seating great for smaller groups to drink and chat. That being said there were some things I didn't anticipate and wasn't prepared for: -not enough accessible parking very busy for a Friday night. When I arrived at 6:45pm valet parking was already full -no AC in the venue- two ceiling fans. It was unbelievably hot inside. -seating at the tables near the stage requires dinner service and there were 10 adults seated at an 8 ft table. Just impossible. The tables were end to end. No space to move. I was seated between two men and our shoulders were touching and everyone is trying to eat dinner. I was having a panic attack so my friend got us moved. -the meal was ok and so were the drinks. We had to purchase dinner and 2 drink minimum in addition to the price of the concert ticket. I knew this when I made the purchase but had no idea what the food was going to be like. - my meal was blackened Salmon. Which was good but a very small piece of salmon. The garlic mashed potatoes were ok however my veggies weren't steamed they were too hard. The entree was $42. No salad, bread or dessert option. I think this was very pricey for what I received. Despite what bothered me above. I had a great time after we moved our seats away from the stage and got to finish our meal with some elbow room. There isn't a bad seat in the entire venue so I am not sure why they cramped all the tables like they do. The space allows for lots of walking around so you can visit with friends- which I did. The venue is accessibility friendly. The entertainment was amazing and I have to mention all the staff working that night were very accommodating. They checked on me a few times. The staff Zoe, Ryan and Marco were all so very helpful. Including Robin the sound engineer-he was friendly as well. I will return if another act I want to see is playing at The Canyon Club. Now I know what to expect and can plan accordingly.

Before my most recent show, it was a venue I looked forward to visiting. However, it had been a bit of time since I was last at the club and things have changed. Unfortunately, after the show I attended on July 31, I may not be back. Please note that this review is for the venue only, not the show itself. While there is a large parking lot, and parking is free, it was very difficult to find a space. We drove around for about 15 minutes before we were able to see someone leaving a parking space that we could grab. On the day of the concert, the temperature was 100° F outside, or possibly a bit higher. When we arrived at the venue, we found that it does not have refrigerated air conditioning - just some fans. It was uncomfortably hot inside. If I had known this would be the case, I'd have brought a portable personal fan. It's hard to believe that a venue that holds up to 1,200 people does not have legit air conditioning. For those that would like a seat, you have to purchase dinner along with your concert ticket. The dinner selections are very limited and pricey. There is no longer drink service at the tables, so you must head to the bar for drink orders. Since the tables are packed so tightly together, this is not the most convenient situation for patrons. Also, if you use a credit card for your purchases, you will be charged an extra service fee. The bartenders Gus, Zack, and Lindsay were great. They provided friendly service and were a lot of fun. I felt bad that they had to endure the uncomfortable hot working conditions while taking care of everyone. I rarely leave a one-star review. It is really a shame that the club owners don't value their guests and artists to keep the venue comfortable. For the price of tickets, food, and drinks, we really deserve a better experience.

My daughter had been training there part time for at least a year prior so when the drama went down, we knew we wanted to be full time at The House. Emily, the owner, welcomed us with open arms and let us know that she had zero tolerance for drama. She wanted the studio to be a safe space and that is exactly what she provides. Emily cares deeply for all of her dancers. She promotes an environment of support and encouragement. She trains her dancers to be the best they can be. She celebrates their successes and helps them through times they need to improve. She never speaks to the dancers poorly. She is always smiling, supportive and welcoming. In addition to Emily, you have Margot and Nathan. These two are also amazing! My daughter loved every single one of their classes as well. I cannot recommend The House enough. The only reason why we left is because we moved out of state. We are so sad to not have such an amazing studio to be a part of. If your dancer is SERIOUS about dance but doesn't want to be at a competitive dance studio, this is the place!
