I've had an account with this local credit union since I was 16. They are very friendly. They also…read morehave some of the best auto loan deals in town, I've always used them for my auto financing. They have quite a few locations in town and even a couple in Ocala and Lake City. I use a national bank as well due to the traveling I do but you can't beat calling a local number and getting through to a human immediately without going through 20 min of computer prompts and then another 20 min wait time if you have to call for something. And if you are out of town and need to access something they partner with numerous credit unions across the country, just call and they will direct you to the closest one for your location.

I have been transferred around and around to 6 different people, all asking the same ID verification questions, just to transfer me to a line that disconnected. As soon as I can get my money returned to me I will be closing this account and never looking back.

Sometimes I needed the answer rephrased so I could understand, and he was very patient and kind about it and never condescending. He also helped me by suggesting responses to common dealership questions and tactics, since it had been a while since I shopped for a car. I haven't settled on a car yet, but when I do, I'll be giving Jesse a call. He's polite, professional, and gave me straight answers and didn't try to talk me into something I didn't want or need.
