The Anifex animation effects studio is a space you can hire and a group you can employ or engage to…read morerealise an advertising campaign for example or to make your own original film. In terms of hiring the space they have the green screen or blue screen studio set up you use when dropping a background behind your performers in a short film, commercial or feature; and the space has a good sized kitchen facility attached. All the lighting requirements are available and the folk who run the place can either advise you as to whom you may employ as a lighting technician or they can provide someone. There is a purpose built stop-motion camera studio where the painstaking process of creating clay-mation or stop motion animation takes place and there is also a workshop where props and puppets are built, and you can commission an artist to create your characters if you decide you are not capable of doing it yourself. Costs are pretty competitive in terms of hiring the space, but obviously making a film or stop motion animation is not something you can do with a small amount of money. The studio has won many awards over the years and you may be amazed at how many familiar adverts you see on television have been produced here.
