After thinking about getting a facial for months and months and wondering what it would be like, I thought it was time to finally experience it. I was a new Grandma and almost 49 and didn't want to waste another second wondering, so I started researching salons online. I didn't want to spend a lot of money so I checked Groupon first. I found some places but they didn't have very good reviews. So I kept searching and found Radiant Skin by Lauren on Yelp. I was a little leery to even get a facial because I have very sensitive skin. Even though I have oily skin it doesn't take too much of a bad product to make the skin peel off of my face like a sunburn. But after seeing all of the 5 star reviews I decided to make an appointment with Lauren, almost four weeks ago now. It was a little more than I wanted to spend but I was SO HAPPY I did! The whole experience was fabulous. Her room was comfortable and clean. She used only organic products that smelled fantastic. She was gentle yet thorough as she was applying and removing the various products to/from my face. And in between the multiple processes, while my face was absorbing the natural goodness of the products and steam, she massaged my calves and feet and then arms and hands. I had no idea that came with the facial. Bonus! All while cocooned in warm fluffy blankets. I stayed awake through the whole thing because of the excitement of what was to come. I loved every minute of it and my face never peeled, just smooth tighter skin. And before I left, I scheduled my next facial, which is in a couple of days. Lauren did an AMAZING job. My first time getting waxed, she explained everything she was doing, answered all of my questions, got me to laugh during the worst parts and overall it was a very pleasant experience. This was the BEST facial ever! Lauren is the sweetest person. She was super knowledgeable of her products and their benefits, and she's able to inform you of other products that you may use and their effects and benefits. She's very knowledgeable and supportive of all organic and/ or plant based products, which I love.
