He showed up early, got straight to work, and the whole job took about 2 hours. The service was professional and efficient from start to finish. What I really appreciated was that Chris took the time to answer my questions and even pointed out some safety issues he noticed in the attic, which was genuinely helpful and not something he had to do. Solid workmanship, great communication, and someone I would feel comfortable hiring again and recommending to others.

Chris did an inspection for a small fee that would go toward the repair, and he clearly explained what he found and how he'd fix it. He showed up on time, was respectful of our home, and was very honest. He actually recommended we wait to repair the ceiling until after our roof was fixed so the work wouldn't be ruined if it rained, and I really appreciated that transparency. Once the roofing was done, he got us scheduled right away, knowing I was close to my due date. One of his teammates completed the repair, and Chris still came by to check on the work. Everything turned out great. Chris is responsive, professional, and clearly cares about the quality of his work. I'd absolutely use him again.

He was on-site in less than 1/2 hour. He went to work immediately. Very little dialogue at first. He moved swiftly thru the room fixing issues as he went. Ended up spending almost three hours. Everything works as designed. After he was done we talked about the fix and the weather. LOL Call him. You will not be disappointed.

VERY HELPFUL! My…read morein-laws lost power in part of their house. FIL used to be a general contractor so he wanted to replace the circuit breaker piece. He was concerned that the piece was an old style that might not be made any more, and he didn't know any stores in the area that would carry a part like that. There was a place in the Bay Area but we told him that was too far to drive and urged him to just hire an electrician. The problem is, we didn't know if it was the circuit breaker, the GFCI breaker, or something totally different. In-laws were also concerned an electrician would charge an arm and a leg for the repairs, and they were on a fixed income with a tight budget. I decided to come on Yelp for help. Messaged a few electricians and companies in their area with the highest Yelp reviews. Jeff from 1 Source Electric responded as we were driving away from my in-laws' house. He was so knowledgeable and helpful from the very first message. Gave us a list of a few businesses where we could possibly find the circuit breaker replacement. I had never even HEARD of these businesses and would not have known where or how to search for such a business! I was appreciative that he gave us recommendations for where we could pick up parts, instead of just trying to make money off a potential customer. That speaks volumes about how a person conducts their business. Since we happened to be driving that direction, we stopped by BAY POWER in Roseville (I think they used to be known as Bay Breaker) as recommended by Jeff. They actually had the part! Fast forward to this morning: FIL informed us that the replacement circuit breaker fixed the issue! ^_^ *happy dance* We are super grateful to Jeff and 1 Source Electric for being so willing to help us over Yelp messaging. We will keep him at the top of our list if we ever have electrical needs. Thank you Jeff and 1 Source Electric! Highly recommended if you ever have issues with your power or electrical issues. 5 STARS!

Jeremy arrived and wanted to now what the problem was. I thought I'd written that in my request…read more I demonstrated that the garage door closed and then opened again right away. Jeremy looked at the door and basically told me it needed to be replaced. He made it clear that he couldn't do any work on an iDrive. He talked about the springs. Jeremy took a look at our other garage door which has a LiftMaster system that we had installed when we moved in (the iDrive had been installed by previous owners). He pointed out the springs and motor on the LiftMaster. Jeremy gave pricing that seemed to leave out the motor, covering the springs/torsion parts, I guess. Motor cost would have to be added or door would have to be opened manually. I was not ready to commit to the numbers given. I asked if he could at least close the garage door and was told only if I made a deposit and agreed to the job, that no work is free. No thanks. Then Jeremy talked about how he could give me a discount if I wanted the job done that day or even the next day. I said I wanted to think about it. I never received anything in writing regarding cost and details. Certainly felt like Jeremy was rather pushy and not inclined to be helpful. After Jeremy left and as I was writing to a company who stated clearly that they work on iDrive systems, a woman from TBS Garage called to confirm that a technician was coming. What? I told her he had already been here and was gone. He couldn't work on an iDrive system and why did they send someone when I clearly stated that I have an iDrive. She apologized. She called back a few minutes later, saying they would send a technician who was able to work on iDrive systems. Why didn't they send that person in the first place? Nevertheless, a different company was already on its way. I told her I would call back if need be. I hired a different company to do the job.
