This review is way over due. About 2 weeks ago, I was having a bad day and need some relaxation. I remember I had a free complimentary facial coupon. I immediately called to make an appointment, they had a few slots available for same day. Once I made an appointment I received a confirmation text. My appointment was set with Laura. The spa is located inside the Urgent care on the 2nd level. As I walked in I was greeted by the staff. They were so welcoming. The seating area/lobby set up is really nice especially the furniture and decorations. My facial with Laura was so relaxing, she was very detailed, she is kind and gentle, very informative. She mentioned they had a membership program. I'm way over due for another facial. I can't wait to go again. They are having a Grand Opening Saturday, September 17th. Laura and the office manager mentioned they are doing lots of giveaways So if you're resting this before September 17th, mark your calendar because I was told other businesses will also joining them on the Grand opening, lots of FREE stuff and great deals are being offered that day!!! I found Serene through an amazing Groupon deal for laser hair removal. I was at first going to get my laser done at Laser Away since there's so many locations but they nick and dime you to death there. It's $300 for underarms there for 5 sessions meanwhile Serene was around $80 for 6 SESSIONS! I also got Brazilian done for 6 sessions as well, $170! The staff at Serene are so welcoming and so so sooo sweet. I have thick Asian hair that grows fast. I used to have to shave twice a day. My hair would grow back within hours. Going to music festivals and the beach was such a nightmare since I'd feel insecure of my hair growing back even after shaving. I saw improvements after my first session only. I went from shaving daily to BIWEEKLY! Even after 2 weeks there wasn't even much to shave. I am so happy with my decision to get laser at Serene. On top of laser they do offer other services such as Keloid shots. I had a bad infection on my shoulder earlier this year which resulted in a keloid scar on my shoulder that bothered me. For $80 per shot I was surprised with my results in just one session too! My scar is now significantly more flat by at least 60%. Irene is so knowledgable and fun to talk to. She always makes sure I feel safe and comfortable and overall just makes me visits even better. read more

I wish I could give a 10/5 rating!! I am not one to get regular spa treatments, and so put off my Hydro-facial for MONTHS. The second I walked in for my appointment, I was greeted by the ladies in the front. They could tell I was a little nervous, and reminded me that we need to take care of ourselves. I was offered water or tea as I filled out my questionnaire. Laura came out to get me, and led me to the facial room. After laying down I was covered with the softest blanket (it was a rainy day, so I felt right at home!) Laura walked me through every step of my facial (since it was my first one done in a LONG time) and answered any questions I had. After my amazing facial, she told me where my areas of concern were, but there was no pressure to buy anything. Laura was kind, honest, knowledgeable and real! This review is regarding SERENE the med spa located in the same building. I've been blessed, not only do I love it here but it's 5 minutes from my house! I've had several procedures here, I go once monthly for something! Irena is ahhhmazing! She is soooo smart and has the best bedside manner. Horrible service. Had a Groupon, called to make appt. was told that first appt would be consult and be prepared for first session. This took some prep work at home. Arrived and told only consult. It is an hour away from us and a total 2-hour drive from home there and back. Nora apologized profusely and offered a free session. When I attempted to scheduled the free session, I was questioned and that person had to confirm with someone else first. Then I was contacted twice before the free session to inquire about it and to confirm. That day came and my son was turned away stating that he had already used the sessions. When I called after to inquire about this error and the lack of info in the system, he was offered another session without any compensation for not having the free session recorded properly, for the inconvenience of time and gas. When I questioned why this was their only solution, I was met with silence. Do NOT go here. Their employees lack clear and concise communication amongst themselves thus causing issues for clients. read more
