First off I did not stay at this hotel, however I did attend a wedding here today. The banquet room was beautifully decorated for the wedding and reception all in one room. Once the wedding was done the chairs were removed and floor opened for dancing. Everything was going well, everyone was having a great time. I go to the car to get my wedding gift which was a bottle of wine along with a monetary card gift. The gift bag that the wine bottle was in torn so I took it out and had it sitting on the table were we were sitting, while I filled out my card, so I can put it on the gift table. The manager in charge of the banquet room comes over to tell me I couldn't open the bottle. I said it's not for me it's my gift for the couple.. but thanks for minding my business! She takes it a step further and tells our server I had the bottle of wine and he comes over and said I know my manager said something to you about the bottle and I just wanted to tell you there's no drinking in the dining room..and I lost it, like why do two people have to tell me about a wine bottle I brought as a gift. It wasn't opened, I just wasn't understanding why she had to go tell him to tell me again, about a gift I brought for the couple. Who does that! ?? It was unnecessary to say the least. I could see if it was opened then come say your just do. But don't come harassing me about something that wasn't anything. Never again will I be back here. Treat your guest with some respect lady just baggering people for nothing at all. Gifts go home with the couple when they leave like stop the foolery! The wedding was nice however I won't be back!

We had to change rooms twice. The first room, there was a square cutout in the ceiling above the shower exposing the pipes etc and damaged tile on the wall. The 2nd room they moved us to, the air conditioning was not working. Finally the 3rd room was ok but room not 100% clean, toilet didn't appear clean and there were Cheerios on the floor next to the bed. The rooms were very stark. However I need to say that the staff were very nice, the maintenance guy was prompt and apologetic. The front desk folks were very nice and Jose comped a round of drinks at the bar for the inconvenience. I think removing a nights room charge would have been more in line with superior customer service.

Hotel was great, staff is very friendly and always attentive to needs. Great price and nice new renovated rooms. Bar and Restaurant staff always make you feel at home.

Good pricing and amenities. Clean by visual. Get what you paid for kind of hotel. Not a rowdy hotel. Guest service was kind.

Adjoining room door on one side

The building is still being renovated. The restaurant is not open for lunch or dinner. Room is spare but clean. Very dim lighting in the room but it could be a mood. Not terrible but also not great. More concerning is how there are adjoining rooms on each wall.

Booked my stay through sesame place .. I had to cancel our trip and booked this one last minute just to get my kids away for few days and have fun .. walking to our room in hallway we noticed a huge roach but tried to pay no mind .. as I was getting the kids ready for bed this was climbing by my kids bedside .. I went to front desk and we were met with a bad attitude and no understanding .. I had to transport a tired 5 year old and 1 year old at 11pm out of a hotel and home and explain to my 5 year old why we were going home .. I work in biggest mall in downtown Brooklyn and never seen a roach like this insane !!!!! To try and get a refund for a stay I didn't even get to stay for is a huge run around front desk tells me to call and when I call they tell me to go to front desk .. it's my first time booking through sesame and I was so excited until my day ended like this it's so disappointing .. Update : I was able to speak to somebody through sesame the next day and get a partial refund although we didn't even get to actually enjoy any part of our package or visit to the park since we now had to go home but whatever .. Later in this day I was checking my account when I noticed the hotel took more money out.. I called to find out what happened and they explained they were charging me for a hole in the wall that was there before we checked in.. I explained to Stacey my husband noticed that when we checked in was not aware we were supposed to inspect and inform the hotel staff of damage when we get there didn't know that was a thing .. She was able to assist me with that charge but I just found it insane how they tried to charge me for something that we all know was there before I got there let's be realistic the hotel is outdated but that's not what bothered me what bothered me was the roaches being if one of those suckers sneak into your luggage your home is doomed!!! And to top it off the staff was annoyed with me as if I was inconveniencing them meanwhile I had to lug two cranky kids out of a hotel and a long drive home at 11pm .. I was so excited for this place it makes me sad

Pretty nice hotel for a one or two night stay. Staff was friendly and helpful and the check in process was surprisingly quick. This hotel has so many amenities including an indoor pool, gym and an arcade. The pool area is wide open and spacious with tons of chairs to just relax with your family. The kids in our party were loving the pool and having a great time splashing around. The hotel is a standard hotel with the amenities that you need to have a good stay. To me the best part about the hotel is the pool area. The hotel needs some upgrades in the bathrooms and the room because there are some cracks and peeled paint on the walls.

This is the lobby. We checked in and this pic is from floor 3 looking down.

It's definitely outdated, simple new carpeting or some paint on the walls would do so much for this place! The staff are nice and definitely go out of there way to make sure you have what you need. The chef at the breakfast buffet went out of his way to make my son eggs the way he wanted them. He is autistic and they where very kind. The inside pool is super cloudy. The outside pool was definitely better but it was to cold for me. The towels for pool aren't that great either.

This place is about 7 miles away from Sesame Place - which is 15 mins away in car. We booked 2 rooms, a king w/ a sofa bed & a double room. The double room is spacious enough for 3 people to sleep on one bed. Which was great since we had 5 guests in the double room. We had 4 guests in the king room and everyone fit just fine. The bathrooms were clean, you can request up to 4 extra towels a day. We had a huge fridge, which was great to store the kids' necessities. They also have a microwave in each room. Another extremely helpful asset to our trip. We found hairs in the covers of the bed in the king room. Which brought down their overall score. The hotel is pretty big and the entrance is very clean. Free water was provided at the entrance which we used to refill water bottles. They also provided mini bottles in the room so that was a nice touch. There is ample parking as well. Two places are available to dine at, Brady's & Global Bistro. It's pretty ok food, good enough to eat after a long drive to PA. They do have an indoor pool but the smell of chlorine was super intense. We had to leave the pool within the hour & one of the kids needed benadryl after getting an allergic reaction. They also have a hot tub next to the pool. They do need to air out that area as the smell is super intense. We went late in the day and the pool seemed a little dirty but to be fair it was 7 when we went. Pool is open till 11pm. So perhaps it was just the fact that it was close to closing hour? Lastly, when I travel I bring an extra pair of sheets. I use the sheet to cover the bed and bring my own blanket. I would suggest this to the people who posted images of the mattresses. FYI - Just Place your sheet over their coverings do not try to fit the bed with new fitted sheets. This was just a place to stay for our weekend trip. Dont expect 5 star service but do at least expect great customer service which we did get. This place is not as bad as some of these reviews makes it out to be. Its pretty ok.

I called multiple times and left messages and tried to get the general manager on the phone at least just for an apology, but I couldn't even get a call back. The bath tub also wouldn't drain the water so we had shower standing in dirty water the whole time. This place is disgusting.

I didn't even use the shower in the morning. I booked it through Priceline ($122 total) because it was the cheapest hotel that I could get that had a couple Ok reviews on Priceline. It is billed by Comfort Inn as a 2.5 star hotel, however, I would bill it as a 1.5 star hotel. It is very convenient to get to because it is right along route one and it is right off the PA Turnpike. So that was my other reason for booking was the convenience. Because it is along route 1 and it is next to a gas station, I felt it was slightly safer as a female traveler who was alone, than the other hotels that were tucked back in behind places. I was able to check into my room at 2 PM instead of 3 PM so that was a major plus for my schedule . The rooms as other people said are on the shabby side, clearly the hotel has not been updated since probably the early 2000's. The elevator did smell like weed upon check in, but it was working. The hotel only has two floors anyway. My hallway & room did not smell bad. No smoke odor in my own room. The lighting in the room is not very good. Dark & bland is how I describe the room itself. Tv worked & is Dish with like only 35 channels. I thought the bed would be uncomfortable but it was actually ok, a little soft. It did have 5 pillows so that was good. I am used to only having two terrible flat pillows in these very cheap hotels. There is definite noise from traffic all night long being along busy route 1. But the hotel itself was surprisingly quiet on a Saturday night . The staff was matter of fact, efficient, not at all rude, but not overly friendly either. They do place a $100 hold on your credit card for a one night stay. They let you pay cash instead & say they'll give cash back in morning. But they say be advised your $100 card hold can take 5 days to release. I think mine was released in less than 48 hours though. They have grab & go cooler with microwave dinners, sodas & ice cream bars. I paid $6.50 for a Dove bar & Diet Pepsi at night. There was a refrigerator in the room, which I was not expecting so that was a plus. I am not unconvinced there were not bugs in the room, but the bed looked & seemed clean, however, I do have an itchy patchy rash on my thigh after staying there. They do offer free breakfast in morning. I went to a great local diner instead. Sooo...if you expect more than 2 stars I advise not staying here. If you need somewhere just to sleep for a few hours, want easy on/off turnpike and you can get a price under $125 including the taxes and you do not mind a $100 hold on your credit card then this is the place for you. Other "cheap" hotels in the area were more money & some had even worse reviews than this one. So do your own research.

Absolutely terrible condition and unsafe! Could never recommend. I felt the need to stay awake throughout the night due to the safety of my children. Hotel reeks of smoke. Smells terrible upon entering, which should have been our first indication to immediately leave, but we thought we'd give the lobby the benefit of the doubt. Our first room we couldn't even breathe, it was so bad, yet advertised online and signs inside posted that it's always smoke free, guaranteed. Not true, so we immediately went to the front desk. When asking for another room, the front desk woman did not seem surprised or upset, and asked a black man to try three different room numbers on an upper floor for us. He trekked my 3 young children and myself, (as my husband and daughter were using the lobby bathroom) up steps with all our luggage (no elevator, unless it was broken.) Not only was that difficult, I felt unsafe then too. When we got to the room, he opens the door for us, and every single light is on. Every one. He closes the door immediately and knocks saying, "front desk" a couple times, (wondering if someone is using the room?) When he then opens it for good, he says, "She did say room 205, didn't she?" He then jokes, when he sees our concern, that we better check under the beds to make sure no one is there! I couldn't believe what I heard, nor my now scared children. When I ask if we could check another room, he says he doesn't remember what the other numbers were. I tell him what those numbers are, but he just ignores me, says that this room is okay and leaves, without even giving us a room key. My husband and daughter arrive up to the room to say how dirty the first floor bathroom is, and after we tell my son to begin taking a shower, he's scared to because the tub was clearly recently used, water in the shower is also running. Light fixtures aren't there to cover the bright bulbs. Sticky floor. Bad ceiling panel in the shower. Chipped bathtub. Ventilation terrible so condensation everywhere when someone used the shower. None of us desired to shower, it wasn't even close to pleasant. The room began smelling like smoke after we were in it just a bit. We all noticed it, yet the family member with allergies felt it bad with headaches, eye irritation, and difficulty breathing. After the long day traveling, and early morning ahead, two of our four children were already asleep, otherwise we would have left immediately. Then we notice the broken door! The dead bolt was in tact, however the above extra lock completely missing and the door not secure ...terribly loose, the frame broken, and so much space to jiggle/move even when locked. My husband needed to sleep for an important work engagement, so I stayed awake all night to make sure we were safe. Worst night ever. No one should ever feel this way in a hotel. There was a loud door opening and closing all throughout the night next to us. Absolutely terrible, and all I could think about is trafficking is most likely taking place. And more reason why I didn't sleep (and wish we would have left initially, upon our arrival.) The room phone did not work. The curtain was not secured to the window. My children felt unsafe, why did we even stay? I'm regretting our choice and how it impacted my entire family. My son woke up and said there was a big bug in his bed. We consoled him as not to scare him or the others, but after now reading previous reviews, it could have been a roach. With the lack of cleanliness of the room, I'd totally believe it. The internet kept cutting in and out for my husband, which was needed for his job. We were upset a Bible was not in our nightstand drawer either, yet that was the minor thing surrounding everything else. Things kept presenting themselves throughout our stay that would have steered us clear in the first place, if we would have known, and I'm regretting not pushing further to just have left from the get go, even though we wouldn't have been refunded. We truly should have. No one should stay in this type of condition and especially fear for their safety. Needless to say, we did not stay for our free breakfast in the morning. If the rest of this place is this bad and unsafe, we were all scared to attempt breakfast as well. Do not stay here. It's not worth it. At all.
