Now we all know this is not a fine dining experience with beautiful ambience in the hottest location in town, so I'm not going to review it as if it's comparable to that. But if you're going to the restaurant, expecting flavorful and fresh tasting seafood with good service and without Frills, then I think it earns at least 4 (the deduction is just that my table wasn't as clean as I would've liked it when we were seated, and I didn't love the taste of the corn included in the meal, but my partner loved it so maybe it's just a personal preference). Decent seafood boil in Madison! The servers were really nice, and they sat us down immediately (there was ample seating). I ordered a Combo E to share with my boyfriend and they let us sub the crawfish with mussels which was great! There was soooo much food. The sauce was a little bland in my opinion, so I wish it was more flavorful (cajun sauce, medium heat). We also found multiple pea crabs in our mussels, which negatively affected the experience since the mussels weren't cleaned to remove them. Great portion for the price though! read more

This is my son and I favorite lunch spot we always get the combo B and swap the shrimp for crawfish. The seasonings are great we order extra garlic as well. The service is always great she knows are order by heart and greats us well. If anything needed to be done in the restaurant they need to re model the bathroom otherwise it's all pretty good we definitely will be back. I like all the decorations and seating they have. read more

Great customer service. Our waitress was super sweet and patient as we were a party of 13 with kids. The menu is excellent! Loved that they offered more than just the combos itself. Our waitress was kind enough to save us a few bucks by letting us how we can sub a few items for just a few dollars up charge vs buying it by the lb on the side. That was a huge help on our wallets. I stopped in with my girlfriend and some friends as we were staying at the hotel next door. We love Cajun boils and figured we'd try this place. Walking in, the immaculate cleanliness was immediately noticeable. We were greeted and sat by a very friendly young woman. The blue lights look great and add a great ambiance to the place. We ordered and received drinks quite quickly. We ordered a family meal for three and one for five with "house special" sauce. The food was spectacular. It's messy but fun. I sort of felt like a child and I really enjoyed it. Food everywhere, lol. We received numerous refills and the bagged our left overs in a leak proof bag. Our experience was first rate. The place is clean, the staff is pleasant and the food is wonderful. I highly recommend this place. I was there with my romantic same sex partner and they treated us like everyone else. The food here is delicious. Seafood is expensive, but you won't be disappointed with the serving size here. You get A LOT of food! We had leftovers. We took our kids here, and I wouldn't say it's the most comfortable experience going with young children, but I will definitely be back without them! The service was good, too. The saving grace to this review is the corporate chain across the street. 1 star for overcooked mushy snow crab legs 3 stars for service 5 stars for packaging & garlic usage in the seasoning 3.5 stars for aesthetics 4 stars for cleanliness as it appears from the parking lot and they have sanitizer at register/hostess station. They don't offer curbside and we didn't dine in but others were dining in. Menu on Facebook IS more thorough THAN their other online postings (e.g. UberEats. Their website, et al). There's a $25 combo worth trying. Spice level is customizable. I'll go back as the corporate place across the street failed worse than these almost unforgivable overcooked left in water mushy snowcrab legs. No, I didn't call back to alert anyone as it's far east. We did have their local competitors to make a fair comparison and this moved the needle from 2 to 2.5 (corporate comparison) to 3 (local comparison and we will try again given the shrimp and spice). Sausage is not beef but a pork by product. They use red potatoes. Corn tasted like the Green Giant. They have better flavor to the seafood than their local competitor. .meaning... They must have some seasoning in the boiling water versus simply cooking seafood then dumping margarine seasoned in the plastic bag expecting it to flavor everything or enhance something. However it's been months & months to not be able to go because they have been sold out of the king crab legs that were a staple to their seafood boil! So disappointing! Converted restaurant, what was it? Run by Chinese, so the Cajun authenticity is a bit of a stretch. The update was on the cheap, stone wall contact paper peeling off, lots of supplies sitting around and maybe a 6 or 7 in cleanliness. Food was pretty good. No complaints. read more

We are known for a lot but great seafood boils is understandably not one of them. Rightly so. So. We tried it. I should say that my wife and I spent the first of our married years in a Baltimore where crab feasts rule (they don't have Maryland crab-that's totally fine) and I visit New Orleans as often as I can afford to. This is an Asian and seafood boil mix and they do an OUTSTANDING job. Delicious. Delivers hot bag (see it to know it) where your food remains hot. Their Cajun sauce (get it in the side-even if you like hot) pairs great with a garlic butter base and their Chinese dumplings were solid and their dirt cheap hot sake was worth every penny (tastes as priced but still good). Service was excellent. It was cheap for what you got-in our case stuffed as heck with no desire to take home leftovers. I cannot wait to go back and neither can my family. We came in on a Saturday night after reading a very positive review on Madison.com. Boy, this article wasn't kidding; it was excellent! We got the Combo E, which is the perfect size for two people with healthy appetites. All food is served in a giant plastic bag full of delicious seasoning (I recommend the House Special seasoning--it was a heavenly mixture of buttery Cajun goodness). Leave your nice jewelry and fancy clothes at home, as you'll be eating mostly with your hands. Gloves and bibs are provided. The crab legs are meaty and flavorful, and the headless shrimp and crawfish are delicious. Unexpected highlight was the andouille sausage, as it absorbed the flavors beautifully. Even though this is a Cajun restaurant, there are Asian-inspired appetizers. We had some yummy dumplings to start, and finished the meal off with Chinese donuts (watch out, it's a large quantity!). The prices are reasonable, service is great and space itself is pretty huge, so social distancing is very easy. We are thrilled with this new addition to the Madison restaurant scene and can't wait to read more
