I recently moved to the area and decided to give NakedMD a try. During my consultation, the consultant was very friendly and mentioned that all of their providers are RNs or nurses rather than technicians, which made me feel confident moving forward with my PRF microneedling appointment. Unfortunately, the experience started off poorly with the blood draw. The first nurse who attempted to draw my blood seemed new and was having difficulty finding the vein. After multiple attempts, she missed my vein and ended up blowing it, which was extremely painful and left me with additional bruising. At that point, Stephanie--the nurse who would later perform my microneedling treatment--was brought in to help. She was able to draw my blood successfully on the first try without any issues, and I appreciated that. However, I was disappointed with the microneedling treatment itself. Compared to treatments I've received at other med spas, the procedure felt rushed and not nearly as thorough. When I got home and looked more closely, I noticed that my upper lip area had been completely missed during the treatment and around my eyes. Since my face was fully numbed at the time, I wasn't aware of it until afterward, but it's hard to understand how an area like that could be overlooked. Overall, the staff was friendly, but between the painful blood draw experience and the lack of attention to detail during the microneedling treatment, this visit did not meet the standard I've experienced elsewhere. I left feeling disappointed and unsure if I would return to this location.

I also didn't love that I would see a different person almost every time I went in for treatments. It just felt like I had to keep re explaining my goals over and over. I decided to try Skin Theory, and I'm really glad I did. They were able to get me in pretty quickly, and overall they just seem a lot more flexible with scheduling. One of the biggest things for me is consistency, and so far I've seen the same provider, Nurse David, which I really appreciate. It makes a huge difference when someone is already familiar with your face and what you're trying to achieve. David has been amazing. I went in for preventative injectables and specifically wanted to try Daxxify, which they offer. He was very attentive, listened to everything I was saying, and I never felt rushed, especially during my first consultation. He's very detail oriented and you can tell he genuinely cares about his work and his clients. He also answered all my questions thoroughly and made me feel really comfortable. One other thing I really appreciated was that he actually called me around the 7 day mark after my injections just to check in and see how I was doing. That's something I never experienced at the other place I used to go to, and it really shows how much he cares about his patients and their results. I had my first visit about two weeks ago and just went back yesterday for a follow up. I'm still fairly new to injectables, so I had more questions and even decided to add a couple of new areas I've never treated before. He walked me through everything again and made sure I felt confident moving forward. So far I'm really happy with my results and the overall experience. As someone who used to struggle with cystic acne, one pimple isn't usually a big deal anymore (thankfully acne hasn't been an issue for me the last few years). But I'm heading to the East Coast to meet some family members for the first time (tomorrow) and I was feeling very self-conscious. Mary Grace took me in even though I didn't realize they were actually closed today Life has been a roller coaster these last couple of months, and I've been doing my best to keep my head high. I shared a bit about my trip with her, and she had exactly the right words for me, words I truly needed to hear. I haven't been emotional at all through everything I've been dealing with lately, but in that moment the tears just started falling. She asked if she could pray over me. As a believer, I said yes, please. The prayer she prayed over me my trip, meeting my family, my life was one of the most beautiful and meaningful prayers I've ever experienced. I was full on tears. I've also been dealing with recent anxiety episodes (1st time in my life) something I've never experienced before, and she prayed over that as well almost as if she already knew. The moment she finished, I felt this huge sense of relief and peace wash over me. It was honestly incredible. She told me I was meant to come see her today and I truly believe that.
