I called them again and they confirmed my insurance is valid. Went in for the appointment and the receptionist tries to get me to "Self pay" and says I don't have valid insurance. Had to provide the insurance a 3rd time before they finally acknowledged it. I got as far as seeing the medical assistant. I showed her my most recent MRI and a stack of medical records going back 2 years. She quickly told me that the doctor wasn't going to be able to help me and I left. Never saw the doctor. Also their office is full of red flags, like advertisements for laser hair removal, ketamine injections, Regenexx ads all over the place (which is not a proven treatment and is experimental at best), something called the O-shot for woman sexual improvement. I feel stupid for going here.

Did not discuss any other possible treatments (i.e. medication), just insisted the next step was to come back for an injection. I went for the injection and it went fine. I had more pain for the next 7 days than I did before coming in, and after that I felt no pain relief at all. I came in for my scheduled follow-up appointment and was exactly on time. I sat in the waiting room for 30 minutes and then came out to remind them that I was waiting and that it was 30 minutes past my appointment time. The person there said something like "oh you're probably next". I told them I had another appointment after this and could not just wait around indefinitely. I waited another 10 minutes and still no doctor showed up. I decided that I could not stay any longer as they were well past the appointment time. I asked if we can reschedule for a less busy time. They said the next available appointment is 30 days out! I asked if they think it's right that the doctor did not show for my appointment and now I have to wait 30 days for another chance? The scheduler told me that even if I come in after 30 days, the doctor may still be not on-time that day and that I have to just sit there and wait. At this point I decided to just leave and go someplace else. Their treatment was not effective at all, their office staff is impossible to get a hold of since they don't answer the phone or return messages, and if they can't keep their appointments then it's really a deal-breaker for me. He and I have worked together for many years and he has reduced the amount to time that I continued to pass out from pain and nearly die as I stopped breathing when i fell down from pain. I've spent a lot of time in hospitals having my own parts fixed and waiting around for others to have procedures done - typically it's a crapshoot on when you'll get officially checked in, who will administer your anesthesia or when you'll be able to find out anything about the patient. Not today - the anesthesiologist called the gf last night to confirm her allergies. We were told to be ready to be checked in at 7:30 this morning (they had her dressed and her IV set by 7:35). Her surgery was supposed to last 2.5 hours and I just got word (at exactly 11:30) she's been wheeled to recovery. They had her permits for a handicap placard ready for me to take to the DMV as soon as they took her in to surgery as well - to say this has been a monster success so far would be one hell of an understatement. Of course I'll hold off on five stars until I've been a patient up here, but for now I couldn't be happier with the treatment she and I both have experienced. She falsely claimed that the appointment time had already been passed by 40 minutes, which was completely inaccurate.When I confronted her about the fact that their own scheduling team told us this was fine, Selena admitted that they constantly have problems with their scheduling team. When I asked why they still use them, she casually responded that they "can't just fire them." To top off the entire unprofessional interaction, she repeatedly called me "Mrs. Gordon," which is not my last name.They turned away a child with severe autism who traveled hours for help, all because of their own staff errors and a total refusal to look at legal guardianship papers. If they say they are going to call you back, Don't count on it. This is not to impinge their skills as medical professionals at all. They are good DR's just absolutely horrible at communication or pretending like you as a patient matter unless you are right in front of them. Words cannot express how well my ER visit went today. Thank you all so much! I was at this location this afternoon for a work related injury. I cannot remember the name of the ER in-take nurse but she was so helpful, kind, empathetic, and knowledgeable. She did a fantastic job of getting me checked in and seen right away. Then I met Dr. Erin MacDonald Owens, she was friendly, caring, and listened to my concerns. She acted accordingly and facilitated my needs with Radiographs, oral medications given in hospital and prescriptions sent to my most convenient pharmacy. I then met the sweetest nurse, I apologize that I forgot her name! She helped me with all paperwork and assisted me in finding the correct information on my paperwork that I arrived with from my place of business. She was the best; so nice, very caring and stayed with me until I fully understood everything going on. She did not leave me until I had all questions answered. Thank you, to an amazing female nurse that comforted an anxious patient. Then I met Paul, he came in and performed radiographs of my Left elbow/forearm. He had the greatest personality, he even allowed me to joke about my veterinary career field. He was so gentle, funny, and put my mind at ease so I could continue with Dr. Owens's orders. After some time I met Brooke, whom fitted me with a sling to help comfort my injured arm. She made me laugh and is clearly very experienced in her field of medicine. I want to say thank you to the amazing team of nurses and Dr. You all greatly contributed to easing my mind and understand today's course of action.
