Typically, my med spa appointments at other locations are relaxing, comfortable, and thorough. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I recently moved to the area and decided to give NakedMD a try. During my consultation, the consultant was very friendly and mentioned that all of their providers are RNs or nurses rather than technicians, which made me feel confident moving forward with my PRF microneedling appointment. Unfortunately, the experience started off poorly with the blood draw. The first nurse who attempted to draw my blood seemed new and was having difficulty finding the vein. After multiple attempts, she missed my vein and ended up blowing it, which was extremely painful and left me with additional bruising. At that point, Stephanie--the nurse who would later perform my microneedling treatment--was brought in to help. She was able to draw my blood successfully on the first try without any issues, and I appreciated that. However, I was disappointed with the microneedling treatment itself. Compared to treatments I've received at other med spas, the procedure felt rushed and not nearly as thorough. When I got home and looked more closely, I noticed that my upper lip area had been completely missed during the treatment and around my eyes. Since my face was fully numbed at the time, I wasn't aware of it until afterward, but it's hard to understand how an area like that could be overlooked. Overall, the staff was friendly, but between the painful blood draw experience and the lack of attention to detail during the microneedling treatment, this visit did not meet the standard I've experienced elsewhere. Horrible experience. I will NEVER go back. If I could give negative stars, I would. From the start, the process was frustrating and felt like a complete waste of time. They require you to complete a detailed health questionnaire, which I did honestly. For context, I've been receiving Botox and fillers for over 15 years at another reputable med spa without any issues. During my first consultation, they refused service and told me I needed medical clearance from my physician. I went out of my way to obtain that clearance, only to return and be denied again--this time because they claimed the letter wasn't "specific enough." At that point, it felt excessive, inconsistent, and incredibly unprofessional. Clear expectations should have been communicated from the beginning instead of sending clients on a back-and-forth runaround. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a straightforward, professional experience. read more

Katelyn was my injector for my lip filler. I've had Juvéderm filler elsewhere 6 years ago and after discussing my desires she recommended I get Restylane Contour so I got one full syringe. I prefer the fuller look and my main wants were to have more of a "key hole" and I don't care to have a pronounced cupids bow as when I do my make up I tend to line my lips closed on top and she advised what she was going to do to help me get the look I wanted and why she was going to put it in certain areas. Definitely will come back to her for my injectables she has a light hand and she's so sweet! Lip fillers are always a spicy experience because it's a sensitive area, but she is definitely the easiest I've had and I didn't get any major bruising. I also bought the arnica lip post treatment which doubles as the post care and a lip gloss type shine without the sticky feeling, very soft and buttery. read more

This place is eh. Your appointment time is not the time you will actually be seen expect to wait an additional 30-40mins after arriving on time to be seen. Came for the new client special for lip filler. This special was for 1ML of Versa. They will try to upsell you during the first "consultation" when you are called back to get situated in the room. You will then be seen for the second consultation, where what you are trying to achieve is actually taken into consideration. My injector was nice and actual lip filling took about 10-15 mins. It's been exactly 3 weeks and my cupids bow looks funny. Honestly looks caved/deflated in compared to the rest of my top lip. I massaged per direction from my injector who recommended to begin massaging after 5 days. I regularly massage and this weirdness of my cupids bow is still apparent. Truly wouldn't return back here and will look elsewhere for treatment. read more

I ended up paying another $68 for 8 more units for my 11s. (Now $562 total in 30days) It was disappointing because my forehead still isn't fully treated, but I wasn't willing to pay another $68 for that area. They initially mentioned the possibility of comping the additional 8 units, but ultimately said they couldn't. No discount or acknowledgement for what felt like a failed treatment. It's fine, but I won't be returning. Idk about you but I don't expect to get hundreds of $$$ of Botox each MONTH. read more

I would have given this place 5 stars solely because my injector, Katelyn, was amazing. She was kind, professional, and most importantly, EDUCATIONAL. She took the time to answer my questions clearly and made sure I understood everything. Unfortunately, my experience with the consultant, Sam, completely ruined the visit. From the start, Sam was dismissive, sarcastic, and made me feel uncomfortable for simply asking questions. As a paying client, I expect basic respect and clear information--especially during a consultation. I asked multiple questions about the differences between fillers, and she couldn't properly explain them. Instead of helping, she stood there with little to no guidance. When Katelyn came in, she immediately answered all my questions and made everything make sense. That alone shows the difference in professionalism and knowledge. After I decided to upgrade my service (because of Katelyn, not Sam), Sam came back in and continued with the same attitude. When I asked one more question, she responded with a snarky comment: "It's like the picture I showed you"--except she never showed me any pictures. That's exactly why I was asking for clarification. The situation got even more uncomfortable when she left and came back shortly after, abruptly asking for payment without ever explaining the process beforehand. Instead of communicating professionally, it felt accusatory and rushed, which was completely unnecessary. I came in fully prepared to spend a significant amount of money, but Sam's attitude made me decide against moving forward with additional services. No client should feel belittled or dismissed during a consultation. The only reason I stayed and completed a service was because of Katelyn.
