So, this was my first time visiting Raffs.
It's not too bad.
It's quite spacious and bright, they even have an open fire (which heats the entire bottom half of the bar!)
The staff were lovely, very helpful and sweet.
We were here for a birthday celebration, so only drinks were had.
I fancied some sweet potato fries but when I went up to order some the kitchen was closed. At 10pm.
That was annoying.
Their cocktails and delicious, only €6 for most of them.
They do an awesome Jelly Donut shot, too.
The passion breeze cocktail is, by far, the best one on the menu.
I felt like I was on holiday!
I also need to mention the ladies toilets.
They're so cute!
I know that might sound a bit weird but I think it's hard to find some really nice toilets for the ladies these days.
The cubicles were really big, the doors locked, they were clean and nobody could peek under haha.
They have a gorgeous soap and lotion set over every sink, huge mirrors and the entire room is spotless.
It was a pleasant surprise.
The ONLY issue I would have is that the toilet are situated behind the restaurant section, so if there's people eating, you have to pass all the way through to get to them.
There are other toilets up at the top of the bar, albeit not as big as the main ones. These toilets are right beside where the bands play, so, awkward.
The menu looks good, some great veggie options. Good prices, too.
€5 for a pint of Budweiser, which isn't too bad.
Overall, it's a nice little spot! read more
