I found this studio on happenstance and I am so glad I did! The studio is unlike any other yoga studio I have ever been to before and I really dig it. They not only allow, but they fully welcome, talking before and after class in the studio space. They also bump loud, upbeat music during class. The energy in this studio is really revitalizing. The routine is the same every time and it is really easy to pick up. After a few classes, it should be very easy to flow with the class. I personally really like the routine. With how they worked the routine, it alternates raising and lowering your heart rate during the hour. The room is very hot and humid. I break a sweat laying on the floor, so bring lots of water!! All the instructors here are great! They always give such warm welcomes. My favorite instructor is Dani. She is such a uplifting person and manages to make you feel so special. She is very motivating and upbeat during class. Being in here class just gives me warm fuzzies. I like that this studio emphasizes the fact that showing up is enough and it's ok to take as many breaks as you need. My favorite part about this studio is the cold, wet towels they hand out intermittently throughout class. There are two specific points during the class where they will let you know that if you want a towel to put a hand on your stomach and they will come around and give you one. Everyone gets one at the end of class during the last shavasana. The studio itself is very new and modern looking on the inside. The bathrooms are beautiful and are stocked with towels and necessities. They have 2 showers. They just had a really nice looking Himalayan salt wall installed inside the studio space. read more

I've tried hot yoga so many times and ALWAYS struggle. Radi8 was the first place I've ever successfully completed a session. By no means does that mean it is easy! I go with my boyfriend who works out every single day sometimes twice a day and even he agrees it's really hard. Radi8 allows you to rent mats and yoga towels for a fairly cheap price which in my opinion is WAY better than bringing your own because then you don't have to worry about trying to clean a sweat drenched mat. The cold hand towels they bring throughout the class are LIFE SAVERS. This is the only place I've ever received them and they make such the difference. It also help that the room doesn't feel super stuffy. I'm not sure if it's the flooring or the airflow but it is easy to breathe and relax at the end for shavasana. read more

It is a stunning studio and a beautiful and clean space, but the classes are definitely lacking and leave much to be desired. The instructor does not do or demonstrate the poses through the class instead they walk around class mumbling the next pose. They also play pop music super loud throughout the class which makes it even harder to follow the class as you can barely hear the instructor. The instructor offered no helpful comments or insight throughout the class and there was no mention of form. Cold towels were provide throughout the class which I appreciate, however, the instructor just tossed them to you or throws them on your body with no regard for being gentle. Great variety in courses. Room comfortably hot. Only suggestion is how teachers use microphone as it is sometimes hard to hear in the room depending on your location you're in. Such a cute and modern yoga studio! It's fairly new, clean and quite a nice size. They have a new student special, $18 for 8 days of unlimited yoga which is a great price to give the place a feel! Wasn't too many people in the classroom, but the room would be spacious enough to fit at least 10 people and not feel claustrophobic. My instructor was Tiffany, she was very nice, thorough, motivating, and even gave us a cool lavender scented towel and placed over our head on the last pose of the session, never had that before! I love how the studio has the wood looking tile floors and not carpet, better way of keeping the yoga room from smelling of sweat! It's bright and modern, and they even have an aromatherapy diffuser and music in the room. Although the music idea is cool, I would prefer more relaxing music during yoga than upbeat radio music, but nonetheless, it's a nice feature. They even have yoga gear that you can buy! Welcoming staff, lots of different class times, and a nice establishment. Only thing is the price is a little steep, but they do offer different packages and it's well worth it if you're a hot yoga enthusiast! read more

This review is based off of 30+ classes. If you're looking for a good workout with a ton of sweat then this place is for you. It is extremely hot.... I love the heat and have been born and raised in Arizona but this heat is nearly unhealthy. I would not recommend this studio to someone new to yoga. They will not correct your form and technique. This is also not a studio that embodies traditional yoga practices. I'd advise going with a friend that knows the routine. The flow is repetitive and never changes. For newcomers, the best place to be is near the door closest to the outside. Pre-Class: - You must wait outside and are allowed in 10 minutes before class. - The floor is wet and extremely slippery. - Loud talking and no regard for others trying to meditate. Class: - Do not be afraid to lay down and skip flows. You are there for yourself. - Loud music and unable to hear the instructors. If you know the flow this is not an issue. - Streams of sweat. Drops are not welcome. (Bring a yoga mat towel and an additional sweat towel) - Unbearable music choices. These are mainly pop songs about breakups ect. (You can zone these out if you practice) - You get cold towels during your breaks which are great! Depending on the instructor, they may drop it on your face or gently place it. I wouldn't mind if they were shot out of a t-shirt gun, as long as I get one. - If you are new to yoga try to mimic someone who looks like they know what they are doing. Post-Class: - You made it. I'd suggest just laying down for at least 5-minutes to cool down and collect yourself. - There are plastic bags if you want to put your sweaty towels and clothes in them. - Showers are also available. - I always bring an extra dry towel for the seat of my vehicle for the ride home. If you're a true yoga beginner and actually care about having correct form, I highly don't recommend this studio. They do not correct your form at all during classes so if you're not experienced and you're following your neighbor, there's a good chance you're going to pick up crappy form. (Go to Modern Yoga- they're great there). Music definitely a bit loud, Meh- it's the whole gym-ga yoga thing but there you have it. It's the same class all the time, so if you like classes to be different that's something to consider. Nice studio and nice people, but oppressively hot. I'm a returning to my practice again and this is by far the most unique studio I've been to. I have only done the Radi8Hot classes. I'm still deciding if it is right for me, but I fully understand the appeal. The instructors make the hard pushes fun with upbeat, loud music. They tell you how many pushes you have until a rest so you know if you need a rest or not. This studio is far hotter than any other studio I've been in, but they offer cold towels throughout the class to regulate. There are people of all shapes and sizes in the studio, there is no intimidation here. There are no adjustments, but I'm sure you can request some. There's a good amount of class times to chose from. I recommend drinking a good amount of water before and after (yes the electrolytes do help) read more

There's even a way to silently signal if you want a cold towel during a break. They remember who you are and will help you find a spot when class is crowded. They canceled yoga teacher training and will not refund me. I signed up for YTT that would have started in September, they canceled it and rolled me over to the one in February. Between Sept and Feb I was diagnosed with a heart condition that made it unsafe for me to participate. I emailed karma@radi8love.com and they refused to give me any money back. This is not the place to go if you are looking for healing, support, or an authentic yoga experience. I'm obsessed with this place. I started with the trial they offer, and literally got hooked and signed up for a membership. I like it so much that I moved back to Scottsdale and drive to Arcadia for classes. I LOVE the energy, the music, the flow! It is super hot, like a different level of hot- not going to lie but it's quicker then most yoga classes (no joke less then an hour). I did Bikram for years, which is SO overly long and boring in comparison. My favorite teachers are Tiffany, Amy & Mo, but they all seem to bring something special & different. Dropped in here while I was visiting family in the area. I loved it. The people at the front desk were very helpful, the teacher was right there, induced herself and extended her hand to me. I don't consider Radi8 a studio, workout place, I consider it my second home, my village. I was introduced to Radi8 2 years ago and was very intimidated to give it a try... I finally mustered up enough courage and went on a Monday night at 6:00. I was immediately welcomed with a genuine smile and hug!! Danny told me where to place my mat in the studio and throughout the class she encouraged me by saying my name which I was flabbergasted she remembered my name along with every other yoggie . I was hooked after that and since then I lay my mat down at least 5/7 days of the week. I feel incomplete if I don't go. Christina, Tiffany, Kait, Ali, Willo, Amie, Mo and all the other teachers are so gifted and talented I feel honored every time I take a class. The music is amazing and always on point with the vibe or day. Studio is spotless. Amenities very generous. Clothing and merchandise I love it all, there are sales so keep your ears open. I have used up a whole package of classes here, through all seasons, and I think it's highs and lows continue to be the same. Keep reading for the good, and the bad. (I don't identify as a yogi; I do yoga for exercise and flexibility, awareness and focus. So I'm coming at this from an average perspective; results/opinions may differ if you're a religious/hardcore yogi) Great strengths -Their music! Oh my gosh I have never enjoyed a flow more than I did with Toto, Biggie smalls, evanescence, Backstreet Boys, and so many more playing in the background. No boring calm ooommm music; it's upbeat, modern, loud, and makes you really push and flow with the class. Their playlists are fantastic. -Their space! Gorgeous lined floors (I think they just redid them), pretty salt wall, big front mirror, beautiful bathroom and shower set up, and pretty retail space. Everything felt clean and bright. -Cold towels- they pass out cold towels 2-3x per class. After intense bouts of heat and movement, they feel like the breath of god. So refreshing -Repeating flow. No guessing if you'll be able to last this class, all RADI8HOT classes are the same flow every time. I could focus on the areas I wanted to, knowing what to expect each time. And now... the Glaring issues -Not for beginners - I would definitely recommend you have a base knowledge of major yoga poses - the flow is quick and the instructor is never up front. There is no correction on form or poses, (or I've never received any), the instructors guide you through verbally. If you don't have a good base knowledge, you WILL be staring around the room at others trying to keep up. -TOO CROWDED. This was the killer for me. I've NEVER seen them implement any kind of cap on the number of people in a class (why would they, more money for them). I once counted 60 people in one class- that's absolutely bonkers! When yoga mats were touching on all sides and literally every single person has to stagger, that's too many people. It's happened to me multiple times and each time I left more pissed off than when I went in; I don't want to have someone kicking me, or me kick someone else, or have stuff dripping on me idc how "peace and love" the environment or people are. Avoid peak times LIKE THE PLAGUE. -You can't hear the teachers. They don't use any kind of amplification, except yelling over the music. The music is bumping (which I love) but per previous comments, if you don't know the flow by heart be prepared to be following others in the class, because you can never hear the instructors. All in all, I used my whole class pack. The good things are really amazing and this studio has given me the best hot yoga experiences I have ever had. But also the absolute worst experiences too. I will ONLY go on weekdays now, at off hours (like 1pm) because of the overcrowding. Leave the class if there are more than 30 people or you'll lose out on the great experience you paid 25$ for. read more

The studio is fine, the students are great, some of the teachers are ok, but the staff at the front desk and too many of the teachers I've experienced are rude and egotistical, not welcoming or friendly at all. The studio is also over heated to the point where the yoga just isn't even fun, you're just trying to survive. The flow is always the same, so there is no inspiration, no growth, and the teachers just look at their phones while teaching the same sequence every time. If you need a sweat, it could be better than nothing, but otherwise, there are too many good options in the area, I'd say go find an alternative. read more

After being morosely hungover from a sloptastic weekend in Vegas, I decided to try hot yoga for the first time to sweat out some toxins. If you can make it past the adjacent taco place/bar (trust me, it's tempting) and into the front doors, you'll be immediately welcomed in by friendly staff and a well curated selection of some of the best athleisure you've ever seen (Go Kelly!). As a hot yoga n00b, Kandi's class was perfection. She was upbeat, kind, patient and attentive. Kandi offered a challenging sequence and nice adjustments. Not to mention her playlist was on point. I appreciated the many opportunities to rest and take water breaks. Kandi is the cutest. She referred to herself as "your concierge" and even brought us cold lavender scented towels throughout the class. (TIP: If you're new, set up closer by the doors so you can catch some fresh air. There are some spots in the room that are hotter than others.) No shame in the just-laying-in-corpse-pose game either. The studio is clean, bright and modern. Will definitely be back for more ass-kicking in a supportive and judgement-free zone. I came in bleary eyed and depressed, left glowing and energized. came in on a 8 day pass for hot yoga and really enjoyed it. My instructor was clear, kind and very liberal with the ice water towels which were needed by me as their rooms do get HOT. (plus i'm out of shape and was sweating some evil out but I digress), Different parts of the room have different temps, which they clearly state at the beginning of the class. The studio is extremely clean, well light and the staff all seemed very friendly. There was plenty of room for 12 ish of us to spread out with room to easily spare. I enjoyed my class and will definitely be making use of the rest of my week with them. I wish it were a little less expensive, $99 for unlimited isn't necessarily out of line for the area, but it's still steep for me given that it's just yoga offered and no other style of fitness. I do like that they offer classes for sale in packages, so that may be the better answer for me. read more

First timer at this studio: super friendly staff and nice, clean studio . I'm a new yogie so I'm still learning the different poses : because of that it was a bit difficult for me to be in my yen state as the class and music is more of an upbeat and fast paced ambiance. Just a learning curve for me, that's all. I plan to visit once a month with my GF for our monthly early Saturday yoga date. Responding to the mixed reviews, on radiate hot yoga, I am a inactive Bikram yoga instructor for about 20 years, Bikram, known as the boss, taught us that Americans have way too many choices, creating too many problems we are way too pampered and that is the cause of many more problems ,radiate hot yoga kicks ass, gives a great class and if you want to be cuddled and have your hand held than don't come here and go to someplace that is much more expensive. they do their best to serve everybody from young to old -infirm to athletic and they do a pretty good job ,the pricing for their classes is very competitive and they know what they're doing, so if you want a good workout and you've got a little bit of yoga under your belt come here lose weight ,stretch your bones and muscles and all your body parts including your internal organs (Think of ringing out a dirty wet washcloth the pleasure it gives you to see all the filth going down the drain and think of your organs heart body mind and soul kidneys intestines liver and more twisting and Withering in the hot yoga and when you leave you can see it all on the floor behind you in a big puddle of hot sweat)and it will help your mind body and soul at the same time. My first time Visit was a few weeks ago, with Christina's hot yoga flow class. Plenty of parking, if you like to pick certain spots much better to get there early to get your spot of choice. Wasn't too packed to where I was uncomfortable but enough energy in there to feed off. It does get hot in there , which I loved. This place is amazing! I work out but I literally have zero flexibility so I figured I'd try this place out (and I love a good sweat). First off, it's INSANELY clean which is such a nice surprise considering you feel like you just got out of a pool during class from all the sweat dripping off your body. I've been trying different hot yoga studios in the valley. While the clientele and location is great (classes are usually full) the room is exceptionally hotter than any other I have been in (even Bikram). The extreme heat (making 112 outside feel like heaven) makes me think that they have too many heaters in the room and it's thoroughly unenjoyable. Not a bad studio by any means, just too heated. They regularly pass out cold/wet towels. read more
