Rag Mops did such a great job last week! Having things fresh and clean around here really helps with my state of mind. I am a stage 4 cancer patient and was matched with Rag Mops as part of "Cleaning for a Reason", an organization that matches a cancer patient with a participating cleaning service to provide 2 free cleanings, one month apart. My experience with Rag Mops was even better than I had hoped for. As a cancer patient, things can change day to day and sometimes hour by hour. Rag Mops was so patient and accommodating when I had to cancel a couple of times due to treatments and pain level. We worked together to find a mutually agreeable day and time for the clean, and as I mentioned before, the service was amazing! They sent one person for our house, and she was friendly and open to requests during her time here. She did a very thorough job and I haven't even a single complaint! Thank you to Rag Mops for our cleaning and even more for their participation in "Cleaning for a Reason"! Bait and switch pricing. I called Ragmops and I told them I already had a quote of $600 to clean after I moved out. I was very honest about the condition of the clean even using the word "gross" to describe the kitchen. They told me they would give me a 25% discount and come in at around $500. They show up and i get a call from their sales girl saying that it would be DOUBLE, so OVER $1000... I told them to leave and hired another company "The Maid Place" who did a great job and did the job for 600 as they stated they would. read more

Rag Mops is excellent. We are particularly impressed with Kara (she is a gem)! She is kind, thoughtful and does a great job cleaning up the house. I noticed my daughter left a tiny bath toy out a few weeks back... Kara not only picked it up and put it away, she placed it in a very cute spot peeping out of a plant. When I saw that, it made my day. :) We are new to the area and after a short time are very comfortable with Kara and her teammates. Rag Mops is our third cleaner since moving to DFW and has by far been the best to work with. Debi, the owner, is extremely professional and polite and I can tell she cares about her employees and her clients. Rag Mops uses a single cleaner to clean our house, so it takes a bit longer, but we like that we know who they are and can expect the same one every time, vs. a prior cleaner who used 2-3 people, were faster, but you never knew who was showing up. So far we have been very happy, and when we found something that may have been missed or needed recleaned, Debi made sure it was done right. read more

The people at RagMops aren't bad people; they just didn't do a great job at communicating. I really had a good feeling about this company, but I'd say save your money and choose a different local cleaner. They completely bungled communications with me, resulting in a botched cleaning job. I was not charged for the aborted cleaning job, to their credit, but the way this whole experience played out left a pretty sour taste in my mouth. I told the employees at RagMops that I would leave the backdoor unlocked for entry to the home, as no one would be present at the property at the time of the cleaning. When they arrived at the property, they mistakenly tried the front door, and then called me several times during work hours because they were confused when they found the front door locked. Yes, that would be because the backdoor is the one unlocked. An understandable mistake! I wouldn't give someone one star for that. We got it sorted and the cleaning crew got in the front door. Cool! But then, apparently, they discovered my cleanup job was more intense than they had anticipated. Okay, that's my bad! I didn't realize certain details about the condition of the house that I was apparently meant to relay, which was a mistake due to my own ignorance of this type of procedure. However, it's on a company like this to anticipate what their customers do and don't know--I could have been helped by someone asking me the right questions in the initial scheduling call. In my initial call, I told them I don't care how long the cleanup takes -- that I'll pay for however long it takes. That was, I thought, why a company would choose an hourly rate to charge by. Instead, they decided that since the cleanup was more intense than they thought, they needed to call me and get permission from me to continue cleaning (???). They proceeded to call me 3 times at work while my phone was on silent, leaving a lengthy and not super professional voicemail explaining that they are "not a bait and switch kind of company" and since they "can't get in touch with [me]" they will be vacating the property and not finishing the cleanup. No charge to me, but that still leaves me with a dirty house and a bunch of time wasted researching and scheduling for a cleanup crew. Why even set an hourly rate if your procedure is to abandon the job when it might take longer than anticipated? Also, were the representatives even listening to me at all on the phone, or did they just hear what they wanted to hear? Could someone not have made a note that I explicitly said, "The cleaning will take as long as it takes, and I'm willing to pay for however much it costs"? Apparently not, because this fact did not get communicated. Moreover, when I attempted a call-back mere minutes after the succession of calls and voicemails the reps at RagMops had left me, no one picked up the phone. If you have a very simple cleanup job with simple instructions, maybe this is the company for you. If you are inexperienced and need clear communications between not only yourself and the employees but also between the employees at the company, then I would seek out another cleaning service. read more

I've been using Rag Mops for about 6mths now for biweekly cleanings and cannot imagine not having them. Everyone is friendly and they consistently and thoroughly clean our home very well. They also take the pandemic seriously, wear masks and socially distance. The owner is also responsive and professional. Love them!! read more

I've used other cleaning services over the years but Rag Mops best meets our current needs. We have the same person quite consistently and she does a very good job while being patient with our family situation. We are usually at home much of the time she is cleaning and she is very flexible as we try to stay out of her way in our fairly small home. What I like best about Rag Mops over previously used services is their business format of a single person rather than a team. This is more consistently the same person who now knows the quirks of our home and my preference quirks. Rag Mops came to my home to do a first time cleaning and did an outstanding job. I was very impressed with that one cleaning. Unfortunately the service immediately went downhill after that. On my second cleaning I came home to floors that had clearly not been vacuuming, swept, or mopped. The master bathroom mirror was terribly streaked. The bathroom counter was left with a film of grit from whatever cleaning product they had used on it. The kitchen trash had not been emptied. I immediately called the owner and her initial response was to defend the cleaning saying the normal cleanings are not as thorough as the first time clean. Once I sent her photos of all the dust and pet hair I swept up and the full trash can, she did offer to send someone out the following week to reclean. "Not as thorough" was an understatement! It was as it the house had barely been touched. Initially I agreed to the reclean, but then decided that the service I received was so egregiously poor that I did not want to do business with them further. Maybe I just got a bad cleaning person, I don't know. But based on my experience I will never use them again and would not recommend them to anyone else either. read more

We've been using Rag Mops for about 6 months now and couldn't be happier! The office staff is so easy to communicate with and the process could not be any more simple. They have a copy of our house key so we can come home from work to a clean house, and they automatically charge our card afterwards so no need to hassle with cash or checks. Aweful situation to work so hard spend gas and labor off my back, making the company money then no pay check. Yes she has employees sign waiver stating she will not pay if 2 weeks notice wasnt given. They call me each week and confirm the day/time of the service ( even though it's the same each week.) Some people may not prefer to have the call but I really appreciate the personal communication. Excellent service! We recently moved to Flower Mound and didn't know who to call for cleaning services. I saw an ad for rags and mops and decided to give it a try. I have been so pleased with their services that I have recommended them to friends. When you call every one at the office is extremely friendly, if you have any special requests, for example I ask them to take our dog out of his crate when they leave they take care of it.
