My wedding at Rainbow Gardens was absolutely beautiful. The staff was fantastic especially Marta. We are from Phoenix and we had never seen the venue in person until the day before our wedding and we relied on the photos. Let me just say that if you think the photos are beautiful, you should see the garden room in person. Wow! We were worried about it being 106F for our June wedding but, it cooled down just enough to feel comfortable. It is slightly humid if you are used to a dry heat but I was totally fine. Will you sweat if you're dancing? Yes... but that will happen regardless so dance away! There are only a couple things I would change that was: 1) make sure the guests sign in at the guest book. My mother in law had to find it and hand it around at the end of the wedding when people were already gone. 2) We didn't have the card cage that we requested (guests were confused as to where to leave their envelopes). My only major issue was a misunderstanding with the DJ. I would prefer to just reflect this to the DJ personally but it was a rainbow gardens preferred vendor (I didn't hire directly). We brought our choreographed music on a thumb drive specifically because our dance instructor changed the speed and created a fade out (it was not a full song dance). When the DJ announced our first dance he started playing the standard track (not from our drive), and he began before we were ready, it screeched at the beginning (what was that?) And the speed was off so that threw us off from the get go. It was awful. Like I wanted to cry. As if that wasn't bad, he went to the bathroom after he started the wrong version and we awkwardly stood on the dance floor while our guests were wondering what was going on. Marta tracked down the DJ and he came out and apologized and got our track in. We had a first dance do over but at least it was right the second time. All in all, I'm so happy with Rainbow Gardens, every single guest told me how beautiful the venue and ceremony was. I will also add that Rev. Mike was wonderful. He gave us a beautiful ceremony. I recently (10-11-15) had my wedding at Rainbow Gardens and it was perfect. I walked in on my wedding day and everything looked exactly how I imagined. Our coordinator Marta was very helpful throughout the whole day. We got married outside in the courtyard, no issues. There was a concern about the noise of the waterfall but there are plenty of microphones to cancel that noise out. The food was great, the cake was amazing, and the venue was beautiful. I was married here on 5/9/14, and it was truly the best wedding ever. I am a local, so I had 15 months to prepare...but they took care of EVERYTHING!! The DJ was spot on, and kept the party going. The photographer was hilarious, and got some great shots. The food and open bar were AMAZING ( prime rib and bourbon chicken ) and the cake was delicious. This place is absolutely amazing. From my first meeting to the end of the wedding the staff ensured that we would have the perfect day. The services they provided us were above and beyond. Sitting here a little over a week after our wedding, I sit here in complete awe and cannot believe how amazing the wedding turned out. The staff made the wedding planning almost effortless. I must give compliments to the chef. The food choices that we choose tasted better than we could have even imagined. The food just melted in your mouth and flavoring was on point. As for the DJ, he was such a complete gentlemen and ensured that the party stayed alive all night. I do not remember a moment when there was not anyone on the dance floor. UPDATE: Although our situation was initially handled poorly, we were contacted by Kelly the owner and he apologized and righted the wrong! We were allowed to select a new date and are looking forward to celebrating at Rainbow Gardens! We cannot put into words our excitement at knowing that once again we will be able to come together with our friends and families to have the wedding of our dreams at Rainbow Gardens. Thank you again Kelly for reaching out, apologizing, and fixing the situation. Good business goes a long way! ORIGINAL POST: I gave this place 1 star because you have to choose something. We would be getting married today April 4, but we had to cancel the wedding due to Covid19. We live in Seattle and things got really bad here before Vegas. It was a destination wedding. We had already had the last meeting 1 month before the wedding date, had made the final decisions and we were set to go. Covid came and messed it all up. We had paid a total of $8,000 to date and still owed 1,800 or so. Because we had the last meeting 1 month before the wedding we had relinquished another $1,000 deposit on top of the $1,500 non-refundable deposit when we initially set the date. Anyhow, we talked to the Kelly, the owner, and he agreed to refund us $500 out of $2,500 in deposits, he also sent us the remainder of our money paid that wasn't held for deposits. This was not our desired outcome. Instead of cancelling altogether, we would have preferred to reschedule, but since we don't know when everything will be back to normal we couldn't pick a date. He said things were fine in Vegas and that it was business as usual there. So if we would set a new date all the way through 2020 we'd have to agree to another $1500 in non-refundable deposit and relinquish the other $2500 that was already paid. We wanted to be safe and push it to next year but there'd be additional fees. Additionally, we were told that if the new date came and we needed to cancel due to Covid or any other reason we would lose $4000. We opted to cut our loses given the uncertainty surrounding the pandemic and he kept $2,000. We did not want a REFUND we wanted to reschedule but Kelly decided that keeping 2k was better than just rescheduling us without the ridiculous stipulations. I am so sad and disappointed because we had chosen everything and all our family was ready as well but we couldn't reschedule. This is a nice venue but the way our situation got handled was terrible. I am aware businesses have to make their money too but this cancelation was out of our control. This whole situation could been handled differently. Anyway we don't know if we're going to get married now. I've seen reviews whhe has given others different refunds and I'm wondering what is the criteria he uses to do that? So if anyone out there is thinking of booking this place just keep in mind that you'll loose money even if there is a worldwide pandemic. Kelly did not care that he lost us as customers. read more

Went here for a friends wedding. While I am a big supporter of letting places like this do weddings because that's whey they do for a living this space was just ok. They have a large area and it's decent enough but I will say that the food they catered there was cafeteria quality. Also the dressing room for the groomsmen, I was very happy that they were able to get all the brooms out of it before we got there to change. It would have been nice though if the A/C would have been turned on for us instead of only after the bride and her party arrived. Having to change in a 10x10 room with 6 other guys was annoying at best. In hindsight we should have just waited and changed in shifts. This venue will get the job done for a wedding but I'm pretty sure that there are others out there that are better. I cannot speak for the cost however... read more

Handled my lifelong friend's wedding perfectly. Great service and friendly, welcoming staff. At one point had to make a personal phone call and the manager allowed me to use her office without hesitation. We just had our wedding at Rainbow Gardens on 10-18-18. I cannot rave enough about this venue! It was absolutely perfect! The staff was fabulous! When I heard about and inquired about Rainbow Gardens, my stress went away. They had an all inclusive package that included all the food, DJ, photographer, cake, open bar, tables and linens. Be very careful with this venue. If I could give 0 stars, I would. 1. You have to sign a contract saying you won't post anything negative on social media (regardless of whether it's true) 2. Their non-negotiable deposits are not flexible. If from their perspective your wedding can still legally happen they will not let you reschedule without losing that deposit. Regardless of the number of guests you gave the deposit for, your level of discomfort with having a social gathering during a global pandemic, if important members of the bridal party cannot attend due to travel restrictions or other COVID related reasons. I have seen at least 6 Yelp reviews disappear related to weddings that the venue refused to reschedule related to all of these concerns (not including my own so that makes at least 7). The owners response is always to have the person give them a call when there is nothing left to talk about. There are plenty of other small businesses that are being responsible and rescheduling, do not be fooled. read more

Our wedding was on Saturday, April 16, 2016. Everything was great! We reserved the entire place for our wedding. The outdoor candlelight ceremony was awesome. Cocktail hour in the formal room was perfect and then the reception in the Garden room was elegant with beautiful tropical plants and trees with tiny lights and candles everywhere. We went with the buffet since it was a night wedding and most people would like the choice whether to eat or not. Our guests are all locals so the highway access was very convenient. I had the best day of my life there. Quickly after getting engaged I started to get overwhelmed by all the decisions I was going to have to make. Then I found Rainbow Gardens and it totally simplified my life. For a very reasonable price they take care of almost everything. The only thing you have to do is get your wedding clothes and your flowers. They take care of everything else. They always answered my questions and made time for us. The day of the wedding rehearsal and the day of the wedding, the coordinator made sure everything ran smoothly. The pastor was adorable and the garden room glowed with light. The DJ was spot on with the music. The food was delicious and the bartender was amazing! I got cupcakes instead of cake and all the flavors were delicious. Rainbow Gardens is the place off the strip to have any function. Our wedding was 3 weeks ago and people are still sending pics. The package included everything you can think of and open bar for 4 hours for less than $5100 and that's for 80 people!!!! I live in Vegas and trust me we went to so so many places and nothing comes close. We had our nuptials in the garden room and Being the groom I got to see the reactions of everyone coming in and I couldn't have been more proud. What more can I say that's would emphasize how disappointing this is for either parent not to have a proper clean place to change their child's diaper? Be careful with this place. They say one thing and then charge you a lot more. The back rooms smells funny. They do not do food tastings. They have lost of weird clauses in their contract. 2 people mid quoted their fees and the price went up $5000. Read the contract carefully. While this venue gives a lot of bang for your buck, there's plenty of room for improvement. The dinner was mediocre, but the cake was great. Our coordinator did his job, but never made us feel special. RG bills itself as an all inclusive venue meaning that taxes and gratuities are included. When we saw a tip jar on the bar, we wanted it removed. Our coordinator told us it would be $300 to remove the tip jar. What part of gratuities included am I missing???? Thought that was VERY tacky!!!!! Lots of pretty spots for good photo ops. The room looked very pretty and the Pastor did a good job, too. read more

We just got married here last week and the place was beautiful. Marta was so pleasant to work with. As an all inclusive venue, i would say this place is definitely worth it. we had our ceremony outside and the we used the formal dining room with approximately 170 guests. Everything was setup nicely, plenty of room. They were very accommodating and the food was great. The DJ however, we did not get to meet until the day of. During dinner the music was low and didnt really set the mood right but when the party started going it got better. There was some malfunction with the photobooth but they were able to give us an extra hour of use. Our minister was such a lovely person to speek to. He had nothing but nice and kind words to say. We are so glad to have met him and that he was able to perform our services. Our cake was pretty and simple, just the way i wanted it and it was super delicious. They also did a very good job on my husbands grooms cake, it looked too good to eat. Overall our experience was great. I would definitely recommend this place. My friend got married here a few months ago, and I was her maid of honor. This place was awesome, especially considering it was one of the less expensive options. First was the DJ, Patrick. He was nothing short of amazing. To hear him go over the paperwork with the bride, I couldn't believe how detailed he was, he was so professional and wanted to make sure the wedding/reception went perfectly with every little detail. And once we started, he was not only playing a great music mix and being fun, but making sure everything happened how it was supposed to happen, keeping the bride and groom informed the entire time. So great. Next was the coordinator Kim, she was such a pleasure. She was both relaxed and funny yet very professional and on top of things the entire time. It was very comforting knowing she was there as I could tell she was a problem solver. The food was decent, nothing to write home about but enjoyable, again especially considering the price. The bartender was so funny and sweet, and made the best drinks ever! You can tell she is really, really good at what she does. The facility itself was deceptively beautiful, since from the outside it's just so-so, could stand some dressing up outside. About the only improvement I would make inside is a baby changing station in the restroom, but other than that the room itself was gorgeous.
