Our 7 month old daughter attended this location for 1 week and we had several concerns. The first was child to teacher ratio, though we had been told they complied to the state mandated ratios, more than once in less than a week we found more than 4 babies per teacher upon pick up. The second was how a lock down was handled. We received an email first thing in the morning that the daycare was on lock down and children couldn't be accepted. When the all clear was given, there was no context provided and upon calling we had to make multiple phone calls to get through- and did not get a clear answer as to why police had directed the lockdown. We thankfully had not yet brought our daughter in, but I can not imagine my panic if this was how poorly they had communicated danger and she was already in the building. When I called to express concern, I was told this is how they "usually communicate lockdowns" and did not seem to understand my concern.

Within a month he was writing his full name without any help. I am extremely pleased with the care, curriculum, and learning. My son loves the school and all of the teachers, in fact, he gets upset when I come to pick him up early. This is classified as a pre-school in my eyes. Little Giggles truly cares about the children and their development. Something for them to be very proud of. Great communication and follow up with parents. The playing and learning areas indoors there did not appear dirty when superficially surveying the place but my son consistently came home reeking literally of human feces and I had to shampoo out his hair more than twice his second day there before I could get the smell out. Every evening when picking him up at 5:30pm, there would be black stuff caked underneath his nails without fail and I've had to clip each nail to get under there to scrub it out using a toothbrush. How in the world does a child get this filthy?? He's been in other daycare facilities and play classes and has never come home this filthy before. Additionally, my son lost an expensive pair of pants there that we received as a gift from Japan. I had hoped to use it for my next child but it got lost at Little Giggles Daycare somewhere amidst the many overflowing bins of list and found items stuffed in a back room. When I had asked my son's morning teacher, Mrs. K. J if I could take a look at the bins to see if the jeans happened to be there, I was met with a strange hostility which was surprising since I had never had prior interaction with her before. I felt like I was a child being reprimanded for asking to look for my child's missing items and she was not preoccupied teaching a class so I didn't feel as though I was interrupting anything. Other times, my child's winter coat and socks have been thrown haphazardly onto bookcases in an adjacent room or sloppily thrown into another child's cubby box. There seems to be little organization of children's belongings and class projects and little regard in keeping belongings separate which I personally feel is a bad example to follow. My son has also learned to say things like " go away" while attending this daycare which he never used to say. However, my largest concern with this daycare is the lack of communication between parents and teachers/director of little giggles. I was discouraged from just showing up on a random visit to see how my child was adjusting and learning when I had expressed interest in sitting in on a classroom visit. When picking up my son one evening, I was approached by K.J to stay to speak with her abouty sons progress in class ( my son is two and a half) and when I told her we had evening reservations at a restaurant where our relatives were already waiting, I was told, "well, if you don't care about your child's performance in school..." Who says that to a parent when first meeting them? Aren't teachers and parents on the same team? I then explained explained that o never received a memo or email from the school about a parent teacher meeting and was not prepared his evening having had a prior engagement. I then told krista that I would be happy to meet another day that week in which mrs K.J. replied that there was no other time we could meet since this was the only time available for her class. I brought a parent questionnaire back to this teacher and hand delivered it to her the next day filled with info about my child's learning curve, tendencies and temperament as well as a baby resume of all the classes my son has attended from the time he was 5 months old. I did this to show this teacher that I did in fact, care a lot about my sons education because she was so obviously not convinced. I have now placed my son in a Montessori school and I'm hoping our experience there will be different in a better way.

I love that they only take 4 babies at a time and have lots of toys and books for the babies to play with. I don't know about the other rooms since I had to discontinue my son's care there when he turned 1 due to a change in our work schedules, but I would definitely recommend the infant room. If we ever need full time care again I will look into using this daycare center. The other benefit is that they are very affordable if you are a cash paying parent. The office staff is also very friendly and I really did like the director, whom I believe is Jessica? The ONLY reason I give 4 stars is because if the normal infant room teachers are out (which rarely happens.) They have to use subs - which they could use a little bit more training I feel. Most times the subs were awesome though. Its just hard leaving your child with someone new and who doesnt know them well.

We just pulled our daughter out of there because they aren't even pretending to apply a curriculum for pre-k. They're babysitters, now, and not even very good ones at that. Most recently, we found soiled clothing stuffed into her backpack with her other clothing, sheet, and blanket. Not in a bag, just right into her backpack which now is soaked with urine. My four-year-old doesn't often have accidents, but good lord, what lazy, thoughtless person thought this was ok? During the pandemic, staff was supposed to be masked. Almost daily, either on dropoff or pickup, there were staff seen in classrooms or in the office (the part parents and kids walk though) either completely without a mask or the mask pulled down. Every time I brought it up, I was told that they'd "mention it in a staff meeting" or confirm that yes, it is their policy for staff to mask up. Regardless of your views on masking, the fact that they just didn't enforce their own policies that are supposed to be in place for safety, is unacceptable. The owner, Tom, also spread misinformation during the pandemic regarding masks and other preventive measures via signage posted at the center and at the summer camp location. This place started going down hill quickly when the director (a couple of directors ago, I think) left. Andrea was the last good one, but it was clear that she was being hamstrung from actually doing anything good there. I know it's tough finding a child care center these days, but please, if you have the option, look elsewhere. I'm sure there are other places just as bad or worse, but I no longer trust this place to keep my child safe and certainly not to prepare her for kindergarten. The dozen or teachers who have cycled through that room in the past few months have been uninterested in getting to know the kids, have completely ignored kids who clearly needed attention, were downright mean to kids (witnessed during dropoff on numerous occasions). If you can help it, please trust your children to another center. Also, the five star review that this is updating was written with the promise of a starbucks giftcard. I'm not sure how many other positive reviews are genuine.

This is where she found her love for broccoli. She has made great friends and developed close bonds with those whose look after her. This is where she learned to write her name. There's weekly artwork they do to bring home, that's always fun. Only thing that would make it even better is a better bigger outdoor area, but the kids don't seem to mind and at least they are going outside and getting some fresh air, so that's good! The staff here is incredible! Charity, miss Tiffany, Valerie, jasmine, Omari, Nikki, Barbara, Mona to name a few. They're great with the kiddos! And at nine months, they will give your kid solid foods without telling the parents and at 12 months they will not notify you with switching your baby from the baby room to the waddler room and going full-blown on solid foods but remind you your child will be eating their allergy food. My child has been in her care since two months old I finally took him out and got a nanny. My son has seen t he doctor mult iple times for being with a milk, allergy and suffering with respiratory issues and bowel movement issues. I have provided doctors notes which was in Charity's system as well as contacted Charity one time about the food to see if there was dairy in the food. She responded very rudely and hung up in my face while Very unprofessional I was concerned about my son, having that allergy, which is dairy as well as I asked the cook before asking Charity was there dairy in that food the cook responded with I don't know I'm not sure knowing the cook knew not to serve anything with dairy I even provided snacks, substitution and food substitution plus milk substitution, I have took pictures of the food for the week and also asked for the schedule to be printed out so I could hand to the cook every Monday and my son continued to suffer. I received all my foods back while some of my child's snacks they kept. Majority of all his food was untouched. Sharon Prendergast has an awful attitude and defended her staff. She even began to retaliate against myself and daughter for me reporting them to cps. She would hang up on my face when I called to check on my child, told me I'd wouldn't bee able to find another childcare facility when I stated I was disenrolling her. Also Vanessa in the toddler room is very rude to parents when picking up and dropping off their children. This place is a daycare nightmare. Filled with unprofessional, and physical staff.
