When I told the cashier what I was searching for another lady came up escorted me to the back and helped me to select a good, sturdy, yet cost effective stroller and playpen. She carried both items to the front for me & even offered me a wipe to clean the stroller. Out of nowhere another consignment worker came up and the two ladies demonstrated how to pop the playpen up and down. As if this experience couldn't get any better they cleaned the stroller for me and held the baby while I checked out at the register. I tried to take both ladies with me because obviously, I've been out of the "baby loop" for a while and they are experts but, surprisingly they wouldn't come! I haven't ever visited a consignment event. This place is amazing and I was able to make 2 purchases for less than I would have paid for 1 new one at retail cost. Thank you for hosting this event and selecting workers/volunteers that also enjoy working with people!! I definitely recommend anyone that has or cares for small kids to shop here first before going anywhere else.

And ask for Joyce, she's amazing! We then came back on a Sunday for the car seat and got the same experience- so helpful and knowledgeable. They did not have what we needed in stock either time, but they ordered them to the store, called us when they were ready and we came back and picked them up. The best part on ordering strollers, car seats or furniture from them is that they have a promotion where you get 25% back on a gift card to purchase on anything (that isn't furniture, car seats or strollers) to use within 6 months. They also have any/all baby gear you need! However, I'm in the market for a double stroller and being that many are $$$, I wanted to make sure I was able to get my hands on one first to see all the features in person. Shower me with love was one of the only stores that came up in my search for baby stores around Charlotte. I was happy it opened at 9am.. accommodates a toddler who also wakes up early! My husband, daughter, and I came here and were initially excited to see an abundance of strollers in the window. Our excitement ended there. When we entered the store, it appeared like no employees were in sight. I grabbed the 2 double strollers I saw and wheeled them around the store to get a feel for them. Of course no price tags are on the products ($$$ ughhh). So, I was waiting around, looking for an employee to ask. I only found one when I went to the checkout area. It was at that time I was informed that the only 2 people qualified to educate and talk to me about strollers were not working that day! No other employee could help. Seriously? So I guess that's why the stroller part of the store was ignored (there were a couple other families there looking lost and wondering were help was). So we left. The good part is, that one of the employees was able to tell me the cost of the stroller I was looking at. I found the same stroller online, on sale, for a fraction of what I would have gotten it for here.

This location was big and offered a different variety of everything. From long, short sleeve shirts to leggings, jeans, and dresses. Everything was super easy to find and marked according to sizes. This location has two entrances and is separated from girls to boys. The only downside is that there were only 2 cashiers working, so by the time we got ready to pay, there was a long line. It looks like they were also in the middle of taking out new inventory and organizing the store, so they were taking out a lot of new things also. Def. Recommend checking this place out if you are in the area.

Once you locate your size, you have to scan the clothes on hangers and decide if they are something you would wear, regardless of the reduced prices. I didn't find anything since many were purposely sent here based on non-interest by the consumers at Dick's locations. It would take several hours to find a diamond in this rough but the bargains are there. You just have to find it.
