If you're going to have security, keep them at the entrance/exit. It's rude and uncomfortable for them to profile your shoppers and follow them around the store. -seasonal items don't stay long. We struggled in the dressing room because I couldn't figure out how to help her get it on and she ended up stuck at one point. Long story short when we finally got the dress on I couldn't figure out how to lace the back and reached out to the associate for guidance. She flat out refused to help stating "No I don't want to go in there". My daughter was brought to tears and of course the 3 girls refused to buy the dresses they all wanted out of principal. It pains me that in 2026 this is how people treat others with disabilities.

Typically she sends out a coupon once a year for your birthday which entitles you to one item at 20% off, since I didn't receive it last month, I asked if she discontinued her tradition. She said she still does it, and that I should have gotten one. I didn't. Her employee said "See, another person, like I wasn't the first, and added that she too hadn't received one. Not a big deal, but she turned it into one. I asked if she would be willing to still honor it, since mine never came. She said yes. I proceeded to check out with a pricey shirt. $150.00, so 20% would have knocked off $30. I also was using a $100 gift certificate a friend had purchased from her for a bd gift for me. Because I was using the certificate, she said I couldn't use the coupon, because she wasn't selling her last Italian shirt for $20, and I could use it next time. Huh ? She wasn't selling it for $20. My girlfriend had paid her $100 and I was giving her $20, so she was getting $120.00 for it, but she carried on, and I really got to see who I have been supporting for so many years. Beyond that, she was telling fabricated stories, and really made herself look bad. I will not recommend her shop to anyone, nor will I go there again. This is not how you treat repeat customers, or any customers for that matter.

There were some women in the check out like in front of me who were clearly spending a lot more money than I was, and that resulted in me waiting over 10 minutes to pay because the women behind the counter were chit chatting about their personal lives. I wasn't greeted, I wasn't told "be right with you," and even when I stepped up to the counter to pay neither woman said a word to me. I've never felt so unwelcome in a store before. Jamie's first impression sums it up: "This looks like a Home Depot, but for clothes." This Old Navy looks very much like a warehouse, complete with half-stocked shelves and empty racks. It's possible that, since the holidays have come and gone-- plus they were having a 70% off sale-- that the clothes flew off the racks and employees haven't had the time to restock. It's possible, anyway. But I have a feeling this is the usual. Dressing rooms are in the very back. It took a little while to check out, as several people were returning items they were likely gifted for Christmas. Jamie found a pair of pants, listed for $29.99 but stocked under a sign toting 50% off. When we got up to the register, the pants were on sale... for $29. A whole 99c off. Whoopee! He decided to go ahead and purchase, as he did really like the fit and feel of the pants (casual, without the "cheap" material). Her selection of clothing and other merchandise for sale in her shop were very well chosen (timeless, classics, vintage, hip, trendy etc), on her part. Mimi was a class act! I was sad to see her move. But hopeful the new owner would continue with the great quality of style and fashion sense. Only to be disappointed, VERY DISAPPOINTING! The new owner can be somewhat rude at times. And the selection of clothes and items are not so hot anymore. She is kind of greedy. My experiences with her have not been so great. And the new owner moved and where she moved is awful....hardy any parking spaces and everything is packed so tight, it's hard to shop. The new shop is extremely smaller in size and the set up of the store in general was unorganized. Merchandise was clump together tightly packed, doesn't flow and it just seemed cluttered and some merchandise not easily accessible at all. The new owner should not have moved, BIG BUSINESS MISTAKE. I think she hurt herself by moving. So many people I have chatted with are very disappointed by her move as well and how she treats people poorly. Mimi had a great successful popular shop and the location was perfect. Wished new owner didn't make so many changes. If the wheel wasn't broken why fix it or make so many unnecessary changes. This is the second shop for this new owner. Her first boutique failed and it use to be right next store to Mimi's. After her first boutique failed, her and Mimi worked out things where she (the new owner) would take over and be the new owner at Mimi's. Some changes were fine. I get the new owner wanted to eventually change the name of the shop and make some changes, but moving was a big mistake. She also needs to treat all her customers nicely with respect.....not just a select few. May 2026
