    Falafel with salads and couscous

I've been here a good few times. It's a great new addition to Vernon Avenue, seems to be the place to go for Sunday Brunch as it runs all day and they do specials on their glasses of processo ;) Each time I've been here there has been a different menu, which is great to see. The food is excellent quality and each time I've been so varied, from a duck salad to a chicken dish and last time a burger, all excellent. They have a super outdoor area also, which is lovely to sit out when it's not too cold or raining, but they do have it heated! It's good value, the staff are friendly and they service is good, topped with great company, it's a great afternoon out!

    Quinoa salad with orange

Making the most of the good weather during the last bank holiday weekend we decided to walk out to clontarf and called in here for lunch/brunch. Being vegan your choices are always limited to begin with, and I hadn't rung ahead but seeing mushrooms on sourdough toast on the menu I thought I was sorted, unfortunately they were cooked in cream! There was a duck and quinoa salad which I was told would be suitable minus the duck. The salad was nice, very fresh, summery (quinoa ,blood orange, pomegranates) and a very generous portion but after a few bites I found it very sweet,it definitely needs something else to balance the flavours. My boyfriend ordered the eggs shashuka which he said were "ok but I wouldn't order them again". As menctioned by the other reviewers the decor here is lovely and there's a very nice terrace seating area out the front too.

Great restaurant, they always make great breakfast items here…read more Range is about €11-13 for breakfast And €9 - 11 for lunch Super popular, so it's often crowded, but they are super good with their breakfast items and menu. Super recommend. They have pastries and some of them are nice, like the raspberry scone, eclair, lemon tart and lemon slice.. I enjoyed those. Their chocolate chip cookie is ok, a bit dry. They have coffee too, but il be honest, mediocre, I go for their breakfast.

Service was friendly in letting me try the soup of day as it was Apple, pear and leek soup. Very delicious and light. A varied menu with sandwiches, tarts, fresh veggie variations, desserts - hot and cold drinks as well as wine ! I had the cup of apple pear leek soup with side brown bread. Delicious on a cold day! A cup of hot chocolate made with dark chocolate cocoa as I didn't want too sweet. Perfectly prepared. And the Medley veggie salad. Of housemade beets, potatoes and cucumber red peppers. All was delicious. I tried to sit outside, just a tad too cold. So sat in the warm living room. Nicely appointed and clean. I'm a fan. I'll be back again when I'm in my strolls in this lovely park!

We enjoyed it so much, we eat there for two breakfasts. On the first day, my daughter ordered a breakfast sandwich. It was filled with bacon, egg and sausage. While she has a healthy appetite, she did her best to eat as much as she could, but there were plenty left on the plate. My husband ordered porridge with fresh berries. It also comes with nuts and honey on the side. He declared it the best porridge he's ever had and wouldn't share one bite. I ordered the avocado toast, which had an egg on top. It was very filling and my daughter enjoyed stealing bites. On the side of the table, they have a chutney, which was delicious with the avocado toast. The service was good, not super friendly, but fine. On our second day, my daughter ordered their granola, which has a rhubarb jam and honey on the side. My husband and I both ordered their porridge with fresh berries on the side. I wanted to have some of the best porridge he's ever had. My daughter didn't like her rhubarb jam so we traded and she had my side of berries, which she enjoyed greatly with her granola. It was a large bowl, but she did fine finishing up most of it and passing the rest to my husband. While for me, it wasn't the best porridge I've ever had, it was good. The honey was a welcome addition and normally I don't like things too sweet, The Orange Goat is a lovely spot for breakfast, coffee/tea and their lunch menu looks delicious as well. When we return to Dublin, we will surely stop in again and enjoy their breakfasts!
