I was so glad I chose her; I LOVED the way I looked when she was finished doing my makeup! I really liked that she would check with me while she was applying my eye shadow to make sure I was happy with the results so far. Carolina was professional, friendly and did an amazing job! I needed someone to show me how to do on-camera makeup, outside, in the hot sun. Janesa was so easy to work with, great on communication, and super friendly and personal. We did the makeup lesson in her studio in Sunnyvale, which was pristine and had great lighting. She used professional sanitizing and I felt completely safe working with her. She gave me fantastic tips on the best methods and products to use, including a write up a makeup chart of my face, detailed instruction recaps, and recommended products. Her techniques were impeccable and looked great throughout the day. The total lesson last about 2 hours (a little bit more because we got carried away) and taught me so much I didn't know about makeup (and i watch A LOT of beauty youtube) Would highly recommend Janesa to anyone looking to look and feel their best!

I knew a little bit about makeup but wanted to learn tips and tricks that would work best for me. (Side note: makeup lessons make me nervous sometimes because I really don't know what I'm doing half the time!) Then the day arrived! Janesa was SO welcoming and sweet right off the bat. She asked me detailed questions of what I liked and disliked and things I knew and didn't know...I felt so comfortable. She allowed me to relax and just learn from her. Janesa gave me tricks for all types of makeup I was interested. She picked colors that I loved and other colors I loved but wasn't sure about. My skin felt flawless and so light/airy. Even taught me tricks that will save time and energy! We ended our lesson with a gorgeous plum smoky eye look - and everyone I saw afterwards were so amazed and loved it! I'm very unhappy with my hair. I spent 5 hours and $170 to get my hair highlighted and came out…read morewith ashy grey hair mostly on the top of my head. Before I left, I told the stylist, who was very sweet, that I disliked what had resulted. I gave her an opportunity to fix it (part of why it took so long). She did another toner, and it still looks horrible. I called within 24 hours of the appointment to request a refund, since I was told washing would help, and it definitely did not. I was told that the stylist who did my hair has apparently different policies than the rest of the salon and that the original stylist would call me back. After speaking to her she shared that the salon has an "all sales are final" sign posted, and I would not be given back my money. I only tried this salon because I moved 72 Miles from my old stylist. I want to just drive back to my regular stylist to fix it--it's that worth it to me. I got my hair done for my brother's graduation, and I'm so embarrassed that my hair looks like this. I already gave the stylist a chance to correct it. My hair is incredibly dried out from being over-processed. I don't feel comfortable going back to that salon. My hair needs to have the color corrected and be repaired. It's going to be expensive to do. I have never paid that much money for highlights and a one inch trim, let alone to have a color job that is so far off the mark from my expectations. I am awaiting a call from the owner tomorrow. Tomorrow is the only day I have to get this corrected, before I fly out of state. I am highly displeased and do not recommend this salon for color. Update 5/10/18 10:36 am. I just spoke with the "owner" of the salon. Her response was that the stylist that did my hair is who is supposed to be taking care of this issue. The owner informed me she would not be issuing me a refund because the stylist who did my hair "works for herself," and "only rents a chair". She further stated that I'm the only person that has ever been disappointed with that particular stylists' results. Whether that is true or not, I am incredibly disappointed and dissatisfied with my hair and the amount of money and time I have spent in trying to correct this issue. The owner relayed to me that I will have to speak to the stylist (again), to try to resolve this issue. So far up to this point, I spoke to the stylist the day of, she added toner, I let her know I still didn't love it at the end. She suggested that I will "like it even more in a couple of days". I called yesterday spoke to another stylist. I received an vm from the stylist called her back. I asked to speak to the owner. Owner called me today. I was told to speak to the stylist again.
