I am pregnant and my ear was really itchy and urgent care prescribed me antibiotics but I wanted to check with a specialist before I take medication. He was thorough and in the end told me my ear was just dry and to try baby oil and through questions figured my jaw pain next to that ear was from dental work done and I was eating on the opposite side for a while. Wish I had seen the reviews before this appointment. I only went because my primary sent me here. First, my appointment was 11am. He did not see me until after 12pm. Like the other reviews said, the minute you walk in, you feel inherently unwelcome. Gal at front desk is rude as if you're interfering with her personal life. She held onto my ID and insurance card for a LONG time, and then handed me my paperwork back saying it was scanned. The M.A. was similarly rude and annoyed. He took my blood pressure and that was it. When the doctor finally came in, he was casual. He made sure to tell me he does NOT do surgery. Then why does this profile list him as a surgeon? And why does the Medical Board claim he's a surgeon? He spent maybe 5 minutes with me. TOTAL. He looked in my ears, barely looked up my nose, made me say "AH." And that was it. I can only imagine how much he'll bill insurance for that joke of a visit. When he asked about my medications, I pointed out that I had given my paperwork to the front desk and she had scanned it in. He then admitted he had NOT even looked at my paperwork before walking into the room. Excuse me? AND NOW, HOLY COW, I just looked him up on the Medical Board website. SHAME ON ME for not doing this first. "Secondary Status: Malpractice Arbitration Award" - He paid a patient $140,000 for malpractice! I was referred to this Dr by my primary but was hesitant in making the appointment based on all these bad reviews, which sadly have been confirmed. I'm not sure who is at fault here, but I have a sneaking suspicion that its the office staff. From the moment you walk in you can sense the tension and soon realize that the front desk staff are extremely brusque and bordering on rude when you first encounter them. You are afraid to ask them any questions thinking that they'll bite your head off. The Dr. was ok, didn't think his bedside manner was that great but wasn't rude like his staff. I could not believe my eyes today when I took my elderly mother for an appointment today and saw a hallway full of elderly people with walkers and canes standing waiting because this doctor had scheduled all of them including my mother all for the same time slot. There was a total of 8 people today all with the same time slot. I am in absolute disbelief for the lack of respect from this doctor and his staff. My mother waited almost an hour and a half to be seen. She has a very hard time sitting for a long time and neither the receptionist Melayna? Nor the doctor apologized for making her wait so long. When I mentioned to the receptionist that my mother's appointment was over an hour ago she just said "ok" and slammed the patient room door shut. One woman told Me she goes through this all the time when she brings her 92 year old mother here, and that her mother even tried talking to the doctor about it, but apparently this doctor has absolutely no compassion for his senior patients. I find it absolutely disgraceful to try to maximize your profit by scheduling so many patients at the same time rather than spacing them out and giving them the attention they deserve. It's a complete lack of respect and greed at its worst. This is his own practice so he has control over the scheduling. I was able to tolerate their repetitive calling and rescheduling my mom's appointments, and having to call their office repeatedly during open hours due to them not answering their phone, but this today I felt like it was just a factory line. Arrived 15 mins early for 11:15 am appt, filled out paperwork, waiting room has 8 chairs and there was 10 ppl waiting (2 standing). An hour and 15 min later (12:30) I was asked to pay my co-payment $175 which I have no issues with paying my portion but I haven't even seen the Dr yet nor anyone has asked me the reason for my visit, not even in the paperwork. I asked how long more do I need to wait, she said probably another 30 min, that would be almost 2 hours from my scheduled appt. His extensive knowledge, professionalism & bedside manner is unparalleled (we all know there are doctors out there you never want to see again in or out of the office). His staff was also helpful & welcoming. I came in nervous but he put me immediately at ease & takes his time with his patients. Underwent an endoscopy that is usually uncomfortable but he was very comforting & it went by like a breeze! He also provided sound advice for my diagnosis. I agree the wait time to see this dr is ridiculous! He has treated me for wax buildup in the past, using a vacuum method, which I like, compared to irrigating/blasting the wax out, especially when the ear drum is already sensitive. This time, he was very aggressive, grazing my ear drum. I ended up in Urgent Care with an ear infection. I called his office 3 times & no call back. I'm still in pain. My mom asked me to write the review because she is so grateful and relieved that Dr. Mesrobian was able to help her when her previous doctor couldn't. She had an ear fungus infection a year ago and ever since then she had issues with hearing loss, tinnitus and the tissue inside the ear constantly crusting from the original long-lasting infection. Dr. Mesrobian patiently listened to her complaints and made her feel at ease. He prescribed something that no other pharmacy has and it did wonders after using exactly as directed. The time and care he took, speaking with her and actually LISTENING (attention to detail) to what she was saying!! We didn't feel rushed, or mishandled moving forward with her diagnosis. Highly recommend!! Early morning appt...we were seen within 30-40 mins of turning in paperwork. Not a long wait, once in room. To start you have to pay cash for co-pay ($5.00) or use a credit card & pay an additional & $2.00. Paying extra is fine but a 40% markup is ridiculous. I went to Dr Raffi for left ear wax & fungal condition. He told me there were no issues. He was wrong!!! I went to another ENT a week later & they spent 20 minutes removing ear wax & spraying anti fungal powder in that same ear. If Dr Raffi can't see ear wax I wonder what he would miss if it were something more serious. read more

Mesrobian the doctor for you if you truly have no other options. Just understand that you are a customer here - not a patient. The 80 dollar co-pay is the most I have ever been charged by any doctor. You would think with all of the money that offices rakes in with that 80 dollar co pay they could hire more front desk help or another doctor or nurse. Or get a better office space. To go in and out of this doctor for my procedure it cost me hundreds because of that cash grab of a co pay fee. To run your credit card they charge you two dollars And parking is 15. So expect to pay about 100 for the worst office ever. God forbid you have to come up for a follow up. Or in my case, a few follow ups. I had a minor surgery and was told my stitches would dissolve. I'm salty because it should not cost me 80+ dollars for the quickest trim of a stitch. And he said I would not have to come back in that the stitches would dissolve. They did not. My operation from him just did not end up healing like he assured me it would. What I was told "this will heal in two weeks" became a two month ordeal. And following up to get help was difficult. Scheduling is very difficult with the front desk. To receive the care I need became so much more expensive since my surgery did not heal the way the doctor told me it would. One time I waited an hour to be seen by the doctor.. i was in with him for .05 seconds and it cost me. I could have done that at stitch trim at home and saved on that 80 buck co pay. Some of the front desk ladies are rude. Not all but some. They are probably overwhelmed so I'll try and give them the benefit of the doubt. Parking is 15 dollars so if you are able try to arrive ahead of time and park on one of the side streets. If you are not able-bodied and / or have issues moving then sorry - you probably have to is park in the overpriced parking garage. Finally not so much for the the dr., but for fellow patrons : It should go without saying, but if you are a younger person please offer your chair to an older person. We are all crammed in that terrible small waiting room from hell and no one is thrilled to be there, especially older folks who need a seat. Please be kind and offer your seat to your elders. TLDR; for the price you're paying here you're, absolutely better off finding a different doctor. read more

I picked this doctor because I needed to be seen quickly and he was the only one with availability and now I understand why. I really just want to walk out but I'm trying to be Patient . Be aware this place is a scam! My insurance contacted me, and I was supposed to pay only 20% of $170 and not the total amount. They lied and charged me the full amount. I called them, and they promised a refund. After a month I got no money from them. I called them, and they put me on hold for a long time, and every time someone responds, they pretend they don't know who you are. They told me a manager would have called me, but nobody called me back. I filed a dispute with my credit card company. They ghosted me and never responded! They are great scam artists. He fixed my deviated septum. The surgery was fast and I healed quickly. I'm breathing easily through my nose for the first time since I can remember (maybe ever?). I used to get white stuff on my tongue that came from probably breathing through the mouth at night when my nose became too congested. Now my tongue always looks normal. I can tell you from experience that he probably will keep you waiting a lot longer than you are used to and the visit might finally take place an hour after the agreed upon time, but in my opinion that is a sacrifice worth making for a doctor that obviously cares about his work and patients. He is probably not for everyone, but I am definitely happy with his services and will continue to visit and recommend him. read more
