Such a beautiful spot! It was conveniently located right across the street from our hotel, so we decided to give it a try. They even have a drive thru, which is a nice bonus. The inside was charming, and you could tell everything was made in house. From the freshly baked breads to the treats on display. We ordered a few scones, a quiche, a chicken salad, and of course, two dirty chai lattes. The food was absolutely delicious, but unfortunately, the coffee was a letdown. The chai lattes didn't taste like chai at all, which was disappointing given they were nearly $15 for both. I mentioned it to an employee, who simply explained how they were made, but didn't seem too concerned at first. Thankfully, after a short while, she brought us two new ones and those were actual chai lattes. Much better! The place did feel a little disorganized, like the staff wasn't quite in sync, but maybe that was just my impression. Aside from the initial coffee mishap, everything else was great! read more

Enjoyed delicious pastries and coffee in this cozy downtown location. We timed our arrival (by accident) perfectly as the line to order remained long after we placed our order. Went back the following day and had a Kouign-Amann pastry which by itself would bring me back to Radina's....delicious! The cafe latte was enjoyable as well. read more

Went to Radinas for the first time today and happy to say I finally see what all the hype is about. I'm a "fufu" coffee drinker and had the Snickers Mocha blended with whipped cream. It was perfect! Also picked up a Pain Baguette (French bread) for dinner--whiched proved to be SO fresh and delicious! What's even more interesting is that they have a drive-thru (which I just learned today). I would definitely revisit! If you ask (not that you did) why I'm not giving 5 stars, its because there was a fly around the bakery area and I saw it crawling on the other loaves. So the shop was pretty busy and the drive thru lame was wrapped around the parking lot so I figure I was in for a decent experience. However, I was unfortunately underwhelmed. It's October so I thought I'd try the pumpkin hot coffee that was on the specials board. When I got it, it wasn't even hot enough for one of the cardboard hand protectors that slip on the outside of the cup. I got a small one for almost $5 and was pretty disappointed when I tried my first sip. To no surprise, it wasn't hot, and I could basically drink it like a warm glass of milk. This is the closet location to my house so I often meet people here to grab a beverage or a bite. Most of the delicious pastries from the Bakehouse are available here as well as the full menu of drinks, as well as quiche and breakfast burritos. There are a lot of tables inside and on the patio, as well as outlets for plugging in laptops or phones. It is a good place for me to get work done outside of the house or office with the free wifi. read more

I love Radinas. Great coffee and tasty food. I would much rather support a local business than the scooters or Starbucks near by so I'm so happy it has a drive thru for the mom of two who doesn't want to get out of her car lol. I've lived here 3 years and the only thing I don't like about this place is the iced coffee cups. They leak every single time I get one so I wished after all this time they would change them out. Kind of a silly thing. Easy to fix. But other than that I frequent this place! Highly recommend! read more

Lately service has been an issue. Very slow and they made the wrong drink, that I order every time, then told me it was what I ordered. This trip, a tip option was added to checkout but you pay before you get your order. 20 min wait and a poorly blended smoothie but I already tipped 15%... drive thru is convenient only if you can keep orders moving. read more

This is my favorite coffee house in Kansas. It's really nice and quiet. The decor and the interior design make it a good studying environment or meet-up place. They have pretty cool mugs to have your hot drink in. It was kind of warm day, so I tried their berry blast and it was a BLAST. It's tasted yummy and really cooled me off. I also tried their americano and cappuccino, and the coffee is good and fresh. On the wall on the same side of the window, they have clocks with different times around the world , which is cool. I couldn't get a picture because the light wasn't make it a good picture. Anyways, I would recommend this place ! read more

These scones are the real deal!! And for lunch, the white cheddar poblano soup is to die for. As for coffee, there's always a great selection and the cutest mugs if you are staying to enjoy your drink. read more

I am a regular at this Radina's for three reasons, #1 Good strong drip coffeee (it might be stronger than Dunkin' Donuts) #2 Drive thru window on my way to work #3 I really love their panini sandwiches The staff is friendly and only slightly disaffected ;-) Wifi signal is strong and FREE. I also like that they give me a discount when I bring my own mug and if I'm at the drive thru with my dog, they'll give her a couple of doggie treats. This is the anti-Aggieville Radina's sure there are some students studying, more grad students, professionals and professors than undergrads. It's a clean, well lit space with floor to ceiling windows all around, open airy seating, and a sunny patio for sharing a coffee with a friend. I like it (and it's right next to my favorite yoga studio!). Beware, this location is only open until 7pm most days and they close their panini bar at 6pm. I of course, count this fact as a travesty -- I typically go to Radina's for a sandwich and a coffee. read more

I really enjoy Radina's coffee and pastries but went there this weekend for a to go order and what a disappointment! My orange chocolate muffin was so dry could hardly swallow it and the grasshopper mocha that I ordered at kid's temp was scalding hot and tasted like a watered down version of the plain mocha. No minty flavor at all. I ended up throwing away both. They weren't busy and there wasn't a line. Staff needs better training. Won't be returning for awhile, that's for sure. read more

I'm sort of upset that the milk wands were really nasty and the milk pitchers for steaming milk were just sat out, i.e. the milk was steamed before I ordered my drink and was just sitting out. I would have appreciated my milk to be freshly steamed. It isn't that difficult to do. And it smelled like burnt plastic in there. Try harder next time. We walked in today to grab a coffee. Time was 4:55. No one was at the counter so we went to the restroom really quickly. Walked out to the counter at 4:59-with no one still at the counter. The barista walks up to us and proceeds to tell us, "I'm sorry we closed at 5:00." I look at my watch, 5:00. Please work on your customer service a bit. I go through the drive thru at the Claflin location several times per week. I'm a simple girl that just orders a large house with 2 creams and 2 sugars but it always is hot and fresh. The girls at the window are always smiling and don't roll their eyes if I ask for some ice water :) I rarely have my coffee inside but when I do...it's comfortable and inviting. Their giant mugs make the coffee seem even better. I like that they have a patio and customers seem to respect each other by choosing to go outside if they are going to be meeting friends for louder conversations. A giant mug inside reading the Sunday paper just gives you that warm, fuzzy feeling. The only complaint I have is the location can sometimes be a hazard. It's on top of a hill so you sometimes feel like your blindly pulling into traffic when coming or going. With the new Westloop stores that have recently opened, traffic has increased and I'm hoping a traffic light will be in the future for Claflin and Browing Ave. read more

Because of Radina's I have gone from casual coffee drinker to rabid fan. I very much enjoyed each espresso drink I ordered. However, Radina's will not be receiving another dime from me because of what I witnessed today (May 21st '19). The entire Riley county area was placed under a tornado warning, as sirens blared, imagine my shock when Radina's employees were not allowed to retreat from the main lobby of the shop. This gross endangerment of already underpaid workers is infuriating. As kansans we are used to tornadoes however this is no excuse for the gross incompetence I saw. When I inquired why employees were not taking shelter, I was informed it was under orders from the man himself, Wade Radina. I certainly hope whatever money he saved by making his employees work through that was worth losing a customer. read more

I thought I would be the first to write a review for this specific location rather than just tack it on to the Aggieville location. Anyways I have been to this Radina's multiple times and tried different drinks each time. There is plenty of room at this location just to study or hang out with a friend. All the employees are pretty nice. All of the coffee/espresso drinks are pretty good, a little too much syrup and sugar at times but I guess it just depends on who makes your drink. That being said, do not get the bubble tea here if you know anything about boba. I am Chinese and grew up in Los Angeles and had boba pretty much my whole life, I decided to give this place a try and see what they had to offer. You pretty much get a choice between flavored tea, chai tea and flavored milk tea. The flavored milk tea costs 50 cents more just to put milk in it which was a little weird to me since usually you get boba with milk tea. Anyways I got a peach black tea bubble tea and it was 3.50. Definately not worth it. They put way too much syrup in it so it tasted like drinking pure sugar syrup and the boba was really chewy and hard. So stick to the coffee/espresso and dont venture out into the bubble tea/boba drinks. read more

Great place for a relaxing Sunday breakfast. My daughter convinced me that try a Pumpkin white chocolate chip scone. It was wonderful - I usually don't like scones because the ones I'd had in the past were dry. This wasn't, it was prefect. I also had a chocolate croissant, which had a thin, crispy exterior and flaky, buttery layers that surrounded a melt in your mouth chocolate layer. I finished off my chocolate indulgent breakfast, it was Valentine's Day after all, with a cafe mocha. It was a perfect finishing touch to this breakfast. Nice and chocolatey along with the smooth coffee flavor. I wish I lived close so I could go here more. read more

Just had the worst coffee I've ever had and the people I was with agreed. Having formerly worked at the Radina's in Aggieville, the new satellite location was the first place I went for coffee. (The 4th st location) I wanted to see what the new little addition looked like and really wanted a good Royale. I left Very disappointed. Having had to wait 10 minutes for two drinks when i was the only one in line, this trip was Very un-Radina's like. Shots were obviously run too long and my Capp. milk was cold with very little and very weak foam. This was a latte at best with no decipherable art of any kind...not that art matters to me if taste was good but this was just a mess. I hope this was an isolated event. The 4 people with me will not be returning. That's sad. read more

Not that great. The poppyseed bread is one of the few quality baked goods (sometimes the baklava, scones are hit and miss). The art on the walls is usually better than what's at Bluestem Bistro. Coffee and tea are decent. It's a good place to have a meeting. Salads and sandwiches are not good. Soup isn't hand-made. They don't change the menu often enough (ever). read more

Pretty much everyone in Manhattan loves Radina's. The coffee is really good, the baristas are personable, helpful, and friendly, and the atmosphere has a comfortingly coffee-shop feel to it. It's a great place to get coffee in the 'Ville. read more

this review is primarily for the quality of food. Love the cofee, sandwiches, and bakery items! the coffee by far the best i have tasted. the ambiance at this location is awesome. As for staff i have to say im not too impressed. maybe its because i come there so early and they are just not happy to be up i dont know. I got a smoothie there at two seperate ocassions through the drive thru and my cup was cracked. the first time i thought maybe just a fluke i went back and they were pretty rude when i went back with the smoothie after it leaked all over my car. the second time was just annoying and i was calm and collected and came back and they were again pretty rude and just seemed annoyed that i came back to get a new cup. Now i give people the benifit of the doubt i dunno maybe i caught her on two bad days cuz it was the same chic. anyhow i prob will still go there cuz i love the product but not so much with the service. read more
