    Ruined wall in the bedroom.
    Krista P.

Avoid this hotel at all costs if you can. We booked it through Expedia because it said 7 stars. Please check yelp reviews! You could see the flaws on the walls and there were also poop smeared on the bathroom wall. Also, the toilet was clogged and won't flush very well. See pics.

So staying in this hotel was not the most pleasant experience hotel staff are rude place needs a wrecking ball not a renovation right on the highway very noisy whatever the cleaning product that is used smells to high heaven. The carpet is threadbare in areas the furniture is nicked and dinged there's scratches and dings in the wall peeling paint and rust stains around the tub. The only part of staying here that was nice was the bed was comfortable right up until about 4 AM when I A walk to find ants in my bed. My recommendation never stay here.

Run down, dingy, murder vibe, on top of lacking basic necessities like lightbulbs and working lamps! Reserved a king room with Jacuzzi, they took that literally, instead of an additional amenity, the jacuzzi REPLACES a shower or shower/tub combo! Everything is run down, dirty, cockeyed, cracked, or in need of repair. Tried 2 different rooms, neither had working lights, beyond the one at the entry, the phones don't work (even to call the front desk), and the desk clerk thought I was unreasonable for not being willing to try a 3rd room and asking for a refund/checkout. The owner/management don't have even a basic understanding of the hospitality business or what they should be providing. Horrible, ZERO stars, RUN.

Bedroom carpet has big spots where there is no actual carpet, many stains.

The worst. Bathroom was Small and dark, with a cigarette stain on the tub. The carpeting in the bedroom had huge holes. The room smelled like cigarette smoke. adjacent to a very busy highway. I felt like I was sleeping on a runway. The telephones didn't work, The Door locking mechanism was very sensitive, we had to insert the card several times every time we tried to open the door. The whole place needs a complete makeover. There was constant foot traffic outside with people hanging around with or without luggage. Somewhat sketchy, go at your own risk.

The nastiest, low budget place I've ever been. First, the front desk clerks obviously didn't want to do their job. Upon arrival, my family and I noticed that the pool wasn't open. This was a problem because before booking I had call to ask if the pool will be available, and they had told me that it would be. This was the last summer vacation I was taking my kids on, and I wanted to make it enjoyable for them. Because of this, (and since we were there earlier than our check-in time) I had asked them to cancel my rooms. The clerks said they wouldn't be able to since we booked online through Expedia. So I called Expedia and explained my situation. Although I booked on Expedia, they stated that they couldn't do anything for us because it was the Comfort Inn's responsibility now. So back inside I went to talk with the front desk clerks, and now they gave me the run around. At first they said that they would get the manager so I waited only to find out 10 minutes later that the manager was never there and wouldn't be there until Monday morning. Then I told them that I spoke with Expedia, and they said that the cancellation is possible, but it would have to be done by them at Comfort Inn. Well, Comfort Inn refused to cancel our rooms. After several hours later of speaking with the manager on the phone and talking with Comfort Inn's customer service, everyone just said they don't have a problem with the cancellation, but it would have to be done by the front desk clerks, and they weren't complying with the agreement. I don't know what we did to tick these girls off, but they were having a bad day and looks like they took it out on us. There was literally no pool, no playground, or any kid friendly things to do in the area. Eventually we found a park in the area for the kids to play in. It didn't look the safest, but that's another story. Finally, after finding a place to eat, we decided to make the best of the night until we head out to Sesame Place the next morning. However, the night had just begun. After putting us in our rooms with their evil smirks, we came upon the most filthiest rooms on the third floor we've ever seen. The air was off in the hallways as well as the rooms so everything was very muggy and stunk badly. Then, after entering the room, I noticed a urine smell lingering. I immediately looked in the bathroom, and their toilet was filthy with stains running down them. Disgusting!!! However, that wasn't the worst of it all. We continued to proceed in the room. When I went to turn on the air conditioning I came upon a USED CONDOM! I was horrified and upset! Immediately I told the kids to stay away because I saw a bug, however, I just didn't want them to see the disgusting condom on the floor near the air conditioning. We instantly went downstairs to get our rooms changed. They finally put us on the first floor, and after entering those rooms we noticed a BIG difference. The smell was a lot cleaner, and the air was clear. The air conditioning was turned on, and there weren't any urine stains in the toilets. However, there still was a big glop of mucus on the carpet near the television. I can't help but think that they put us in the first rooms out of spite. Again, I don't know what we did to these girls to make them so angry with us, but I don't regret my decision of canceling. I wish they would have let us cancel because there was nothing nice about that hotel. Everything was disgusting. Even their breakfast was gross. Their yogurt was expired, their eggs weren't fully cooked, and their bacon tasted fake and cold. This was our worst hotel experience ever! We made up for it the next day at Sesame Place. The kids forgot all about the night before, and couldn't stop talking about our experience at Sesame Place. You would think, for a hotel that's near Sesame Place they would be more kid friendly and clean, but it was the total opposite. Never again! If I could help anyone with kids out there, I would tell you to PLEASE, DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS HOTEL.

I immediately knew I made a mistake when I walked into a hotel to a very loud heated argument from hotel guests. My first room smelt so strongly like cigarettes my little one had an asthma attack. The front desk kindly and quickly changed us to a new room which we shared with ROACHES, rodents & mold. Absolutely do not recommend this place!

    Brittany B.

Sheesh where do I begin. Let me start by saying I have stayed here before and it was totally fine. I picked this hotel because of the close proximity to sesame place and because of the reasonable price for the holiday weekend. When we first walked into the room everything seemed fine until I started to really inspect the place. There were multiple stains on the walls. The chairs lounge chair was covered in black soot that appeared to be ashes. But his is supposed to be a smoke free hotel? Yea right. It was late when we arrived due to the fact that we were at the park all day and we were exhausted. I went into the bathroom where again there were multiple stains on the walls and the tub was disgusting !! It was covered in nasty moldy soap scum, I had to request cleaner from downstairs just to give my kid a bath!! Then I opened a brand new pair on slippers after walking around in the room there was nothing but dirt and someone's nasty ass hair all over the floor and was stuck to the bottom of our feet! When I alerted the front desk staff in the morning they apologized but said there was nothing I could do but to alert the manager on Tuesday when he came back. Like really ?? Then to top it off when the maid service came the next day I told her to really clean the room and the areas that needed to be cleaned the most, when we returned they changed our fu**ing locks and we had to get new keys!! Like if we left all of our stuff why would you change the locks?! If I hadn't of purchased this room through booking.com at the low non-refundable rate I would of marched straight out of there and checked into the Raddison down the block! This place is disgusting and needs to be shut down. The staff doesn't care and none of your complaints will be taken seriously and good luck ever finding a manager. Will update this review after I supposedly speak with this so called manager on Tuesday. Please families with kids stay away from here not worth it, next time I'll pay the $400+ to be safe, comfortable and CLEAN!!!!!!! Also the headboard had this nasty grease film and drip stains ugh. Can not wait to go home and bleach my skin.

Roaches in this motel. Don't stay here!!!
    T D.

This is the worst motel I have ever stayed in. They have roaches all over the place. Even in the shower. Do yourself a favor and just pass this motel by.

    Great color combination

I'm impressed! I love the conforter, the pillows, the bed is confortable! Great price! It was a last minute, unplanned, weekend stay. Free breakfast too! I would definitely come back!

In a hospitality outfit like this with the in-room jacuzzis and libertarian approach to collective usage of the property - something I think enhances its nostalgic charm - there are certain aspects that require either appreciative tolerance or overlooking it entirely. The situation is what it is. We all find ways to adapt. For example in our room, the toilet seal was completely broken for our first 12 hours we were there. I got weirdly familiar with how to fix the toilet. But it did get fixed. I agree with whoever here said strange lighting choices. Very true. And the jets are weak in the jacuzzi but it does get super hot. Ceiling mirrors are what you're there for. I saw Puxatawney Phil in the yard. Breakfast sucks, but I don't eat breakfast anyway. Falsely Charged $700 Days After Checkout for Internal Maintenance Failure!…read more I am writing this review to warn potential guests about the predatory and fraudulent billing practices at this hotel. I checked out of Room 325 on December 28th and left the room in perfectly clean, undamaged condition. Days later, on December 31st, the hotel hit my credit card with two separate, unauthorized charges--one for $300 and one for $400, totaling $700. When I investigated these ridiculous charges, I discovered that the hotel is attempting to hold me financially responsible for a severe, internal electrical failure of their own equipment. I have full photographic evidence of the room's PTAC (heating/cooling) unit, which clearly shows dangerous internal electrical arcing, melted wire insulation, and a heavily scorched power plug. This is a hazardous appliance malfunction resulting from a total lack of routine facility maintenance, not guest misuse or vandalism. It is completely unacceptable for a business to pass the cost of repairing their failed, unmaintained building fixtures onto an unsuspecting guest--especially days after checkout. I have already escalated this directly to corporate guest relations and have filed a formal dispute and chargeback with my credit card company, providing the full photographic proof of the equipment failure.

That alone was unsettling. I was then assigned a second-floor room--only to be informed afterward that the elevator was out of order. I had recently undergone back surgery, so climbing stairs was a major inconvenience. I was told the elevator would be fixed soon, but it wasn't during my stay. Later, I called the front desk because my TV remote was missing. The staff member told me it would take a while to bring it up because, as she put it, she was "old." She suggested I come get it myself. On my way to retrieve it, I overheard new guests loudly complaining at the front desk about walking into a room where someone had already used the bathroom--and left something behind in the toilet. After checking out, I requested a partial refund due to the elevator issue but was denied. If you're comfortable handing your card over to people who warn you about their own management, enjoy doing tasks housekeeping should handle, and don't mind unpleasant bathroom surprises left by previous guests, then this place might be for you. Otherwise, I suggest looking elsewhere.

It's 3 floors, with a sitting room, dining room, and kitchen on the first floor. A hangout room on the 2nd floor and bedrooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor. There was an issue with the room we originally booked, and Candace upgraded our room for us.l before we even arrived. Our new room was great. It had two parts to it, a king-size bed, futon, and a beautiful bathroom. Candace and the Inn were also accommodating , as we booked on a third party site not realizing kids under 8 were not allowed and they allowed us to bring our 1 year old (he loved the place, too, btw). The bed portion of our bed and breakfast experience was wonderful. The con would have to be the breakfast part. So, first, we should have read their website before booking, as it does state that they serve continental breakfast during the week, and we stayed on a Monday night. As disappointed as we were, that's on us. However, what we were served wasn't even that, in my opinion. There were muffins, some grab and go granola bars, oatmeal packets, and some fruit (apples and tangerines). We were pretty disappointed in the spread. The breakfast options also stayed out all day and also played the roll of the snacks they offered. So when we arrived, the blueberry muffins and granola bars were out in the kitchen to take. We were offered the same thing for breakfast the next morning. Another reviewer stated that this felt more like an AirBnB, and I agree. I think one of the special aspects of a bed and breakfast is not only the charming atmosphere (check, they got that right) but receiving a nice breakfast in the morning. I get weekdays can be slow, so I can forgive a continental breakfast, but there should at least be some yogurt or toast or bagels or something. So, we will settle on 3 stars. The bed portion was a 4/5 star experience, but the breakfast was a 1.
