He took out my cancer in 1992 and you cannot even see a scar even though he went into my neck up to my mouth. Wonderful doctor.

Hospital fees, and more fees if this or that tool is going to be used. Forget about paying out of pocket. She even answered "ooooh, it will be very expensive." I understand that everything is transactional and there is a cost to everything but when the conversation is all about money even before addressing anything, then it's difficult to differentiate a doctor and a car salesman. I was ready to be turned away after months of fighting the insurance system just to get to this appointment. Dr. Aminpour heard me crying in the waiting room and personally intervened. He instructed his staff to spend three hours on the phone with Regal to secure same-day authorization. He refused to let me leave without being seen. That kind of humanity is rare in medicine today. He didn't have to do that. He chose to. When I finally sat down with him he was thorough, clear, and direct. He explained his clinical reasoning, answered every question I had, and provided a signed surgical clearance letter that helped move my long-delayed surgery forward. In a healthcare system where Black women are routinely dismissed and ignored, Dr. Aminpour treated me like a person whose concerns mattered. He is the standard every physician should be held to. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone -- especially anyone who has been let down by the system and needs a doctor who will actually show up for them. -- Tachina W.

I'm posting this same review on each one, since my experience applies to the practice as a whole.* **Bottom line:** I was overbilled $247.01 (roughly 60% over what I actually owed), the office failed to send the billing and procedure information it promised me, I was then charged $56.49 for a follow-up call that never delivered what it was supposed to, and after weeks of requests, the overbilled amount still has not been fully refunded. **Details:** 1. **Paid before being seen, no explanation given.** The morning of my appointment, I was required to pay $241.89 before I could see the PA . This policy was never disclosed to me in advance. I asked several times what the charge was for and was not told. It turned out to be the office visit fee. My insurance says I only owed $120.17 for this. I was billed more than double, a 101% overcharge. 2. **Overbilled for pre-surgery testing.** I was there to be evaluated for balloon sinuplasty, which required a scan and an additional test. Staff contacted my insurance for approval, then asked me to sign off on the cost. Before I did so, I specifically asked three separate times whether this was the exact amount my insurance allowed, because I did not want a surprise bill later. I was told three times, explicitly, that it was. He told me that they had a direct contact at the insurance company that confirmed the exact amount that I owed. I was billed $417.64 for testing that my insurance says I only owed $292.35 for, an overcharge of $125.29, roughly 43%. 3. **Billing & procedure information never arrived.** I was told the office would send me details about the procedure and a breakdown of my exact financial responsibility from my insurance within a day or two of my first visit. They never sent either. 4. **A follow-up call that went nowhere, yet I was billed $56.49 for it anyway.** I had a follow-up call scheduled several weeks later to discuss next steps, and Alexandra told me I could speak with the doctor to meet him during that call. The office called 30 minutes late. An unidentified staff member questioned me and refused to transfer the call because she said the PA didn't know why we were having a call. Alexandra was the one who told me to make the follow-up appointment in the first place. I was then put on hold for 20 minutes. When the PA finally got on, there was nothing to discuss, since I'd never received the required information about the procedure itself nor my financial responsibility. Instead, she simply asked about the two nasal sprays she had prescribed and offered an Allegra prescription. That was the extent of our discussion. The rest of the call was spent discussing the fact that the office never sent me the information that I needed to make an informed decision, how I was told she didn't know what our call was about and the overbilling issue. She then told that actually meeting the doctor would require booking (and paying for) a third appointment. After this, I told three separate staff members that I did not expect to be charged for this call, given that we couldn't accomplish its stated purpose based on them not sending the information. I was charged $56.49 anyway. 5. **Refund requested repeatedly, still not resolved.** The office never contacted me to tell me they had overbilled. I had to contact them. I first requested my $247.01 refund on 8/13. I got no response. When I followed up, billing confirmed I was owed the money but suggested I let the office hold onto it, citing an "upcoming surgery." Of course, I've decided not to pursue that option, given everything above. I was told today (9/4) that a check would be issued, but the $56.49 call charge was deducted from it. The reasons given for the delay kept changing: on 9/3, they said they had to wait for the insurance claim to finalize (which had actually finalized on 7/27), then on 9/4, they claimed they had been waiting for pending payment from my insurance company. This isn't true - my insurance paid nothing, since I owe my full deductible. They also claimed they received payment on 8/20, which doesn't explain why they haven't sent my refund. Their response to me disputing the call charge: "Regarding the charge for the phone call, I referred that concern back to the office for review because that adjustment is not determined by the billing department. The office has reviewed the matter and has declined to adjust that charge." **Takeaway:** In every one of these interactions, I was billed for something I either didn't owe or didn't receive, and no one at this office has taken responsibility or corrected it without a fight. It's very disappointing.

Someone in scrubs who wandered in? I have no idea. Not seeing the doctor as a new patient is really concerning, but what is more concerning was that she did a CT scan and then recommended 3 different procedures on my sinuses and Eustachian tubes and had me book the surgery immediately. They were very pushy about doing these procedures that would fix my breathing. I came in for vertigo. I asked if she was sure my breathing was the cause of the vertigo (I've never had breathing issues nor allergies) and she and was overly and falsely confident in her answer. I went to another ENT for a second opinion and this doctor (an actual MD) said that everything was a misdiagnosis, wouldn't help my vertigo. If I had proceeded, god knows how much this would cost both financially and in terms of my health.

ABSOLUTE SCAM ARTIST! Do not fall for this like I did!…read more I was talked into getting "medically necessary" sinus surgery (balloon sinuplasty) and feel WORSE, not better! It's been OVER six weeks, which is when they said I'd be fully recovered. What is strange is they initially said I'd recover in 1.5 weeks. When I came in for the follow-up, I didn't feel better and that's when they backtracked and suddenly said it actually was six weeks. Very suspicious, but I decided to wait since there didn't seem to be much else I could do. It didn't get better! As for the surgery itself, the surgeon was pretty cold and didn't really engage with me. I found that odd. I was told it wouldn't hurt, but then was prescribed three painkillers for pre-op. (Spoiler alert: It did hurt!) Why would I need medicine if it won't hurt? At the pharmacy, the pharmacist let me know the painkillers would interfere with my current medicine. I was livid to hear this because I had specifically asked at the office if this would be the case. So while at the pharmacy, I then called the surgery office to see if there was an alternative medicine I could take. The person on the line was downright rude and told me I could just take the meds or not. What kind of attitude is that to have with a client who is being careful and cautious about their health? I was told to skip my current medicine and take the painkillers. I begrudgingly did so and almost threw up afterwards. The receptionist suggested it was a panic attack. I have had those before and this was not it. It was definitely a side effect of taking meds that are scientifically proven to interfere with my prescription! They act friendly and polite until they have all your money; then they drop the pretenses. Silly me, I paid in full up front, so now they're not pretending anymore. (I had uploaded an image as proof, but Yelp took it down.) I pulled out of savings and have taken four* days off work to visit them and it's been an absolute nightmare! (*Initial visit, surgery, follow up 1, follow up 2) At my second follow up, I was told I need to buy a HEPA filter and dust mite covers. One of the receptionists also suggested I might feel worse due to a cold. I have zero symptoms of a cold, nor did they offer to test me for this. I have not felt sick and this is just an excuse. I was also prescribed two steroids (nasal sprays), which I hate because I got surgery so I wouldn't need to put more unnatural chemicals into my body! The PA said this was my option... I've grown up with nasal sprays and haven't found them helpful. If what I needed was two items & some more meds, I wouldn't have shelled out four figures for a painful and expensive surgery! Also, they assured me follow ups are included in the initial $4,000 fee I paid. But see the picture below (Yelp took it down) at how they charged me for the (first) follow up! (My second one was yesterday, so they will probably bill insurance for that too. That's fraud!) Also, the billing for an April 8 date went through, but the billing for the Mar 25 surgery (paid upfront by credit card) didn't! I have been waiting for this to show up so my deductible is met for the year! We discussed this clearly at my appointment and I also talked to billing about it (see more about this later). This is affecting my ability to afford my prescription medicine and other medical services (like physical therapy for my scoliosis). I suspect the office will respond to this by claiming a simple mistake was made. I have talked to their billing department multiple times, so don't fall for this lie! Every time I've followed up since, they've become increasingly less friendly and more dismissive. I put so much hope into finally being able to increase my quality of life after more than 30 years of trouble breathing, but I was lied to and scammed. If you decide to go ahead with this center (understandable given all the wonderful reviews I believed too), make sure you don't pay in full so they actually take proper care of you until you're fully recovered!!! If you've been similarly scammed, feel free to private message me and also make sure to leave a review so there's more evidence for the FBI to investigate.

I could have come to that realization on my own, give me a solution, tell me how to mitigate it, offer me options on deviated septum care/repair/surgery. Nope, none of that. Deserved 1 star. The quality of physicians has severely been degrading year over year.

I had my appointment three weeks ago, and I'm still waiting to receive my nasal spray prescription. After my appointment, the front desk staff asked which pharmacy I wanted my prescription sent to. I told them it should already be on file because I had filled it out on my paperwork. They said they couldn't find it, but after I told them which pharmacy it was, they located it and assured me my prescription would be sent there. A week went by, and I still hadn't received my medication. I called my pharmacy, and they told me they had never received a prescription from the office. I called the office back, and this time a staff member told me, "The medical assistant forgot to enter the prescription, but I'll take care of it." That was last week. Now it's been three weeks since my appointment, and I still don't have my medication. I called today to speak with the office manager and have been on hold for over 22 minutes with no resolution. The lack of communication, follow-through, and organization is unacceptable. Patients shouldn't have to repeatedly call just to receive a prescription that should have been sent after their appointment. I am extremely frustrated with the way this office is run and would not recommend it to anyone.
